I have been a loyal seller on Ebay for over 3 years and today they suspended me for no reason! I have over 2080 great feedbacks with 99.9% possitive! My ebay id is videos_galore. Everyone can see for they're selves. For the past few months I haven't been making much on Ebay because of all the changes on ebay, people can't find my stuff anymore so I have basically been supporting Ebay with the sellers fees. So they should be greatful! They have been making more money than i have!

All I want to know is why I was suspended. They will not answer me. PLUS I keep getting spoof mail and I can't tell which is from Ebay and what isn't so i don't open any of it except for the last 2 saying I was suspended...

If anyone from Ebay monitors this please contact me. (Like they care)

Also, if anyone knows of a good place to sell from that i do not have to support the website please let me know..

Thanks

Becca

yeah you can list on Yahoo! Auctions

If you dont mind not selling a thing that is. Case in point. I listed 20 items for auction on ebay ( mind you, these are items that I sell regularly ) . I listed the same 20 items for auction on Yahoo! Not one sold on Yahoo! I sold all 20 on ebay. Yeah, Yahoo! is good for those who wish to hang onto inventory and not moving them. Ebay is a good venue, yahoo are for those who dont mind selling something once a month (if that). Suggest Amazon.com auctions before I would reccommend Yahoo!

Hi Becca I understand your troubles. I wanted to let you know, as someone else suggested, yahoo has auctions now, but I wanted to add that they are FREE FREE FREE! No listing fees, no final value fees, and they will automatically relist your item if it doesn't sell. (at least last time I looked about 2 mos ago) Good luck to you, and don't mind the crazy people!

I say to you Get behind me Satan! You are too deluded to see your own hypocrisy. Thank God for allowing this to happen to you. What possible contribution can some of the s**t you sell make? Think about it honestly. You talk out of both sides of your mouth. A double minded person is unstable in all their ways... Love,

I am a customer of yours probably been a year or two but I ordered I think 2 or 3 movies from you and recieved them very fast. I was completely satisfied by your service and would like to thank you. My suggestion is have you ever thought about selling on Amazon.com? I used to order 2 and 3 things from ebay weekly until I started shopping Amazon for new and used items. I love Amazon.com now I faithfully order from them. I know they dont have bidding, but you can sell items. If you are more into the bidding part of your selling Yahoo has a auction site now and browsing it the other day, its not too bad. You can tell it's still no where near as popular as ebay but its starting to climb. Just some suggestions for ya!!! An old happy customer of yours,

It is ignorant people like you that makes things bad all over, KISS is not evil, they are just a rock band and I myself think people killing other people in gaves is evil. Not when you are playing a game and shoot evil creatures is NOT EVIL! Ebay does not need dumb, vindictive people like YOU.. That is what I had a problem with, I found out it was someone else and not Ebay so I appologise for all this.. I did not know how to contact them and get this straightened out, but there has been a lot of nice people (except you) that have helped me in a lot of ways and I thank THEM.
Also, it is Videos Galore..... God Bless... not the other way! What is your ebay id by the way Jack?

I cut and paste this out off of one of your ebay items:

"KISS Psycho Circus: The Nightmare Child is a demonic world of mystery and horror, where the player must battle the hideous freaks-of-nature spawned by the conception of an unborn evil- the Nightmare Child."

But then I notice that you have a nice Christian cross with the words "God Bless Videos Galore"

So, then, my question is, why do you sell this stuff if you are advertising a Christian cross? Aren't the two opposed to each other? What gives with your phoniness? Either represent God or the devil.....I think that Ebay is better off without you. I can't stand people like you. Hypocrites.

just my 2 cents...

For all we know folks the spoof emails are coming from Ebay and PayPal themselves some of the time.
Also if you really want to know if an email is not from http://Ebay.com than run your mouse's arrow over the link than look at the bar at the bottom of your screen and there you will see the web address of the link.

Another way is to right click on the link than copy shortcut. Open a browser and right click again to paste that shortcut to the browser or even into a notepad and than you will see the web address and you can see it is not from http://ebay.com

When shill bidding make sure you do not use the same computer and it is connected to a router that will assign IP's automatically or use a software that will change your IP address. Better yet use aol as everytime you log on it will be under a different IP. Make sure that before you change to a different ebay username you log off from aol completely and log on again. It would also be better if you just log off than sign on again under a different aol username.

Ebay most likely sell themselves under lots of different user ID's so how can you compete? They do not have to pay any fees at all plus can feature evey item when you have to pay $20. I also wouldn't doubt that they buy from smaller sellers than turn around and make a claim with PayPal which is one in the same. If this was actually true who do you think PayPal is going to favor even if the seller proves that the item was shipped. Ofcourse the buyer and than they turn around and sell this item for way cheap. Again, how can you compete?

I think this way simply because even if you bought direct from China in bulk at the best price found you always some how find someone who is selling the very same thing for way less. HOW?

Ebay is very powerful now a days and they are sitting in the Captain Chair driving this vessel. Now ask yourself a question, if you were the owner wouldn't you sell as well specially if the demand to make more money was arised. They did become public, entering a whole new ball game and now they're dealing with Corporate America at it's best, along side WalStreet. They have investors who's investments have to be ackowledge not because they care but because they want to lure more into the mix.

