East Coast Asphalt Mike Hoose The worst service ever, If you like four letter words, and being forgotten this company is for you Worcester Internet, Massachusetts
To try to make a long story short, Mike Hoose SR came door knocking looking for business. Said he did a job up the street and had left over materials and could do a discount price. My wife fell for it, said he kept apologizing for not being organized because his wife did all the paper work and now shes dead. She felt bad for the hard luck story, wether its true I dont know. Gave this big description of drains, digging here and there, running a pipe for a drain, and on and on. When the job was done, they scraped the edges, roughed up the middle, and put down new asphalt. I thought, OK he does this for a living I must be overreacting. I told him we get a lot of deep puddles and aren't they going to come back? "No, no, no, I'm giving you a no puddle guarantee".
So a few weeks later, holes came back, tire marks from sinking showed up, rocks coming loose and the spots where puddles were before started gathering water for puddles started showing up. I called 17 different times. That was a 1 with a 7, 17 times before I got him on the phone. I called from a different number and he told me to "stop harping on it, I fix the #$@$ driveway." Then he told me had call me later to get my address, he was going to the dentist. He never called. I filed a complaint with the BBB, the son replied saying he was the owner and this was the first he heard of it. He never answered the phone , called back or returned email.
The driveway is worse than before. I saw them do a job a few streets over and called. Mike answered and was so proud of himself having a job to do. After I told him who I was his attitude changed, I said you never came to look at this. His response was"I did, you just dont know it" Now, that is a strange reply. Why would he stop by, not fix it and admit I just dont know it. Then goes on to tell me your the f house at the s this and f that. He never came back, or maybe he did and I dont know it.
If he comes to your door, pass up the deal. Weather he was telling himself a joke or what he meant by the last comment about how he came by, I just didn't know it, there have been break ins in the neighborhood and I wouldn't trust him or put it past him. Why do you tell someone I did stop by but you just dont know it? There website has 3 addresses, there all multi family homes and nobody proof read there site. Now they offer all sorts of other service, roof driveway everything in between. Dont let them in your house. You will regret it.

It is most likely the same company. They do such bad work and have many complaints with the BBB they may have changed names to start fresh and claim to be a different company. If its Mike Hoose, or Jr, its them. Just read their responses to complaints, The first I heard, I wasnt' aware of a problem, etc. Same excuse every time.

I don't know if these two companies are one in the same but your East Coast Asphalt review sounds very similiar to our East Coast Paving experience. A few other similarities while researching this company is the Man,Wife and Son involved in it which is the same as East Coast Paving. I seem to have found other companies that have names similiar to to REAL CREDIBLE COMPANIES but seem to have the same kind of negative the reviews are similar in different states. Different names but seems to be the same circle of people from what I've found. More information about this company would be needed to further investigate it.
