 wow the complaints are coming in on Sakkarra/Dyann Callahan.  I urge people to stand up and fight if you have gotten ripped off by this Breeder!  I cant be the only one to stand up and fight!  Dyann Callahan is in my opinion a sleezy breeder and a conartist. Not a woman of value or of her word.

I am now tracking the ip address for the so called legal aid person who wrote on this site.  If it is Dyann Callahan I will prosicute her and so will ky legal aid the real one.

Sherri has been our groomer for a year and a half. We were referred to her by numerous area locals, many of whom have been customers of Sherris for over a decade. We will not take our beloved bichon frise, Chaco to anyone else EVER. Our experience, which is confirmed by friends, customers, other breeders, and veterinary professionals in this area, is that Sherri Blaines reputation is beyond reproach. Her home, and attached salon is a loving, caring environment in which dogs thrive. We have never encountered a stressed out, or upset animal at her salon. Sherri is a consummate professional, whose knowledge and expertise are eclipsed only by her artistry in grooming.

I take it as a personal affront that the libelous, hysterical rantings of Mrs. Callahan , and  the illiterate, legally inept attack by this self-proclaimed  Ky Legal Aide Dept have in any way affected Sherri Blaine. Personally, I would track down this irresponsible, libelous Ky Legal Aide Dept individual and seek injunctive relief and damages for her continuing illegal actions.

For all of you who read this and believe a word of what Dyann is saying, I suppose ignorance is bliss. I am a former Colorado State Police Officer and currently a Police Officer for the State of Texas. Integrity and character are the first two words that come to mind when I think of Sherri Blain. I was employed with Sherri from the time I was 15 until I went to college and then into Law Enforcement. I personally deal with liars and people seeking negative attention on a daily basis and Dyann takes first place in my experience. On my own time while I was an Officer in Colorado I did some investigation into the claims that Dyann had made against Sherri on my own time and seperate from the actual investigation filed with the City Of Longmont. Needless to say it was all falsified and fabricated in an attempt to badger Sherri's excellent reputation and ethical standards. Clearly Dyann is vindictive for what appears to be no more reason than to entertain herself. This however has caused Sherri NO repercusions in regard to her relatioship with customers in the present or past and simply vindicates her status as an excellent, responsible and conciencious breeder. The fact that Sherri has 50 dogs is nonetheless ridiculous to claim that she is a "puppy miller." First of all she doesn't have 50 dogs. And if she did they all would be the envy of most dogs in the country, as Sherri is so devoted to raising all of her dogs in pristine conditions and most importantly a loving and wonderful enviornment. I was present as an employee from the time she only had one dog to the time she had almost 25. During that time of 5 years she carefully and diligently collected only the top quality dogs for personal enjoyment and some for betterment of species breeding. Many of her dogs are spayed or nuetered and kept solely as pets. (It's sad to me that she ever encountered a breeder such as Dyann who portrays such low moral standards and flagrent dishonesty). It's simple to me, the facts and evidence show a different story than what Dyann is stating. That points to only one clear ending to this story. She has falsified information and acted as a liason for a stream of injust and outrageous lies against Sherri Blain. In conclusion, for all of you reading this....I hope that you seriously review facts before coming to any conclusion other than complete trust in the business practices of Sherri Blain. Even as a former employee if the facts and evidence did not point to Dyann being undoubtedly and unequivically wrong, and clearly acting in the capacity of a blatent liar; I would not state what I have. I do hope that Dyann changes her ways as to not destroy her own reputation and that of all breeders.

Over the past year or so I have purchased puppies from Sherri for myself or as gifts. I have Never had a negative issue with any of the puppies, with sherri or her process. She is a responsible breeder who cares about her puppies and where they go. I have been to her home several times and the only "pig" I know of there is her pet pot belly pig that lives in the back yard! Her house has never been filthy or otherwise. The puppies are always very clean, well fed and happy! So as for any negative information I have read; In my opinion it's all bunk. Sounds like a retaliation for a deal gone bad and not from Sherri's end!

I contacted Dyann from Sakkarra off of Puppyfinders.com and from there went to Her website. Inquiring about one of the puppies she had or future puppies she would have. Dyann was one of the ruddiest people I have ever dealt with. Dyann needs to learn some manners in dealing with her potentional customers! Ironic I goggled her kennel name and came up with this report. Thank god I took my business else where.

