DRI Surplus & Supplier Account Shocker!!! Internet
This morning when I checked my checking account status, I was shocked. I signed up with DSI Shopper a while back. I was an unlucky victim who fell for this outrageous scam. I immediately found out what I had gotten myself into, so I canceled my account.
I did this through email...anyway, so I thought my account had been canceled, but I checked my account this morning and found a charge of 49.95. It had their number listed by the charge from " DSI Shopper " so I called them. This time, cancelling through phone.
The woman on the other end had a very thick accent. I could barely understand her, but I was very calm and patient with her. I didn't get angry as she tried to keep me as a "special customer" She was trying everything she could to make me agree to keep getting charged!
Anyway, I just politely declined all her offers and I would let her finish...I would never interrupt her. And I just let her know I have a real job now. I don't use this service and I'd just like to cancel my account. So, she did and she gave me a confirmation number. She told me the money had been refunded and that my account had been cancelled.
I hope that is the case... I hope I never get charged by this super scam company again. To all of you reading this report, please, you mustn't fall for these rediculous "work from home " scams. I know it's a tough economy and we all wish we could just make easy money, but it's not worth it.
I believe we all know deep down that we're getting ourselves involved in a scam when we fall for these "opportunities", but we don't care. We'd rather hold on to that false hope. Let's not do that, people. Let us be wise and smart and let's put these kind of companies out of business by no longer wasting our time chasing pie in the sky...
But rather, let's get out there....in the real world! In the land of opportunity where we can have,be,do, anything we want! We are the creators of our own reality! Let's get out there and get a REAL job with real pay! Chase the American dream. Not some internet scam. As a 22 year old with my whole life ahead of me, this is what I have learned. I am no longer sitting on my a*s chasing "sky pie " no...I am better than that.
