Dupure They sold me a Water Softener system then installed a water filter system . Houston Texas
I purchased a water softener system for my house. I was so convinced it was sold to me that it ran for almost 3 years. Once we had one issue with the unit we called support and a neighbor friend was a tech for these water companies and told me we do not have a water softener. I then said no way and showed him the sales order and said this is a water softener. He told me to call out Dupure tech to have him prove to me it was no water softener so I did.
Sure enough, the Dupure tech said " Sorry this is not a water softener in fact it is only a water filter and does nothing to treat the softness of the water. I was upset. I called the company and asked for a manager or someone in charge but got 1 week of emails saying they are informed and will call me. It was not until I sent an email saying I will report them that they called me. AND boy was he hostile. Kept saying he knows I was lied to and they will give me 500 towards a water softener system or upgrade my existing to soften the water for 1,500.00. I was shocked. I paid 2900.00 for a water softener that today would be a lot.
I am not going to be robbed this way. I paid for a water softener and should not be forced to pay again.