I have followed along this as I am a legal aide and have helped on Dyann's side to retrieve the property that belonged to her and help with legal advice per KY law in relations to this ongoing situation. I fully believe Dyann was targeted as a victim and am VERY glad to see Sherri Blain Dtails is out of business and no longer dealing puppies, victiming unsuspecting breeders and blackening their name. Dyann Callahan's dogs are out being shown and doping well while this scammer was shut down- THAT should say it all! No business or breeder would ship a dog while the buyer just got its ownership in its name hours before THEN files a refund. With a refund in progress- WHO would ship the item? the dog was a pet supposed to go to a pet home..not a dealer who was dishonest in representing herself to scam breeders. no shipping was paid, or any fees to ship - Dyann was to guarantee it. Dyann notified her June 08, as I wrote the papers, if she returned the ownership papers of Beijing as a refund was in progress- she would refund. THE REASON PAYPAL ISSUED MONEY BACK AND NOT DYANN IS THAT SHERRI BLAIN KEPT DYANNS PROPERTY(DOGS OWNERSHIP PAPERS) FROM APRIL O7 TO JULY 08 WHEN JILL Z -AKC CASE MANAGER-REPOSSESSED BEIJINGS PAPERS AND GRANTED THEM TO DYANN!! DYANN RENAMED HER SAKKARRA THATS WHAT I THOUGHT IN AUGUST 08. AKC HAD TO TAKE THE PAPERS FROM SHERRI AS WITH MONEY BACK 6 MONTHS PRIOR AND ANOTHER DOG , SHERRI STILL WOULDNT SEND THE PAPERS FROM THE PAYPAL TRANSACTION. Dyann did send a dog at Sherri's request to try and make peace as she was falsely told that Sherri would cease contact, SHOW HIM, and print a RETRACTION STATEMENT ON HERE. THAT WAS A LIE. SHE NOTARIZED IT! ALSO, no mention of Justices "quality" was mentioned until he was over 5 months, 2 WEEKS after his papers were signed over. Sherri wrote dyann when she advertised a litter, to get another I am SURE, and asked her what "she was going to do about it". This person never has set foot in the ring and was selling "designer" mixed breeds...and Dyann thought it was a peace offering..but no... she was just trying to get something else FREE in my opinion. At 6 months she never taped his ears INSURING HE COULDNT BE SHOWN, AND BLAMES DYANN AND SLANDERS HER KENNEL MORE SAYING HE WASNT SHOW QUALITY. HE A BEAUTIFUL DOG ADN RUINED BY HER OUT OF SPITE AND LAZINESS. Look above at the contract, I dont think it mentions anything but health and it sure conflicts with the claim of paying "2200" for him. I see that Sherri Blain has a free quality dog, money back on pet she purchased..and shows her level of class in her ranting statements. Dyann herself has been harrassed up until oct 2008...months AFTER a signed notarized statement to cease and desist, so much she had to file a police report on harrassment and threats with CO case 2008-11262 order of restraint. Thats why she has tried and take the high road and not responded to the verbal abuse and harrassing on this forum, but I know her professionally and hate this trash kept going on and on as she has gotten away with it! Dyann tried to do what was right, but was a victim of internet scamming- it started as she wouldnt ship a puppy as a refund was put in progress after she signed over its ownership- all the same day!! A licensed dealer had said she owned 3 dogs to scam her...every breeders nightmare. Sherri Blain KEPT the dogs ownership papers a YEAR saying she was ripped off, until AKC TOOK them back, the whole reason Sherri wouldnt ask the judge for monies on the pet- she had the property from the transaction STILL and had her money back! I am sorry but Dyann shouldnt have been victimized like this, as some bit of trash thought she could take advantage and did, let it show you how to protect yourself from Internet scammers. well after being in the hospital twice since jan 14th due to heart complications after surgery and the dr telling me not to go into a highly stressful situation- it wasnt worth it and the only reason he ruled as he did is because the dr gave me the restrictions thursday and they say it was "untimely filed"...it wasnt the facts of case but the filing- it just wasnt worth risking a heart attack over..and is able to be appealed due to that.

