I bought a 18 x 33 Swim & Play pool. Installation was perfect, wife & kids love it!
Let's see-Linda has given the viewers a choice to believe her and DC did something dishonest, but claims Island Recreational is just fine...

One look at the pricing contained in Linda's original report clearly shows she is lying.
BTW: DC accepts cash, checks, and credit cards.
But you don't have to take my word-we have hundreds of satisfied customers who are happy to be references.

This is really too funny. DC pools responds seven yrs later. The liner and wall change was repeatedly agreed upon back in 2007. This was clearly a bait and switch. Thankfully there are honest competitors with quality products and service.

This customer requested a liner change and was quoted a price for a liner change.
We did not provide the liner, it was provided by Island Recreational. At the time of service, Island recreational had provided this customer a new pool wall, which is more to remove and replace. The existing pool wall was not defective and did not need to be replaced, yet the customer not only insisted the pool wall be removed and replaced, but insisted that it be accomplished for the quoted price of the liner change only (you can see from the prices mentioned that ONLY the liner change would be included-feel free to call any LI provider to price liner change vs. replacing the entire pool, and see what kind of pricing you are told)
While we regret any misunderstandings that may occur from time to time, we feel this particular case was more along the lines of a customer trying to get one over on us. Rates are published, and while there may be additional labor for extra items, the prices for this job were as published and not subject to whimsical changes

Seriously folks, we get paid when we work. We can't comp a pool wall change, especially when not previously estimated and not required. We have a very large satisfied customer base and can provide references when required.
The majority of the complaints that have arisen over the 25+ year history of DC pools has roots firmly rooted in our former replationship with Island Recreational, whom we no longer do business with.
Please google Island recreational to learn more.

I have not had the opportunity to contact the office this morning to see if Dennis can explain what happened here.
Written estimates are typicall honored. I'd sure like to see a copy of the paerwork.
While we did work for Iland Recreational, we only accepted cashe, due to high volume, and low customer satisfaction.
We now accept checks & credit cards and have a full retail sotre in Holtsville, on Waverly next to the fire house.
If you want to acuratly asses where the fault lies, please compare your Google search results for "Island Recreactional" with your results for "D.C. Pools." I think you'll find the correct information.
We have references available and the vast majority have had a positive experience.
