I had the exact same thing happen to me....Craigslist, $1250 per month, and I did work and never got paid. This happened in November 2007. I updated two sites for a marina, the same day he sent them to me. I did exactly what he asked, and he responded via email that he was happy with my progress. A couple weeks went by, and I hadn't heard anything, so I wanted to be paid. I started to call and email, and finally got a response, a few days later. It was the same "uncle" story, and I said that I was concerned about payment. He said that he would make things right, and I said that he could send me more projects. That was the last I heard from him. I never got any more emails, phone calls, or payments. I called about once per day, for a while, and just gave up. If he has money for a lawyer, why not just pay the people he has screwed over. He was supposed to pay me $1250 per month, and I would be happy with like a hundred bucks, at this point. Now, the whole principle of the thing is what really bothers me.

Unfortunately Ric Fleming and all his alias names, Baylifedesigns, design ad group, design jax and all others may prove a difficult task to find out if he is legit. By reading his responses and comparing them to what others have said in this forum, solidifies that Richard Fleming has committed fraudulent acitivites against other people. It would be wise to research public records and court documents before doing business with Ric Fleming, the businesses he operates or anyone for that matter. For example, you can go to a free public records search for "fleming ric" and view any lawsuits against him and the outcomes of those lawsuits. Clerk(dot)org is one. Last name then first. Sunbiz(dot)org is another free document search as well searching for documents/judgement liens, fictitious names of Ric Fleming. You may be surprised at what you find. Other lawsuits in other states may exist and it is just a matter of searching and finding them. To help prevent yourself from falling into the same fraudulent scams ric fleming has placed onto others, it would be in your best interest to review all the facts on people and businesses you wish to do work for or have work for you. There seem to be many more facts supporting those whom Ric Flemming scammed from people who worked for him to companies that he has stole money from. It may be best to be very careful and be aware before doing any type of business with Ric Flemming or his "companies".

Mr. Bondanza, if you are pursing legal action, I would be happy to provide your attorney with all the information, i.e. emails to and from Ric from my situation which was a not surprisingly similar experience to yours. I have all the emails to detail what and how it happened. Very similar to your experience. This is becoming an increasing case of fraud to many people and I would have to believe there is some type of legal action all of us can take against Ric Fleming. Ric Fleming has done the same thing to me and my family. He owes me a similar amount of money for web services completed. I have submitted a complaint here and wanted to let you know. I will try to contact you if possible.

The purpose of the email that I sent was to show Mr. Fleming that at any time records could be pulled to prove he was not in Atlanta due to a sick and dying uncle as stated to Bobbi Nagle and me as reason for nonpayment to us. D.O.T. could show his car passing through an intersection of him driving. Debit and credit card records could prove him making purchases (nowhere near Atlanta) combined with security tapes. But Mr. Fleming isnt intelligent enough to realize that. Last night I received a belligerent, threatening phone call from Mr. Fleming. Mr. Fleming threatened to contact my employer and tell them that I was giving away trade secrets. He also made derogatory remarks about my wife which are not appropriate for this forum. He then proceeded to try and get me to meet him in a parking lot and said (and I quote)I would get out of jail faster than you would get out of the hospital. Making terroristic threats over the phone is a federal crime Mr. Fleming. I have also notified my employer of Mr. Flemings threat to contact them. My manager laughed at Mr. Flemings desperation. He also laughed at Mr. Flemings post of his lawyer contacting them and saying I was only employed for a year with them at the time Mr. Fleming, you are hereby notified in this public forum to cease and desist all threatening and harassing contact to me, my family, and my employer. You are furthermore ordered to cease and desist of mentioning my employer in order to protect their interests. If you fail to comply with this cease and desist order it will be appended to your prosecution.

