To Whom It may concern;
I would like to dispute this report and express our side of this story. This client had her wedding in a room that is filled with windows that over looks her cermony site. Which in turn means that if the room is not ready before the ceremony begins her guests would see our staff setting up. This client wanted her bouqets delievered to her at 2:30pm for photos. Our staff was their at 11:30 setting up the rececption only and brought her flowers to her as per her request. This client was on an extremly low budget that was adjusted several times to become lower. We clearly explained and spelled it out in her contract which she signed as she started lowering the price that roses would be added to her wedding to keep her costs down. The orginal qoute was $2800 with 60% flowers in orchids and the final qoute was $1200 clearly letting her know that we got to this number by using roses.
The client inspected and excepted all the flowers at 2:30 as per her request and no mention at anytime of any problems. As per her qoute We had plenty of time to change any issues if they were brought to our attention.
The banquet director at Deer Creek was aware that we had only set up the reception which was inside and we were comming back and we did come back at 5:30pm to set up the outside cermony becuase on that day the temputure was 82 degrees and was way to hot to be out all that time even though SHE requestd a 2:30 delivery
We have been in business for many years and our intention is to make all of our clients happy, this is showed threw our many awards including our 2010 knot.com best in weddings award and Best South Florida Florist 2009. To continue on my staff stayed until the cermony was over and moved all the flowers from the outside cermony into the reception.
Her wedding planner or the family made no mention of any problems while we were their. In investagting this matter we visited the country club to disguss this matter. The Catering director blaintly stated that what the client is saying in her statement is not true, she did not beg anyone to stay and knew at all times we were comming back to finish the job and why.
Our policy is to be paid in full two weeks before the wedding but this client could not pay us due to her financial situation until 3 days before the wedding which she paid in full in cash. Again strecthing our policies to accomdate her short commings.
After investagting further we have fiound that she owes many of the other vendors she hired for her wedding money, including the DJ and venue. Our policy states that if anything is wrong or not forfilled we issue a full refund. This client is looking for money back on her wedding that she is clearly not intiled to. She used all the flowers enjoyed all the flowers, took pictures with the flowers and used them for 5 hours during her wedding. If someone wants a refund thats usually done before you use the items not after you finish. So please review this and save our good name we have worked so hard and so long to establish.
