I signed with Dish Network January 1st and set the appointment a few days later. The installers showed up 2 hours after the 6 hour window expired and they were upset about having to work late. They kept griping the entire time and were extremely rude, did not show me how to use the equipment or anything.

Two of them were speaking Spanish back and forth calling me a moron for having them work late and in the rain. I guess they thought I didn't understand what they were saying.

They were speaking vulgarly about my girlfriend in front of me aswell. She didn't understand a word of it so I just sent her downstairs and tried to deal with what was going on.

I just bit my tounge and tried to get through the installation process. I am a carpet technician and I work late, in the rain, in the snow, sometimes until 10 or 11 at night. It's part of the job, especially if I show up 2 hours late.

I gave them a satellite sheet from the apartment complex that specifically said not to drill holes in the wall. They did anyway saying that it would take too long to go through the existing lines. After drilling the holes they left them bare (with no cover).

One of the other guys asked the guy who drilled if he always does his installations like that and the guy replied "No, I usually put a cover on it, but I'm in a hurry tonight".

I was able to deal with all of that however the straw that broke the camels back was when I went downstairs to the master bedroom and found a huge scratch on my BRAND NEW BED. I moved into the apartment January 1st and bought completely new furniture. I had my furniture for about a week when this happened.

I called Dish Network who acted like they would solve the matter. They said they'd send an e-mail to the executive office and someone would call me back. Someone with a heavy french accent called me back about a week later but I couldn't understand a word he was saying on the message.

Since then I have contacted Dish Network at least a dozen times and every time I spend at least an hour on the phone talking to a million different departments and representatives. The last representative I spoke with claimed to be a supervisor but I slipped up at the end of the call and said his supervisor is on another line.

This guy who said his name was Jessi was the RUDEST person I've ever spoken too. He was literally yelling over my voice and handling the situation completely unprofessionally. I still can't believe he was YELLING OVER MY VOICE.

since then I have not been able to get a resolution to this problem. I explained that I want someone to come out and look at the damages. They refuse to send someone out and everytime I call the department I need to speak with is "closed" or "at lunch".

I never recieved any bills from these people and had to take the initiative to call in myself, find my balance and pay it. About a week after doing to my services were cut off which is a real inconveinance since I had things recording on my DVR while I was at work.

They claimed that there was no reason for my disconnection and it was a "mistake" but it took me about an hour and a half to get someone to turn it back on.

I've tried to cancel the service several times but they refuse to cancel the service. They say there is a cancellation fee and I have to uninstall and ship the equipment at my own expense. I wouldn't cancel if they knew how to do business.

I sent a certified letter that went unanswered and filed a BBB report that went unanswered. I spoke with an attorney who wants a fee to sue them and but said I am still obligated to fulfill my end of the agreement and pay my bill until the matter is resolved.

I just got my credit back to a decent standing and not paying them would bring it back down. I make decent money for a single guy (actually pretty d**n good) so it's not about the money. It's the principle of the matter.

Like I told them, I was cleaning a $5,000 oriental rug one time and spilled an ammonia based cleaner on silk by mistake. I took it immediately to the customer, showed him the damages and REPLACED HIS RUG WITHIN A WEEK. I simply expect the same type of service I give my customers.
