Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
"DISH Network continues to offer the best quality programming, cutting-edge technology, and a top-rated customer service experience all at an unparalleled value."  LOL

Do you see the sentence above?
We paid for service from this company for years. When we started losing their programming, saved movies we recorded and then called them to complain about it more than once, they turned it around like we did something wrong when it was their equipment that went bad and they sent out new equipment to prove it. This company writes really great company standards that they publish on their web site because it sounds good and may draw in other suckers, but if you are smart and read the 1169 other complaints on Ripoff Report .com, you will clearly see they don't know the first thing about customer service.

When we canceled and went with Direct TV, what a difference folks.  Much better programming, can search by title, category etc, and boy what a difference in the customer service. Here's where you can really turn the tide in your favor when dealing with this con game.

When they send you the return shipping boxes and return post paid labels, they will tell you, you are responsible for paying for the shipping. They will tell you it's in your signed contract and that it is for insurance on the return of their equipment, even if it doesn't work anymore. They will argue with you, even send you up to higher levels in the company who also say the same thing.

Problem is, when you ask for a copy of your "signed contract" they will tell you they will put in a request for it and that takes 10 days to 14 days as it is off site somewhere. They can't tell you where it is.  Weeks and weeks will go by and when you call back over and over telling them you still have not received a copy they keep telling you to go out online and look at the contract on their web site. Folks, this is a scam by Dish Network. They can't produce a copy of your signed contract and since they cannot prove you agreed in writing to pay for the return of their equipment, you are not obligated to pay for it. We sent it back in the prepaid boxes just to get rid of the junk and outdated equipment so don't let them pull this one on you.

When we called back after 6 weeks of waiting, the last person, Adrian Estrada, at the executive offices of Dish Network ph: 720-514-8550 Ext. 80524 told us, it says right here in the notes "they cannot find a copy of your signed contract and as such, do not re-contract the customer."  If they cannot provide you with a signed copy, don't let them harass you into thinking you have to pay to return their equipment.  When they send you the pre-paid boxes, just send the junk back and leave it at that. If their collectors try to collect (harass) you, record the conversation and demand a signed copy of your contract that says you have to pay to return their equipment, it doesn't exist. That will shut them up.

Good luck.
