Davis Services LLC / Jonathan Davis Does Not Pay His Sub-Contractors / Tells Stories & Lies / Orlando, Florida
Jonathan Davis of Davis Services, LLC contracted me to install tile in the home of one of his clients. I started the job on 10/6/09 and completed it on 10/10/09 and the home owner paid Jon, which he promptly went to the bank and cashed the check. (I know this because the homeowner told me this.)
Jon than promised to pay me later on Saturday (10/10/09). Then Saturday turned into Sunday, Sunday turned to Monday and here it is 53 days later, and I'm still waiting to be paid. The amount is $2,138.00.
Also, I have a signed statement from the home owners where the work was done, that says they are completely happy and satisfied with my work and the installation of the tile. I also know that the home owner has called Jonathan several times asking him to pay me too.
On 11/9/09 he said that he finally had the money to pay me and to meet him at the bank near my home. Well, he never showed up and when I called him, he said he "forgot to meet me". On 11/12/09 He called and told my wife that he put a check in the mail and of course it hasn't arrived. I've stopped calling him because all I get are lies from him.
I've even had this issue with Jonathan posted twice in the Orlando Sentinel in Greg Dawson's consumer column.
I've filed a lien on the home owner where the job took place last week and now I noticed that his website is gone, as well as his wife's business website, which causes me great concern. I'm thinking that he's probably changed his email addresses, phone numbers and possibly fled the area.

Can someone please provide a picture of this guy - or a description? We have a Jonathan Davis that has been ripping people off up here is this exact same manner since at least 2010. First it was under the company name Prestige Construction & Renovations and now under the name of JD Renovations. Our local TV Station did a news report on his in 2013.

He's had multiple complaints of ripping off old people, ruining their homes and decks and then taking off with their money. Here are some of their complaints:

He uses PO Boxes for his business address. No real address for an office. Every word out of his mouth is some lie or another. Once he realizes the gig is up and you're on to him, then you will get the intimidating emails and messages.
He very well may be doign this in both the Northern Atlanta area and the TX area because he is always gone and never shows up to actually work.
This one I am referring to has had multiple police reports but the police always want you to use civil court to pursue it. He's clearly a criminal with ill intent, but no one wants to punish him for his crimes. It seems unfair that he keeps getting away with this and there is no wayt o know until its too late because he just changes his company name and starts a new.

Your complaint was filed years ago and you may not have access but I believe he is pearl and area under 1st choice home.net We were going to contract him to do a full remodel but I could not get any info online He told me he had been in business under the current name for 3 years but his email used 2017 I the tag [email protected] So that worried me so I held off to do more research in the mean time he was pushing to get started and wanted 50% to get started which I said no and offer to let him start a small project and I would provide material but he wanted 3k to pay labor so I held off then couple of days later he stopped answering his phone and voice mail was full So I think it is him just under a different name Also found he did similar to people in Dallas

johnathan davis is currently / may of 2012 just finishing houses on barkley street in hickory creek, tx. and on harrison st. in carrollton, texas. he is currently living in lewisville tx. as of 5/30/2012
he appears to be doing the same thing as the subject of the rip off report posting, that this is in response to, and several other post from other states.
if he pays tommorow like he promises, i will retract this posting, if not i will add additional information.
his company Community Home Repair shows as a recent filing 2012 with the texas state comptrollers office.
he has a web site