Well the court case is finally over and now Mrs Dyann Callahan has a judgement against her for $2100.00. I will post the documents as soon as possible. Now people will see who is right in this case. All I did is purchase a chinese crested puppy from Dyann Callahan know as Sakkarra in turn got ripped off, had my business slandered and have been harrassed for 7month. Dyann(Sakkarra) and I have had 4 court dates of which none of them Dyann has showed for. I have showed for them all. If this has happen to you dont give up persue the person in court (dosnt matter if there in your state) let a judge decide! Dont slander someones good name! Sherri Blain bought a puppy from me and on the same day she took ownership, applied for a refund through her credit card and look up other ripoff report listings for details..and has went as far to sue me for the price of the puppy while keeping the puppy in her name claiming i wont send it even though shipping, vet expenses or the full amount of the dog werent paid for..which makes her sound like a victim that was ripped off... well after sept 7th getting court papers for a refund the amount of the dog and going through a month of mediation and threats from her..turns out she got a refund way back in july..the same amount she is sueing for. in my opinion thats very illegal to go to court and file a suit to get reimbursed when you have already been reimbursed meanwhile maintaining full ownership of the dog/property..it wouldnt be too bad if she provided in anyway shape or form for teh well being of the dog- but no thats left up to me. Dont be a fool and ever sign over your papers on your property even when it seems all parties agree. I went into this as she claimed to have 3 dogs and turns out its 35 adults plus serveral litters ALL IN A HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!how can that be clean or sanitary or even good for the dogs??? no pens or runs are outside per the Longmont Human Society, all are in the house within city limits. I asked to see what enviroment my dog might have been in. She claims this would have been a loving home...when she is constantly outputting puppies for profit and chinese cresteds run 900-2500 you can see the motivation of WHY she is collecting dogs from unsuspecting people. I have sold a total of 3 dogs in 4 years and test all our dogs- something Ms Blain does not and she sells 3-4 times that a month mixing breeds and calling them rare. On her site in my opinion the dogs looke dto be suffering from over crowding and poor care..the Longmont Animal Control said they were "well aware" of her and documented complaints when I just called to inquire if having this many dogs inside a residence was legal- besides inhumane in my opinion. I doubt its zoned for animals or waste disposal since shes running a business or even if the IRS knows of the thousands of dollars they arent getting taxes on per month! Can you sue for a refund you admit to already having??? as soon as she got my dog in her name by akc papers as owner she filed two refunds, got one, and while holding my ownership papers 4 months- sues for another!!! I have read all the comments that Ms Callahan has made against Sherri **** and I am left wondering where she gets her information from. I can't help feeling that so much of this information is just made up and over exagerated. I have sold puppies to Sherri and I have purchased puppies from Sherri without any complaints whatsoever. We were actually bussines partners for almost two years, and I must say she is one of the most honest people I have ever met. She conducts her bussiness with integrity and compassion. After splitting our bussiness relationship we continue to be close, work together and help each other in anyway we can. I have been in Sherri's house many many times, and I even have a key to let myself in at any given time. Serri most definatley does not run a puppy mill or are her puppies, or adult dogs mistreated in anyway shape or form. I don't know all the particulars in this situation as I am not one of the two parties involved. I have, however, done business with Sherri Bain, have been to her home and would like to share my experience with all of you. Sherri does NOT have a puppy mill. All her puppies, dogs and other animals live in her home harmoniously. She has found her calling!!! Her calling is as a great breeder. I have not ever seen a better breeder who cares more about every animal she sells, as well as the abanded dogs she has taken in and found homes for. Let me explain Sherri's place a bit, all the pups and parents all cohabitate together. They have their own respective homes (like beds, etc.) that they sleep in and find quiet time in; however, the rest of the time they socialize, play, interact with each other and with Sherri. Sherri works out of her home grooming dogs as well. So, she is home all day every day. I've called her at 5 a.m. to leave her a voice mail about a pup and she was already up and feeding the babies. She gives attention to each and every animal she has. I have never seen puppies with better personalities or more well socialized then Sherri's babies!!! She is also extremely particular about who adopts her babies. She interviews people and families. She will not sell someone a puppy she does not believe can or will take care of it. She keeps in touch with people who purchase from her. Often people purchase more than one as her puppies are GREAT!!! I am one of the lucky ones she sold a puppy to and I went back and bought a second. I have referred her everyone I know and will continue to do so. She has always been ethical and honest in any dealings I have had with her. I do believe her if she says she purchased the pup and did not receive it. So, my advice to the person Sherri tried to purchase the pup from is refund the money and move on. Don't try to defame others in the process and do not speak of puppy mills unless you have seen it for yourself.