You know Florida has a law that all convenience stores must have a working camera on premise 75% of all other businesses have cameras that are easily accessible via the internet. RESPONSE: I perform numerous updates to the website . Mike also made claims that he was/is the lead designer in the Lex & Terry Model Pinup Calendar M.B. RESPONSE: LIE. I was responsible for creating the SHIPPING METHOD FOR THE CALENDARS AS YOU WERE INFORMED . Mike was hired in September 1,2007 After all his postings here in this forum, my attorney has taken the time to look into Mike's background. The finding are listed: Mike is just an employee at Venus, he is not a manager in any form as he claimed. He has been employed at Venus for just under a year at the time my attorney made the calls. Most of the work I sent over to him was setup for him, and all he had to do was copy and paste them. He was very alive with excitement, and promised fast and correct work. I told him over to check his work for mistakes. For the first 2 weeks, he was very fast, and work was getting completed. Then...the 3rd week of the first month I was dealing with him, he would go missing in action for a few days without email or phone contact. When I did get hold of him, I was told of how his child hit some of the keys on his laptop and deleted all his programs. He stated to me he would be back up and running in a couple of days. Another time he made statements of how his email was down etc...I made of point to him to try to keep in touch with me due to the clients were calling me for updates and I needed to get information on his work progress. Now...Mike makes the claims of weather he worked, or did 1 or 100 edits it pays the same...so why even keep track? M.B. RESPONSE: Any developer who has any common sense would keep track to make sure it worth the cost of time (as stated in our conversation) October 1st rolled around, the work was still being sent to him, but was taking twice as long to be completed M.B. RESPONSE: LIE! I did over 200 updates . Mike was paid $1250 for his month of work M.B. RESPONSE: October 6th... and I had to threaten to stop work to get paid then! . When I paid Mike, he stated to me that on the following week he as going to have surgery to have a Hernia repaired. RESPONSE: Try 4 days ...so from the first week of October to on or about the 15th, no work was started or completed. M.B. I held my ground on this, he was off, no work was done...I will not pay him sick pay of $625.00 Since then he has requested to be paid for 2 months thru December. Mike is trying to get paid for a time frame he has not even worked. Again, trying to over bill me again! M.B. RESPONSE: I have every email and correspondence showing work completed through October AND November Now, after Mike's anger fit, his yelling and swearing me out M.B. RESPONSE: I never swore you out , I stood firm. No business that I know would ever pay for an employee who was out sick for time off unless they had sick time built up, or vacation days. M.B. RESPONSE: I also have the Craigslist posting saved... how 'bout them apples? This is the issue between Mike and I. I feel he was trying to take advantage of me and I was not going to let him do that. All the other crap that he claims is so false. Now...Mike has went after me in every way he can think of. Sending out over 700 text messages to my cell phone to pay him, After about 500 of the same text, I did text him back and tell him a few choice words. Anyone would. He emailed me and stated he was going to sue me...I told him to do so, let a judge handle this. He has also starting making calls to the clients, taking over the clients and making the same claims. I have talked to the clients he has called, many have been given refunds, many have had the sites completed and are happy, many are just tired of taking his calls and just wish to be left alone so they can run their business. I wanted a statement of the times she worked on the websites, she sent me over a long listed file that no one could figure out. I told her I was not paying her a dime unless she could prove she spent the time doing the work for the hours invoiced. She could never prove this, Sending out invoices is not proof of the work. Also, Bobby was going back into the websites she worked on, was changing the coding for the search engines, and then adding her coding for working on the sites. I never gave her permission to make those type of changes. When I asked her about this, she never gave me a real answer. One client, Andy's Truck Center, fell off the map. when I was marketing that site, the site showed up on the very first page of Google etc using any search word. Now they do not. I warned them about her not having the skills to place a client in the search engine. Not one site that Bobby has designed has ever shown up in a top position in the search engines. I asked her about this, she told he she does not know how to do this, and she just designs them. M.B. RESPONSE: I bet if I contacted them they'd say you ripped them off also... maybe worth a call... Now, since all of the above has taken place, I had to shut down designadgroup.com, designjax.com and the server. They caused to many problems. In reading over and responding to the claims that Mike and Bobby, aka "Sassy" have wrote in this forum, keep in mind while reading this that there is always 2 sides to every story. Action, reaction. And I will go into great detail about what has been reported on. After sitting down with my attorney, he has reviewed the postings, and with what has been written via the Internet, this falls under Federal Laws, written statements. I now have enough to file a law suit against Mike Boedanza in Federal Court. My attorney has started the process. He has made written statements that are false and against the law and easy for me to prove they are false. Now it time to talk about my dealings with Mike Boedanza. I posted a classified ad on Craigslist.com looking for a Part-Time, freelance website designer to make edits, changes, and updates to current clients, and new clients. Mike responded to the posting. He made claims of how advanced of a designer he is, statements of past websites he designed, and hosted, and at his current position working at Venus Swimwear in Jacksonville, that he is in the I T department as a Manager. Over seeing the administration of the Venus Swimwear website. Mike also made claims that he was/is the lead designer in the Lex & Terry Model Pinup Calendar. Mike was hired in September 1,2007 After all his postings here in this forum, my attorney has taken the time to look into Mike's background. The finding are listed: Mike is just an employee at Venus, he is not a manager in any form as he claimed. He has been employed at Venus for just under a year at the time my attorney made the calls. The websites that Mike stated he designed, or worked on as his work are false. None of the website has his personal coding or copyright on them. They were all designed by someone else. My attorney talked to the business owners of the websites, and they all stated in writing they do not know Mike, and he didn't do the work as he claimed he did. The Lex and Terry show is located in Dallas Texas, the producers of the show do not know of Mike in any work related projects, and the Calender was designed and produced by an outside agency. Now he may have viewed the Calender, but he did not work on it. Again, more claims they are not true. As you can already tell, Mike has told me of many tales to make him look credible. My attorney