Eastern Automotive Group ripoff Arlington Virginia
I purchased a 1998 Cadillac Catera in July of 2003 and by September 2003 I had some overheating problems with the car. I immediately went to a cadillac dealer and was told that I was going to have a head gasket blow and would have to purchase a new engine. I only had the car 1 solid month going on a second month and would have to dish out $2,000 for a car I just got.
I was reassured by Eastern Automotive that the car had been serviced and it was a good buy. I was still covered under the 18,000 lemon law. I reported them to the Virginia Consumer affairs office and better business bureau. Eastern Automotive would never respond to their calls or inquiries through the mail. I stuck paying for a car that I did not damage and can't afford to replace the engine at this time and can't even trade it back into Eastern Automotive. No one would help me and it's not fair.

honestly that sucks, but i know for a fact that every car goes through a 110-point inspection, and yes, that can happen to anyone, your not alone. actually, eastern motors is getting rid of people like that in the past year or so. also you should have bought a warranty, it really pays to get one

Just wanted to let you know to submit this under Eastern Motors that way all the complaints are under one headng & it also makes a much stronger case when there is a long consistent list. Again, file under Eastern Motors - there is already 11 different cases.
