RUN, FRAUD - they sell junk!!! Was unfortunate enough to fall for these scammers when I purchased what was claimed to be a "nice boat, no problems, no corrosion..."
Fast forward to things like speedo, trim, gas gauge, depth finder not working. These scammers claim "those aren't necessary" SERIOUSLY? You sell cars without gas gauges, speedos, etc most likely. The two gauge that do work are all cracks and hazed impossible to even see.
Now this part is where my situation places some of the blame on me. I bought the boat after viewing pictures only and in speaking with them being told "great shape, no issues, no corrosion." The boat arrives with over 80 STRESS CRACKS! Never told and they sneakily took pictures so they didn't show up. Yes his pictures conveniently were taken from afar now I see so as to deceive. And he has the never to mention "there was even a video" - yeah taken of it running in a lake 500' away. Look at it it's on you tube and he uses this to claim that I should have seem the (he admits now) cracks from the video...from 500'. Pure dirt bag move. I only wish google reviews allowed the posting of pictures to show exactly what a wreck this boat is. Then I find out engine was removed and half the wires were never reconnected! Plus boat is suspiciously filled with sand and rot - perhaps a salvage/sunk??? Now not trusting it at all have mechanic show up and he says you were had (lower unit severely corroded). Every used boat will have an issue here and there and some corrosion but only DOSS MARINE used boats are salvage with everything INOP, are entirly stressed cracked throughout, and completely salt water corroded.
I should have known when this thing sat at his "business" forever - now I know why, it's salvage no one wanted.
Anyways tried working it out nicely and they did nothing and tell me I got a deal....yes on a junk boat for almost $20k that is worth $10k maybe. I simply asked for gauges that work and gel coat kit and basically told no way "cause you got a deal." No sir I got screwed and you are a bad dishonest business. Anyways buyer beware and thank goodness for the SC Court system.