has proven otherwise. DEALINGS WITH MIKE: I hired Mike to do Part-Time freelance work from his home. Most of the work I sent over to him was setup for him, and all he had to do was copy and paste them. He was very alive with excitement, and promised fast and correct work. I told him over to check his work for mistakes. For the first 2 weeks, he was very fast, and work was getting completed. Then...the 3rd week of the first month I was dealing with him, he would go missing in action for a few days without email or phone contact. When I did get hold of him, I was told of how his child hit some of the keys on his laptop and deleted all his programs. He stated to me he would be back up and running in a couple of days. Another time he made statements of how his email was down etc...I made of point to him to try to keep in touch with me due to the clients were calling me for updates and I needed to get information on his work progress. Now...Mike makes the claims of weather he worked, or did 1 or 100 edits it pays the same...so why even keep track? October 1st rolled around, the work was still being sent to him, but was taking twice as long to be completed. Mike was paid $1250 for his month of work. When I paid Mike, he stated to me that on the following week he as going to have surgery to have a Hernia repaired. I told him to keep in touch with me, and let me know when he was going back to work. I didn't here anything from Mike for 10 days...so from the first week of October to on or about the 15th, no work was started or completed. I had a very heated conversation with Mike about his lake of communication, and not emailing or calling. I do remember this very well...I told him, I'm not paying him for the days he was off, the days he did no work at all, I was not paying him for sick pay. This is when the working relationship when down hill. Mike did begin to work again, by then I had many clients very upset and demanding refunds on deposits. He placed me in a very bad position. I'm not blaming him for the problems I had with the clients. I should have protected my clients better. Around the first week of November Mike was calling to get paid. I told him at that time that I was out of down due to a family medical issue, and I would be back in a fews day. He then stated to me that he was due $1250 for the month. I told him that was not correct, he was only due for only half the month due to he was off for the other half. I held my ground on this, he was off, no work was done...I will not pay him sick pay of $625.00 Since then he has requested to be paid for 2 months thru December. Mike is trying to get paid for a time frame he has not even worked. Again, trying to over bill me again! Now, after Mike's anger fit, his yelling and swearing me out, I stood firm. No business that I know would ever pay for an employee who was out sick for time off unless they had sick time built up, or vacation days. This is the issue between Mike and I. I feel he was trying to take advantage of me and I was not going to let him do that. All the other crap that he claims is so false. Now...Mike has went after me in every way he can think of. Sending out over 700 text messages to my cell phone to pay him, After about 500 of the same text, I did text him back and tell him a few choice words. Anyone would. He emailed me and stated he was going to sue me...I told him to do so, let a judge handle this. He has also starting making calls to the clients, taking over the clients and making the same claims. I have talked to the clients he has called, many have been given refunds, many have had the sites completed and are happy, many are just tired of taking his calls and just wish to be left alone so they can run their business. One client told me we both are a real pain in the a$$, tell Mike to stop acting like a child and settle this. Mike has now started with the emails again, the calls again, and even playing the Jesus card to me and anyone who will take his calls. You should listen to how he talks about people, blacks etc...he is not a saint. He has told me of how he thinks of the way people live, their lifestyles etc...and he stated he is a family man? I have an attorney in place to handle the business dealings from this point on...if he wishes to settle this, he can have his attorney get in touch with mine. Bobby, aka Sassy, aka Unicorn Web Designs. Mike has teamed up with her to go after the client base, they have made many calls, and have also contracted with several to re-design the website that I had hosted. Bobby has also done freelance work in the past for me. She was referred to me from another person in the advertising world. I have had several talks with him about her, and he has a many issues with her also. Bobby has many family issues he told me about. The reason I don't deal with Bobby any more, is she was over billing me to the tune of thousands. I has no way to track the hours she was billing me for. I wanted a statement of the times she worked on the websites, she sent me over a long listed file that no one could figure out. I told her I was not paying her a dime unless she could prove she spent the time doing the work for the hours invoiced. She could never prove this, Sending out invoices is not proof of the work. Anyone can send out an invoice. Also, Bobby was going back into the websites she worked on, was changing the coding for the search engines, and then adding her coding for working on the sites. I never gave her permission to make those type of changes. When I asked her about this, she never gave me a real answer. Again as stated above, I'm not paying anyone who is over billing me or causing problems to clients sites. Since Bobby went in and changed the codes, many if not all of the websites that Mike and her have taken over have dropped from the search engines. One client, Andy's Truck Center, fell off the map. when I was marketing that site, the site showed up on the very first page of Google etc using any search word. Now they do not. I warned them about her not having the skills to place a client in the search engine. Not one site that Bobby has designed has ever shown up in a top position in the search engines. I asked her about this, she told he she does not know how to do this, and she just designs them. Now, since all of the above has taken place, I had to shut down designadgroup.com, designjax.com and the server. They caused to many problems. I have talked to many clients and they understand a bad employee and what they can do. Those understanding clients are still with me today. I am now employed with another business partner/owner in the website design world. Mike has now started to talk trash that person's business name. He has no business doing that, again going after someone without merit. If he wants to talk trash about me, good for him...but he better be careful when he talks bad about a business that has never caused him any harm. A word of warning. In closing, I have over 14 years in this business. For 12 of those years, no problems what so ever. I try to keep everybody happy, sometimes it hard to do that when we deal with John Q Public. All we are trying to do is make a living. Many who read this post can relate to that. If Mike has a problem, deal with it in a professional manner, anything can be resolved. The manner he has taken has not been adult or professional. As of this week he has gone on the attack again...thus proving my points above. This can be settled, and I'm willing, but I will not be over billed, bullied or threatened. Ric Fleming
