My story is like the other stories that are being reported.  Back in September 2011 I received an email from David Young stating that "we have you approved for a in-house modification program.  I would like to discuss this program with you along with my companies fees so please give me a call."  Previously, I had been struggling to keep up with my house payment and unfortunately had no other options but to pay to have someone help me.  So, I fax over all the paperwork asked of me and months and months go by.  I was receiving letters from the mortgage company which I was told was "generated letters" and not to worry.  I was told then by the mortgage company that if my loan was not brought current, foreclosure proceedings would begin.  So, stressed to my limit, I email David and he says that he will stop the sale date not to worry. 

 So $1575.00 later and now we are in mid December 2011.  I received a certified letter from an attorney that stated if the loan was not brought current, my home would be sold on February 7, 2012.  I told him that I was considering bankruptcy and he told me there was no reason to do that.  Again, I trusted him.  So Christmas passes and then I get the foreclosure letter stating that nothing had been resolved and the sale would continue with my home.  I again contacted David and told him what was going on and he said that he would handle it. 

 On January 9, 2012 I receive a letter from mortgage company that states "your loan is not eligible for a modification because we service your loan on behalf of an investor or group of investors that has not given us the contractual authority to modify your loan."  Needless to say, I filed bankruptcy and saved my home.  So, I inform David that I have filed bankruptcy and he makes no mention of refunding my money and makes no comment on what the mortgage company had sent to me.  A few weeks later I contact him again and he says "of course I am willing to refund your monies as promised I never had any other intentions.  These folks (on Rip Off Report) have recently posted comments about my company had been declined just within the last 5 days.  I will continue to help people in need and will always be hones with them."  HAHA!!!   Then on January 27th he says that he will send out $250.00 every three weeks until I am paid in full starting on February 10, 2012.  Check was put in mail that night and as of today, still hasn't gotten here.  February 17, 2012 he says "I just need to set you up in my account and I can transfer directly from it...I will email you the confirmation."  Now the reason he said this is because I contronted him about the check not getting here so that was suppose to make it all better by transferring it to my account. 

 Let me just say that I have emailed him at least 25 times this week and have gotten NOTHING from him.  No email responses, no wires and no check.  I have also placed a complaint with the BBB on his company.  All I expect is to be reimbursed for money paid to him for a loan modification that was never going to happen.  I hope that all who have been taken by him will report him until he makes good on all that he has done.

This is interesting and thought all of us who are victims of David and Minerva Young would enjoy this.  Looking online at the Las Vegas NV public records I ran across this:

Summary Eviction
Landlord vs Tenant David Young and Minerva Young
6/18/12 - Motion to Stay Summary Eviction - this is filed when someone receives an eviction notice and they are trying to buy time not to get kicked out - sounds like David already!!
6/20/12 - Notice of Court Hearing Mailed
6/20/12 - Order Setting Hearing
6/27/12 - Eviction Motion (1:00pm)
RESULT - MOTION DENIED

So, it appears that David and Minerva are getting what they deserve.  They are experiencing what he put us through.  How wonderful for them!!!

This is an update on my particular case.  David Young is ignoring all of my emails since he was suppose to mail me a check on February 10th.  He has apologized for putting me through this and said that he would be honest with me from this point forward.  I have been waiting on this check which never came.  I confronted him about it then he said that he would wire it to my account.  This never happened either.  Since his last promise to be honest with me, I have been avoided.  Now his phone number and fax are disconnected.  We have all been taken people!! 
I have reported him to the BBB which he has not responded to them either.  I also have reported him to the following:

You have to file a complaint on the business through them.  Then they will attempt to contact him through mail and have him explain in writing what transpired.  If he does not respond, they will go visit his office location.  Assuming they make contact, they will ask him to make a refund since it appears he is engaged in unlicensed activity.  Then  they will determine whether to issue and administrative order which includes a fine and restitution.  If he doesn't comply with their order they will forward everything to the Attorney Generals office for a criminal investigation.

Everyone needs to do this to get our money back.  He isn't going to do it willingly.

In order to combat DAVID YOUNG and his fraudulent business, make sure you file complaints with the BBB of Nevada, State Attorney's Office, FBI Mortgage fraud (there's a noticed regarding loan mod companies), Las Vegas Metro Fraud Division, and the Federal Trade Commission. Without reporting this business it will not get resolved.