Dyann Callahan says she will charge me $37.50 for a dog she refuses to ship and that i paid for in full (except shipping was to be paid at airport) She is not a kennel she dosnt have a license to board dogs or to breed dogs! I was willing to pay the shipping but Dyann Callahan refuses to ship my puppy. Now she writes untrue things about me and my business which she knows nothing about. She calls me a theif but who really got the raw end of this deal????????? I got nothing No puppy No refund. Mrs. Callahan has told so many things that are untrue she cant keep her story straight. I have many many many e-mails to prove this. I will take her to court and stand up for every person that has been done wrong by a breeder! There are alot of good breeders out there i just happen to end up with a person that is not honest. Mrs Callahan claims she isnt even a breeder but has many websites selling her puppys. STAY CLEAR OF THIS ONE

I would like to address the deferred payment complaint that was TRIED against my account by Sherri in regards to her May 18th payment. As the payment states on it- it was a deposit /payment for a puppy named Bunny. She was too young at the time but that was a deposit/payment in good faith to hold the puppy(originally 900.00- but 700 plus 45 fees sent by Sherri). We did have some issues as Sherri misrepresented herself to me as I asked her in an email how many dogs she had and expressed I did NOT want her going to a overdogged and crowded home, Sherri replied in an email she had 2 cresteds and 1 chihauhau that was "too small to breed". The reason I asked this as most chinese cresteds sell for 1800+ and especially since this puppy was a female, I didnt want her sent to a puppy mill to be bred to death. She had a flaw, no tail, and I just asked a pet price as she was to be a pet. Well turns out Sherri has over 35+ dogs PLUS 3 litters since we talked of it, so about 50. I didnt want to renege on my agreement and against my better judgement agreed to go through with the transaction- even though this was a blatant lie to get my property the future foretells. Since it is summer and airlines have heat concerns and embargos in effect except for very few flights it has been a safety issue with strict airline guidelines and paperwork with Ms Blains schedule and mine, the past 3 weeks have been VERY difficult and 3 times due to paperwork the airline has NOT allowed me to send the puppy. BUT Sherri never sent shipping, vet fees for airline paperwork, or a shipping crate. I have emails where she offered money for shots and rabies and boarding so I knew I could just bill her. THATS not the main problem as to why I am contacting you. Sherri set up a flight herself that we both agreed on for Sat July 7th, 2007 TODAY. Cargo DELTA # 1-888-736-3738 flight 6302 leaves ky at 7:10am connecting flight in cinni to denver arrives at 10:28a.mRef # 05788532 under SHERRI -- Everything was set for today indicating she wanted the dog, monies back were never mentioned as she claimed to want the dog and no REASON to get money back if she got the dog. With temps so high and our schedules and the strict Airline paperwork this was a reschedule but for all parties and agreements in emials and on the phone- we all agreed on the dog shipping sat july 7th. After this agreement I called Sherri and we both got on the computer and I transferred ownership to Ms Blain of my dog through AKC.org in full as she led me to believe we all were agreed on the flight she set up and it was the following morning on the 6th of July- the night before the flight. AKC transaction 2007070600700 through akc.org of legal transfer of ownership of my property to Sherri of her May 18th purchase using paypal. This was after buisness hours. So I log into my business email as my Paypal is through that email even though my main email for dogs is [email protected] it helps keep the business emial clear of pictures etc. AFTER booking a flight and confirming the agreement of shipping of the puppy Bunny on a flight she set up for July 7th, and AFTER I in good faith signed over rights to my property and she ACCEPTED the ownership she goes through Paypal and files a dispute, or tries to, to recover her payment. SHE CLAIMS HER BOYFRIEND "KING SNAKE" broke into her account and filed against me without her knowledge. His real name is Dante Xavier King BTW. Iw ant to wait one working day to alert paypal as this leaves a record when a claim is filed. BUT 48 hours later- sunday- she files AGAIN through her credit card company- REFUND #2....and is trying to buffalo me into sending money also! A refund was granted but she wont sign over wonership so of course no monies have been transferred. She called her local Police station and lied to them and didnt admit she got a refund, they will testify in court. Meanwhile she has abandoned this poor puppy and she sits here now 4 months old(bought at 4 WEEKS) as she hasnt provided any shipping or shipping costs or even money to feed her. Buyers pay expenses to ship period and the FULL price...check the number above..she pulled this with 3other people and after getting the dogs filed for refunds and got the money AND dogs and puppymills them out...no one they are sick and dying. I am sure with the financial institute recordsa nd actual documents of her filing a refund as soon as she got ownership of the dog will come to play. She was notified to finish paying for the doga nd ship her or sign her back over..if a dog that is not in my name and owned by false means as is this case is- its 37.00 a day boradinga nd this is since july 6th- the date she filed a refund as well as taking the dog in her name.
