Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

This company touts a free trial sample.  After inputting your credit card #, evidently there is a terms & conditions statement in fine print explaining that you have to call within 14 days to stop the charge of the full cost of the items and a subscription to receive these products on a monthly basis to the tune of $180/month.  Only after receiving my Visa statement and their second shhipment did I realize what was going on.

Upon calling this company and informing them that I would expect a full refund upon return of the second shipment did they state that they do not accept returns.

They offered a credit of 25% of the second purchase.  After arguing with them about this, they offered a 50% credit.  Upon further arguing, they offered a 75% credit.  I asked that I receive a 75% discount on the first sale as well.  They refused to do so.  I accepted the 75% credit.

Upon calling our Visa card to stop payment on the first charge, the Visa company told me that they receive at least 15 calls a day regarding this scam and that there was nothing they could do about this as the company would win because of their terms & conditions and their right to refuse returns.  The Visa company said I was lucky to get the 75% credit as lots of people don't even get that.

Don't get caught up in this as I should have known better, but am now out $220!

The same thing happened to me!!

I lost close to $200 as well. I called the first time and requested they stop this from coming out of my account. They said they had no record of it, I must have called the wrong number or aa different company.

Please do not get taken in by what thsi company says. The stuff does not work and they just keep taking your money!!

Ditto to this - I want everyone to avoid Dermabelle!  This is a sneaky company and a 14 day trial period is not long enough to order their product, recieve the Dermabelle product and cancel follow-up shipments not is it long enough to ship the order back before you get charged $89.95 for Ilumacerm anti-aging eye serum and $ 87.35 dor the jar of Dermabelle.

Dermabelle is unreasonable & sneaky

Yes, I fell for the Dermabelle offer - just pay shipping & handling for the eye serum for $4.95 and oh, by the way, while you are at it, you can order a facial moisturizer for an additional shipping & handling fee of $ 5.95  - the Dermabelle Phytoceramide Skin Cream and Ilumaderm Anti-Aging Eye Serum.  (Both products were shipped together in the same box.)

The big problem is you must cancel this within 14 days - well, guess what, by the time they ship their products, you've kind of forgotten about the 14 Day Trial (10 day trial + 4 day shipping) and you get charged a lot!

I placed my order on April 8 and a summary of my order was emailed to me on April 10.  This included my order reference number, my name and address and billing address.  Nowhere within the email was a reminder of the 14 Day Trial (10 day trial + 4 day shipping).  Also, at the bottom of the email was the following:

Sub Total:  0

Shipping:

Grand Total:

No dollar amounts, nothing stating this was a 14 Day Trial (10 day trial + 4 day shipping).  The box arrived at my address via USPS on Monday, April 17.  I was disappointed I had not recieved the box before the weekend.  Also, this does not allow enough time to cancel within the 14 Day Trial (10 day trial + 4 day shipping).

And, of course, nothing was mentioned about the charges being $ 89.95 for the eye serum and $ 87.35 for the jasw-dropping skin cream.

On April 17, I emailed a reply to IlumaDerm<[email protected]> and stated "Please do not Auto-Ship any more of your product to me.  This is for both Ilumaderm serum and Dermabelle cream. Thanks!"

On April 18, I received an email reply from IlumaDerm <[email protected]> stating "Thank you for contacting Customer Care.

Your opinions are important to us.  Unfortunately, we will need to verify your account information before we will be able to assist you with the matter.  We kindly ask that you call our customer service at (888) 986-8490 and speak with a customer care representative directly.

We look forward to speaking with you!"

And then I noticed my credit card had two separate charges from Sleek Amoi Eye Serum for $ 89.95 and a charge from Jaw Dropping Skin for $ 87.35.

I proceeded to call (888) 986-8490 and spoke with ?Raymundo.  He cancelled my order but after further questions I asked, found out I had cancelled only one of the products - the eye serum.  Raymundo said I would have to call a different number to cancel the skin cream.  I told him there was only one Packing List for both products that shipped together in one box and only one phone number listed.  Raymundo then "decided" he then could also help me cancel the standing order for the second product.

On April 30, I called (888) 986-8490 to follow-up and make sure the standing order had been cancelled and question some of Dermabelle's lack of policy/notifications about their policies.  This was after I had tried to email the company again by replying to their original "Ilumadernm - Order Shipped email dated April 10 and I recieved the following notifications three times:

Delivery incomplete

There was a temporary problem delivering your message to [email protected]. Gmail will retry for 46 more hours. You'll be notified if the delivery fails permanently.

This was just a bit alarming since I had been replying to their original email AND had received an email stating I should call their (888) phone number.

When I called again on April 30, I spoke with a woman named Kenna.  She became impatient with me and kept stating that the company policies are on the Dermabelle website.  Sheesh - not real easy to find their policies without doing a bit of digging!!

This company is unreasonable with their return policy of 14 Day Trial (10 day trial + 4 day shipping) and not up-front about the deal I signed up for.  I've ordered many products on-line and NEVER had a  experience like this.

I've kept the shipping box and Packing Slip for (hopefully) any future problems!

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!
