Happy to hear you had a good experience and continue to encourage people who have not to continue to call me. It would be best to call before you buy so you don't have to join the group of us who have lost an enormous amount of time and money due to questionable business practices.

I have no personal knowledge of this transaction. I do have personal experience as a customer of Diamond J. I purchased the best horse I have ever owned from Alisha in the summer of 2010. I felt no pressure on the sale. I did call other previous customers for their opinions and got only positive reactions. Alisha was easy to talk to and helpful throughout the process. All I can go by is my own experience and the outcome of my purchase. My horse was exactly as promised: exceptionally well mannered, not an ounce of novice jitters, side pass, neck and direct rein, trot and canter when you want and not when you don't, will walk over bridges, through water, go right past trail monsters without a second glance, run right into the middle of a herd of young cows with confidence, open the trailer and he loads himself. Almost everything he does, he does with a been there done that attitude and a gentlemen like demeanor. Doesn't know what drama means. Alisha told me this is what he was like and she delivered on what she described, with no hassles or headaches. I would not hesitate a minute to work with Alisha again. While I cannot speak to any specifics related to this complaint, I do know that Alisha was sincere and patient with my purchase process and most importantly, delivered 100% on what to me is a perfect horse.

He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool. Proverbs 10:18
Our names are Amber and Chance, we were present and witnesses when Dr. Gillespie went to Diamond J to try George. Our three year old daughter is the reason there was a childs saddle on George, because she had wanted to go ride him one last time that morning before he left. I also went for a ride that day with Dr. Gillespie. I can imagine that she would have been very nervous on the ride because she told me that it had been years since she had ridden because she had nearly died as the result of a bad fall from a horse. She also said that she didnt know what kind of horse she wanted, but that she definitely wanted a saddle like Alishas.
We went for a ride around the farm, which took us through the pond, down a gravel drive, past dogs, and in the arena. We also had seen George ridden personally many times while he was in their program, he was a really nice, well trained horse. The horse rode perfect that day too, and was in perfect health. His eyes were clear, my wife took some pictures that day that show they were clear. Im attaching one below. George did do a flying lead change while Dr Gillespie was riding him, and she didnt even realize that he had done it. He did exactly what was asked of him that day like he always did.
It says a lot that we had the confidence to put our three year old on a horse that big bareback on a breezeway with a concrete floor without a helmet . See the pictures below that were taken on the day in question. We also have a pony from Diamond J for our daughter that is completely safe and exactly the way she was advertised. She even goes there for lessons every week. We would recommend that anyone looking for a quality, safe, horse or pony look at Diamond J. Alisha and Richard are really good, honest people (definitely not a scam artist, thats crazy) that you can trust. We would be happy to give a reference to anyone that would like to call!

My name is Julie, and I work as a trainer for the Jacuzzis, and also have the privilege of working with their children as their personal coach. I have been riding, teaching, and training for 16 years. I compete at the advanced level in eventing and am very experienced. There is not a nicer family that I can think of; Alisha is always so upbeat and welcoming to everyone. They work very hard to turn out safe, quality horses for their customers. They are passionate about what they do. I see them turn away good horses all of the time that dont meet the standards theyre looking for. I personally rode and worked with George over the past couple of months, and I can attest to his training and fitness. I saw him the day before Dr. Gillespie rode him, and he looked perfect, no eye infection or anything wrong whatsover. I was also present during his vet examination. His training was exceptional by any standards, but especially for a family horse which is what he was being sold as. I know for a fact that the people that bought George love him. I have personally met and talked to many of their customers; and they have many happy customers that come back and buy multiple horses from them. I know some families that have 3 or 4 of their horses and have never been there in person.
I have personally ridden almost every horse that has come through there during the past year that I have been working there, and I am happy to discuss them with anyone. They run a 100% legitimate operation and care about their customers, they are very honest. They have a very nice facility that I am happy to work at.
I am at Diamond J 3-4 days a week, but am available to talk with anyone at anytime.

I have read Alisha's lengthy rebuttal and I have been in practice a long time and if that is all you can come up with then God Bless.
We are doing full background check on the Jacuzzi's and have just discovered an alleged history of passing bad checks. We should have checked for criminal activity before we sent our money and visited their farm but we trusted them. We will post case numbers so you can verify. Alisha states she sold the horse in just one day but we have still have not recieved our money. So much for ethics. Funding your own world on the dreams of others should also be a crime. I think famous Bard said it best "Me thinks thou doth protest too much" .
Good luck Alisha in all your endeveavors and may you reap what you sow. At least you didn't call me a child molester like the last guy your ripped off. Anyone who has had a bad experience feel free to call me I know your embarrassed but talking about it with another horse lover begins the healing process. Also, the horses name was George and I know he was sent to Texas If the buyers need to call me feel free. I know he was advertised as being located in Dallas and you may have not gotten a chance to look at him personally. I know the phone sales pitch was very convincing I fell for it.
Start you back ground check on instant checkmate.com and we will keep you updated.

