Drive Time ,Drive Time Rip Off Kissimmee Florida
My girlfriend had bought a 200 mitsubhisi galant from the kissimme drive time about 1 year, she gave 3400 bucks in down payment and her 2001 pontiac gran am as a trade in when she bought the car. chris the manger at this location told her and promise her that the vehicle was in top shape never been in a wreck and that the car has pass. i dont know how many point inspection and the car was ready to go.
well 6 months into having this car the check engine light came on. we call the dealership and of course after 1 hr of getting transfer around this chris guy gets on the phone and asked a bunch of stupid a** questions and his main concern was trying to find out if the vehicle had pass the warrenty they give you when you buy a car at drive time. he kepy asking what was the cars millage and how long we had it,
well when chris figure out that the vehicle did was still under his warrenty he sent us to this run down shop on e 192. it was a tire shop. when we get there the manger to this location was really rude and didnt care that we had a problem with our car. after wiating there 2 hrs he omes back and send us to the dearlship cuase we had to talk to chris,
well when we get there chris tell us that our perfect conditon no problem no hassel 2004 mitsubhisi galant had the catlitic convert bad and that there warrenty dont cover it and if the vehicle has less that 80,000 miles on it mitsubhishi will replace it. well guess what our car had over 80,000 miles on it and mitshbusi wont cover it, chris told us that there is nothing he could do that we were on our own and that the part alone cost 2,500 bucks.
Now at this time it took everything i had not to reach over this little s**t desk and knock him out but i did and left piss off wondering how can the goverment let these dearlships get away with this. how can the goverment let this dearlship rip people off it's not like they dont know about it.
if anyone out there knows if there is anything i can do please let me know. right now the car is not even 2 years old and it' about to break down. we have tryed and call drive time but no luck there no let you be late with a payment and you see how fast they are calling you and your referance saying you are late with it and its only been 1 day. anyways if any can help let me know.
