Hi, I would just like to let everyone know how Domestic Auto Experts work and treat their customers and employees. I will start by how they treat their customers. The service consultants only care about their profit, as they have to make at least $500 on every customer, as that is part of how they are ranked. The service consultants pick what they want to sell to the customer(what will make them the biggest sale in one) instead of letting the customer know of all the issues at once and letting the customer know about each one in detail and letting them decide which to do first. They use remanufactured parts and non oem parts as much as possible to keep their cost down, but you will still get charged top dollar. The techs that work on your car are not always ase certified like they tell you either. They have general service tech's do the work and they put a certified techs name on the ticket. That's a general overview on how the sc's work

Now on to how they treat their employee's. They tell lies upfront when in your interview. They make promises and break them. They can care less about you or your family. You will be told your staying late meaning you're supposed to be off at 6 and you will be there till 8,9,10 at night after being there from 6:30 in the morning. You will be told your wrong from a service consultant or manager who thinks they know what they're talking about when they don't.

Now on to my personal experience. I worked for them for around 4 months. When I was hired on I was told I would be transferred to the new shop that was to be finished built in a month as a tech making 18flag. A month passed and I asked what's going on and then I was told it will be 2 months till its done(oct 22 I was told), then few weeks later I was told oct 27th. Point being I was lied to. I started making 9 a hour which was nothing but I desperately needed a job and saw a future with the company being it looked and sounded like a great opportunity at the time. Then after receiving my first check for 2 weeks pay that was barely 500 I said this isn't working, they were having me do everything from removing and fixing transitions to cleaning the floors. I have 30k worth of tools and about 4 years experience being certified in the field. Then they came up with this raise/pay scale. It was if I worked 50 hours a week I get 500, 55 hours 550, less than 50 hours was back to 9 a hour basically, and no overtime regardless. And they were trying to work me 60 hours a week. And have me do everything. And pay me nothing. Then they had me go to the Katy store for 2 days a Friday and sat. and I was told I would get paid my hrly rate plus anything I flagged I would get paid for as well. I never got paid for the 13hrs I flagged. And to top it off the katy store wasn't even busy. I have emails sent back and forth from Management stating I would get paid for the 13 hours. That now I am filling will the labor department. Also each check there is 12 taken out for uniform fees. On my last check I got charged 30 dollars. Which after a few days of they trying to come up with a excuse on what the extra 18 was for they told me it was a charge that I was supposed to of gotten taken out of my first check for the uniforms. Which everyone else I talked to that works there never got that charge and in the paperwork that I signed it states only for the weekly fee to be taken out of my check not any other amount. Now for the state inspections they try and get you to pass vehicles that are not safe in the dps's eyes. Numerous times that a vehicle failed they would want it reinspected.

If anyone has any questions or would like to know more detail on a certain subject feel free to email me: (((ROR redacted)))

so the latest on friday the 17 a head manager called my current job stating to my boss directing this to me "you dont know who your messing with, I can take $8,000 and burry Jake." also stated that i posted slander. well an order for it to be slander it would have to be false information. in which i can back up everything i have stated in my article. so that makes it all facts not slander. also forgot on the 17th i got a password change request from just about all the places i posted this at... pretty interesting, the company found the postings on the 17th and someone tried to hack my accts on the 17th.....
