I joined Digital Founders Academy on June 30, 2016.  I sent one email to my double opt-in mailing list and sent one lead to DFA through that email.  In other words, I have not been there long enough —or done anything— to violate the affiliate agreement or any other terms.  In fact, I read the entire mile-long affiliate agreement to be certain not to violate.

What is advertised to happen is this: you get $40 credited to your account per lead.  Lots of legitimate and very well-known and respected businesses pay per lead and many pay very well, so $40 did not cross me as being suspicious.  But no money was ever credited to my account for this lead.  This was not just a lead, either.  This was a referral; meaning that he entered payment details to begin the trial.

The next day, I received an email from DFA stating that they had canceled my subscription.  The email also stated that my account would remain active until July 6, 2016 (the end of my trial).  But when I tried to log in, I found that they had also locked me out of my account.

I wrote to support on numerous occasions, but have received no response.  You can also read about the 'no support' issue at this other Alex Shelton ripoff report:

In addition, the Digital Founders Academy members area does not have anything that is mentioned on the front page of the site.  It has three videos and they are all brand new.  None of them are about business building or other topics mentioned on the site.  They are about buying  solo ads (emails) from Alex Shelton's partners.

Do not fall for the Digital Founders Academy scam (DFA scam) owned by Alex Shelton scammer.
