Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

My wife and I were contemplating giving up cigarettes last July. I purchased two Vapes from DirectVapor, one for eadh of us. We tried our new E-cigs out but never made the leap to giving up tobacco until January 30th. My wife read somewhere that it was best to pick a specific date to quit.

I had used my Vape on and off from the time we  purchased it until we actually made the decision to quit. I had let my Vape dry out and I guess that fried the burner mechanism. I went to the website and detrermined that the best thing to do was change the tank, so I did.

I filled the newly installed tank, took a couple of drags and put it down. When I looked at it about 15 minutes later, I noticed a puddle. I picked the Vape up and it was obvious that the liquid I filled the tank with was leaking out. Eventually the tank emptied onto a paper towel.

I went online and sent an online message explaining the situation. A few days later I received an email directing me to call an 844 number for assistance troubleshooting the problem. Two days after recieving the email I called the number and explained the situation to Michael. After verifying my email address and name, Michael said, I'm sorry sir but I cannot help you because the product is out of warranty. Naturally I balked since I hadn;t had the Vape for a year. Michael suggested that I call the manufacturer since my Vape might be covered by their warranty.

Michael had replied that the "warranty" period was six months and since I purchased the Vapes on August 14, 2016, the warranty had expired. I was livid at the time and didn't realize that it was February 6th and six months had not passed. I did realize it on my way home and the first chance I got I called DirectVapor again. Guess what!!!

Michael answered again, I am now thinkng that there are no real employees or customer service at thsi point. After giving Micheal my email address, I asked for the date of my purchase to which he replied August 14th. Apparently it finally dawned on Michael that I had called hin a couple of hours earlier and he said, I'm sorry sir, I mispoke earlier, the warranty period is 90 days. Anyone care to guess how I responded?

I lit into Michael and probably called him a liar or a phoney, I really don't know that's how pissed I was. The p---k hung up on me. I didn't bother to call back because I realized that this company was a sham. All they cared about was taking cash from customers and screwing them over when a problem arose.

Moral of the story, if you are considering doing something good for your health like giving up cigarettes, don't make the same mistake I did, stay away from DirctVapor.

My next move is to file a complaint with the Florida BBB. This company has no morals or scruplesd. They told me the warranty was six months the first time I call;ed and when I called back the second time, the warranty period changed to 90 days. Can you spell ripoff? Let me help you D-I-R-E-C-T-V-A-P-O-R dot C-O-M.

Save yourself a lot of grief and research any company you consider buying anything from. If a company doesn't stand behind what they sell, they are sellng you nothing.
