Complaint Review: Darrin Gene Lopez - San Jose California

Darrin Gene (i will not state his birth name but his last name was later changed to Lopez, which he still uses today) was born in Staten Island New York and was moved to California by his mother, Denise. He was raised by his (non-biological father) Albert Isaac Lopez (San Jose, Ca).

When Darrin Gene Lopez was 17 years old he concieved and became a father to a son on June 29th 1997. Darrin Gene Lopez VOLUNTARILY DID NOT see his son during the first year of the boys life. His relationship with Deborah Licata (also of San Jose, Ca) did not allow room for his child. From the time this child was one to about 3 years of age, Darrin Gene Lopez was a very involved, very active and very loving father to this child.

Not financially, but who cared....he was being a father and that's more than money could ever buy for a child. During 2001, Darrin Gene Lopez was turned out onto methamphetimine by Tara Leigh Watkins DOB 11/24/1980. This child has never seen, nor heard from his father again. The only child support payment made in 11 years was made by grandfather Albert Isaac Lopez in the amount of $400.00 to Santa Clara County (California) Child Support Division.

It was made as "bail" to release Darrin Lopez from jail. Another payment has not been made. Darrin Gene Lopez has been charged with over 80 counts of "failure to pay child support". In May 2004, there was a hearing set for Darrin Gene Lopez to "surrender his paternal rights" as an alternative to continue to duck and dodge his responsibilites as a parent.

He FAILED to show at the hearing and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He voluntarily surrendered his paternal rights that day in court in he didn't show. However he owes child support from the child's birthdate until the day he surrendered his rights. He has since continued to "produce" children that he cannot support or take care of.

Now let me tell you AMerica that sure I would love to have $130,000 dollars that this man owes me in child support arrears and that he'll owe me for the REST OF HIS LIFE!!! But let's make a deal Santa Clara County. If I had walked away from my son and left him somewhere I would have been criminally charged with "CHILD ABANDONMENT" and I would have been arrested and I would have served time in jail and been put on probation. So why the F*** has this man Darrin Gene Lopez NOT been charged with "child abandonment" and gone to jail for abandoning his child?????

Here's the deal.....any DA in Santa Clara County willing to bargain with me? Lock this man up for 84 months...no good time, no early release, no nothing. 84 months STRAIGHT TIME in a California Prison for the 84 months between 1997-2004.(hey it would be 184 months now if he hadn't of surrendered his parental rights back in 04) Serve the time that my son served and we'll call the $130,000 debt he owes EVEN.

Erase it on the day of his release. It HAS and NEVER HAS been about he money to begin with. It's about the time. Time he STOLE from MY CHILD.....remember as I sat in the abortion clinic that day it was YOU...DARRIN GENE LOPEZ who said "I want to be the father to this child that I never had". Well your worse than Robert, Darrin, way F***ING worse. YOur A f'ing DEAD BEat drug addict.

And Santa Clara County Child Welfare Department PLEASE find Darrin Gene Lopez 1/15/1980 and Tara Leigh Watkins 11/24/1980 the parents of Darrin Isaac Lopez 03/31/2004 and Albert John Lopez 06/13/2006. FIND THESE BABIES AND SAVE THEM FROM THE METH INFESTED LIFE THEY LIVE. Darrin Lopez and Tara Watkins are HARDCORE drug dealers and drug addicts and have 2 INNOCENT babies involved. Living in one room apartments smoking meth in front of the children and I'm sure the children are high on Meth too.