Shares cannot drop in value because if it did than investors would soon start selling them. Why you think all these fees have sky rocketed? Ebay may not be entirely at fault since they were con into becoming public by the true Thieves that run our economy. But the way I see it is like this what goes around comes around. PayPal weren't always owned by Ebay and I believe they were muscle by all these law suits a few years ago into selling to Ebay. Funny how Ebay saw something PayPal couldn't see.

How can a company take on all the problems that had arise for PayPal? Even back than before Ebay became public they too had their problems. Remember even the FBI was monitoring Ebay? Now you do not hear that kind of talk anymore, WHY?

Mafia, Goverment to me has always been one in the same. Money talks and BS walks, therefore Ebay has become bigger than you think due to a lot of funny things that have been happening since the beginning of Ebay's changes. Why does the Goverment call Mafia "Wise Guys"? Simple, because they are immitating the Goverment itself.

Ever heard the saying, "If you can't beat them, join them. The Mafia was too well organize and you mean to tell me we got rid of them. Non-sence, The Goverment joined the Mafia and to me that's Corporate America today, "The American" Mafia.

Don't be the next one to come up with a great idea because you will be muscle out like Ebay and PayPal. I don't deal with either entities as I know that in the end the only one making money is them along with the Goverment. If you do you enslave yourself to long hours of work and little money. Hey, but atleast you still the BOSS!

Soon Ebay and PayPal will become a thing of the past and will have to file bankrupcy as back in the early days when Mafia exhausted all resources from any given opportunity (like Arab Countries with their oil) they turn around and light a match. Modern day Mafia/Slavery. That's why we went to war folks so this is bigger than you & me.

In the end the rich still gets richer and the poor gets poorer. Watch the movie Siriana and let's understand our Goverment a bit more and who really runs it.

Annie....... I looked in the messages yesterday and it says someone apparently told them my user information was not correct but it is all correct and it has been for 3+ years... it has been the same..... Nothing i can do about it I sent 3 messages to them yesterday and 5 today.... NO RESPONSE. Thus my point THEY DON'T CARE and something needs to be done about it before someone else gets kicked off for no reason! I am disabled and that was the only other way i could get money for my medicines, gas for getting to the doctors etc... So now my family and i are going to suffer because of this!
HAPPY NOW ANNIE???
*****DAVID***** Thank you for the advise.. Hope it works... Sorry for not saying thank you earlier.. didn't mean to offend you or your friend Annie.....

Becca Do You Want To Clear Up Your EBay Problem Or Just Complain?

#14Consumer Suggestion

Mon, November 28, 2005

Becca,

I guess I'm just curious. Do you want to clear up your eBay problem or just complain?

David in Oklahoma gave you some very good information on how to clear this issue up, yet you don't seem to want to address them. You never even acknowledged his post. You just want to yell and shout and complain and not do anything about your situation.

You mention in your last post, "If it is not constructive and of some use don't bother me please," but I haven't seen you respond to David's reply. He has some very good guidance...i.e. your reason for suspension will be in your "MyeBay" messages, **plus** spoof emails cannot log themselves into your "My Messages" section of "My eBay."

One way or the other Becca. Which is it?

Dear Steve... Thank you, that's my point... For as much as Ebay makes they should tend to thier clients and not go around suspending everyone on a whim.. I am trying to get across to Ebay to let them know they are making a big mistake and from what i hear I'm not the only one they are doing this to...

Ebay cust svc and spoof emails terrible customer support

#17Consumer Suggestion

Sun, November 27, 2005

You don't even have to rely on the emails, spoof or not. Anything sent to your email will also be on your 'my ebay' page. And as noted spoof emails are very obvious even to a new computer user, but with 3 years being an ebay seller this should not even be an issue for you.

Ebay does have terrible customer support, and the email response turn around times are usually about 3 business days average, in my experience. They are also scanned by a computer and a generic reply sent the first time. A human very rarely even sees your first email.

There is no excuse for a company the size of Ebay/Paypal to not have real live customer support available. NO excuse.

Good luck

If you've been with ebay for 3 years then you should know that all real ebay emails have your first and last name on the email. Otherwise it's a spoof and you can send it to [email protected] and they will take care of it.

It's easy to tell the spoof emails from the real ones.........

#20Consumer Comment

Sun, November 27, 2005

Spoofs begin with something like "Dear Ebay member", whereas real emails from ebay will have your username at the beginning. Paypal spoofs and all the rest will be the same way. If it doesn't call you by name at the beginning of the email, it's a spoof. If you actually read the spoofs, it's fairly easy to tell most of the time that it's written by someone that doesn't have a very good command of the English language.

I don't understand ebay not telling you why you are suspended. They may be slow and take a few days but they always answer. There are many reasons you could be suspended.

By the way, there are many ebayers that don't agree with people that leave "mutual" feedback. If I try to work it out with a buyer or seller and things never get worked out, I will leave appropriate feedback. Having a buyer or seller that leaves the same feedback as I leave with no good reason for it is not leaving feedback in the spirit that ebay is trying to achieve.
ebay states this several times in overview on feedback. If I use Square Trade in an attempt to resolve a valid issue and it doesn't get resolved, I will leave appropriate feedback.
A buyer or seller leaving me the same feedback I left with no valid reason is leaving retaliatory feedback and ebay frowns on that.