Probably as important as rebutting this claim is to help explain to you what this website really is about, and thats making money. Wikipedia says this site allows anyone over the age of 14 to post free, un-moderated and uncorroborated complaints. The site requires users to create an account which includes an unconfirmed email address... The reports are configured to display the complaint in the search result
summary, and not the rebuttal. (So you wont even find this rebuttal on Google.) According to the website, they may limit the number of rebuttals filed per-report and may decline to publish, or censor, rebuttals in certain cases. They do not allow authors to remove their own reports, even in cases where a mistake has been made. Furthermore the site will not remove reports in response to legal demands from attorneys. They generate revenues from the very entities that receive complaints, soliciting monthly fees ranging from under $1,000 to over $100,000 for the right to post rebuttals or receive favorable editors comments. They have, however, only attacked legitimate companies while merely fanning the flames of hatred by endorsing the rants of those who would complain even if a business has done nothing wrong.
As for the claim itself, the horse in question was NEVER advertised as a champion show horse. This whole complaint is filled with lies. If you look at our horses on the website, youll see that we specialize in creating safe, sound, well trained horses for families. While many of our horses have gone on to be
winners in rated hunter/jumper shows, barrels, eventing, cutting, and sorting etc (you can see some of these in our customer testimonials) we dont sell or advertise them as that. We do customarily require a deposit to hold a horse because our horses do sell quickly, this horse sold the following day Marcia Gillespie came to our farm. We did tell Dr. Marcia Gillespie that we would refund her deposit if he did not
pass a vet exam as we would anyone but we couldnt just hold him for her without a deposit. We had held this horse for her, and told several people that he was not available. He passed a vet exam with flying colors the day before Dr. Gillespie came to our farm that she ordered and paid for. He was definitely not out of shape; the vet gave him an equine body index score of 7 the day before she saw him. He did not have a severe eye infection either, that is a lie. We have copies of the vet exam which we would be happy to provide to anyone, as well as the vet has said he would be happy to confirm it. The reason the horse had a childs saddle on it was because there was a 3-year old girl that had been riding this horse some after her lessons and loved just leading him around too. She happened to be here and just wanted to ride him one more time before he left. What is wrong with having a childs saddle on a horse? While Dr. Gillespie may have been an experienced rider at one time, the rider we saw would be more classified as a beginner (nothing wrong with that either, many of our customers are) according to several witnesses that were here at the time she was riding. She explained to us that she had a terrible fall from her previous horse that she had broken nearly every bone in her body, and that it kept her from working for months. We have video of this horse side-passing, doing flying lead changes, in addition to all of the normal things we show that led her to find the horse and put down
a deposit and do a full pre-purchase exam. Dr. Gillespie was very impatient from the time she arrived, had a clear disdain for children from the way she treated our daughter and the other little girl that had been riding the horse. We didnt suggest that the horse would remember its training, we did suggest
that it might take her some time to get back into the swing of things, to get used to a new horse after her fall, and that she might want to take some lessons on him when she got back home. She didnt want to listen to anything that we had to say, or take any advice on how to ride him. She already knew
everything!
The horse she rode was a super kind, well broke horse that was sound and solid in his training. He did several flying lead changes that she didnt even notice while riding him. And
she calls herself an experienced horse person? He was not a cheap horse. A horse with this kind of training that will carry around a beginner to experienced adult or child is worth their weight in gold to someone who fears of getting hurt and wants to ride safely. This is the kind of horse we work
very hard in our program to train and turn out. The fact that Dr. Gillespie resorts to criticism about our expensive arena and to support our daughters expensive habit is just insulting as a parent. Our kids love for riding has been a result of what we do, not the other way around. Its not just my daughter that shows and rides in our family, but we all do. We do have a nice facility and it is not something that we should be ashamed of or called a scammer because our place is nice. She clearly had some self-worth issues, the minute she stepped out of her truck she commented on how she only had 1 acre of
land and wanted more, and that she was embarrassed of her trailer, none of these are things that we even thought about or care about, we work with all types of families at all income levels and treat everyone with the same respect. We have hundreds of happy customers that would love to tell you their
story.
Dr. Marcia Gillespie obviously has some issues dealing with people in general; here is what a few of her patients have said about her on vitals.com. I would simply like to state that during my appointment Dr. Gillespie was very short with me and would not listen to any of my concerns. She then accused me of
fabricating symptoms and criticized me personally. I have never been so offended by a health care professional in my life, She has no concern after the pregnancy for her patients, It has taken me two years to track her down so I can get my files to take to my new OB after she abruptly left town leaving
me and many others without warning. All I can say personally is it is nice when bad Dr's (can she really be called a Doctor when she "practices" so horribly) leave before they can do too much damage. There are many more similar accounts of her personality on this and other sites as well. While we wouldnt normally criticize someone, forums like this make it a necessity to help people consider the source. All of these quotes are from different people and they were there before we ever met her.
Unfortunately we live in a tabloid world where anyone can anonymously say anything to hurt someone
and hide in the shadows while trying to avoid the consequences of their actions. We all know and have met people like Dr. Gillespie, please talk to us and many of our references that have also bought horses from us with and without coming to our farm and form your own opinion.
