I received a voice mail from a woman named Annie Smith from the Dept. of Legal Affairs. She referred to me by first name only, which was my first clue that she was full of it. She said that there is a Global notification regarding an eforcement action that has been started against me. If I am too busy to call her back, to have a retainer attorney call on my behalf.
I know I didn't do anything wrong, and it sounded suspicious, so I looked up the Dept. of Legal affairs, and just as I suspected, there are scams going on like this. I tried to call the number back three times, and call would not go through. I recently got a virus on my computer, with some company telling me that I need to call them in order to fix my computer. They were already in my system, and when I called them, they tried to get me to buy their fix for $89.00 dollars. I think they are watching my search/surfing the web, and that is why they wouldn't answer my call, because they know I just looked them up...Creeps...
