I have been a Direct TV customer for years! I was having a upgrade to a HD DVR in our Bedroom. The installers called and said they would be there in 30 minutes. I had taken the half day off from work. I waited. My time frame was from 8AM to 12 Noon. I kept getting calls saying we are on our way, we will be there. After 12 noon I called Direct tv. I had to call my Boss and miss the rest of the day. I kept getting calls from The Installers saying we will be there. They never showed up. Direct TV kept saying hang on. I called Direct TV numerous times and I recieved a ton of calls from Direct TV and the installers. I wasted a whole day. Direct TV issued a $50.00 credit for my time. I missed the whole day of work!!! Tara from the office of the President said she would comp NFL Sunday Ticket. I would be given the season for free. It never happened. I got a bunch of Emails showing credits to my account. The credits to my account were never applied. I was lied to and treated horrible. They have overbilled us and lied to us numerous times. All these credits should have cleared our Balance. The emails I still have show they have issued these credits, but they were never applied. The NFL Sunday Ticket that Tara said would be free was never applied. I wrote the CEO and President of Direct TV Mike White. He was the CEO on the TV Show Undercover Boss. He was on the show showing how he cared about customers, Direct TV's customer service, and making Direct TV the Best service company in the USA. He was not professional enough to respond. His appearance on the TV show Undercover Boss was a scam. He and his employees are unprofessional liars. They will lie to you all day long. They will make promises and not follow through or keep their word. Mike White is as much of a liar as his Direct TV employees. Avoid Direct TV. It is a horrible company. They will treat you great when you are signing up. They will then overcharge you, lie to you , and scam you every way they can. Mike White has no morals and is a fake. His Undercover Boss act, is just an act! Please avoid Direct TV!!!!
