I had been looking for a way to make money at home like most and had gone onto the EDC Gold website and enter my information. Soon after that I was contacted by another member (Pat Keeley) who was calling on behalf of Robert Probst a mentor for EDC Gold to give me more information about EDC and the opportunity they where offering. I knew from being in business many years that Mr. Keeley was new and couldn't answer most of my questions, so he said Robert Probst would be calling me soon. Robert Probst did call and so started my nightmare, this man is a smooth talker and knows how to paint a pretty picture and tells you he is going to take you under his wing and make you vwey wealthy. The opertive words here is "take you". He conviced me to join him and he would pay my way to become immediately a gold diamond level member( as high as you get to start) and we agreed he would take $150.00 a month for the next 4 months and he would train me and I would start making money fast. He said he would contact me to set a schedule before any moneies where taken so I would know in advance and be perpared for it. During this so called training he kept trying to get me to join other business he had also started and wanted me to multi stream with him. It was confussing, I didn't know what was going on or what I was working on or with. Then the nightmare happened, I never recieved a call about when the money was being taken and he caused several checks to bounce. I called him and was very mad at his unprofessionalism and he appoligized and said because of his mistake he would not take the last payment because he did wrong. I agreed to this but that is when the distance started to occur and He wasn't in touch with me and the training stopped. Well guess what happened the 4thy month came and he took the last payment anyway and if it hadn't been for me expecting something wrong I caught it be fore checks bonced again. I tired to contact him several time trough e-mials and called and leave messages and no response. I then called Pat Keeley the first guy that called me for Robert Probst and learned he too had lost a few thousand dollars that had been taken out of his account. As a result of this mr. Keeley told me his wife left him because they lost everything. Do Not do any kind of business with any of these people or their company they are thefts and cons they lie to you and then steal and rob you. If you are a truely an honest man Craig Garcia then return to me every dime you took from me. I did decide not to do anything after I was cheated because of no contact, so I did not even try to work it anymore. Stand up and be a man and do the right thing, give those you cheated back their losses. I will take this as far as I have to take it, and intend to contact the state attorneys office in both states to achieve prosecution. If you are in business honesty and integrity is how you should conduct yourself. If any of you have also been cheated by these people plaese contact your state attorney in your state. Craig Garcia, co founder here.... Bob, I am very sorry about your experience here...It sounds out of the ordinary for many reasons....I will only talk about the facts.... 1. Your account was created Oct 13, 2007 over a year ago. 2. You continued to be a member of EDC until May 27, 2008...almost 7 months 3. You write this rip off report on October 24, 2008. a year after joining and 5 months after quitting. Bob, I am sorry, but I don't remember you...I have no idea if we have ever spoke. We've about 250,000 members in EDC and I can't know all of them, however, my email and phone numbers are on the site. So if you really did have a problem, you might have been better off calling me or getting me involved. Now, at the time of your enrollment, the Gold program was $997 (to be paid directly to the independent rep) and $44.95 per month to the company. You claim yourself that you only paid 4 payments of $150...That only adds up to $600.00. It seems that you owe the independent Rep, Robert Probst another $397... I have spoken with Robert Probst, whom I personally know because he has made an effort to meet me because he wanted to make sure if he was a rep of my company that we were legit. So he drove 5 hours to meet me. Robert Probst is one of our most respected reps and I never get complaints about him, so this report comes a total shock to me. Back to my point about the money....Robert claims that he actually was letting you make payments on the $997...Which is up to him as long as your monthly payments to the company were settled. So in my opinion, you received all the products and all my training, my live support and over 200 hours of archived training classes that I have held for 5 months while you were active. Yet you still haven't paid Robert in Full. You talk about how you were taken and how you were convinced....Personally, No One has ever convinced me to give away $1000...Sure I've a $1000 on things I wanted, but I've never spent $1000 on something I did NOT want. As far as the training stopped...You are just making excuses...I personally hold 3-4 training classes a week. They are recorded in case you can't make the live class. It is more training classes than most companies on the internet. Robert Probst even holds his own trainings above and beyond what the company provides and all his team members are welcome to attend. You claim that Robert wasn't authorized to take the monthly payments, yet mysteriously money was being taken out...Let's talk facts here Bob, You joined, you gave him the credit card and he took payments on the $997 until the $997 was paid in full...month 4 you got pissed and all hell broke lose... You talk about Mr. Keeley losing money too and how his wife left him...Come on Bob, That's all "here say" not admissible in court unless Mr Keeley says this himself...I can't accept your third party complaints...Besides, I've never been contacted by a Mr. Keeley, so please, give it a rest. Then at the bottom of your complaint, you say...and I quote..." If you are a truly an honest man Craig Garcia then return to me every dime you took from me.".....Again, the only money paid to my company was the 4 months of the $ 44.95. In fact, I am not even mentioned in the letter until you want me to pay you back, when I wasn't the one you had issues with.... It sounds like your letter doesn't carry much weight and you are fishing pretty hard at end of your letter.... Then the kicker is....how you are going to contact attorneys and sue us... Bob, according to my records, you still owe $397 to Robert...It wasn't our decision to quit. It was yours. Now you must be hurting so bad for money, you're fishing for any dime you "THINK" you can squeeze out anyone. Bob, it has been over a year since you joined, you had access to all my products and training, not to mention Live Support and you didn't even pay in full, so please Bob, do yourself a favor and give it a rest. Hey Bob I was like you but with my sponsor he just took my money & ran & I was mislead into getting extras like Aweber auto responders when you actually don't need them for this business, I stuck it out for as long as possible & I marketed the products like crazy but most of the advertising which they said was free actually wasn't. However the worst thing for me was that when I did ask for help on a particular forum all I got was personal attacks against me which no one should have to endure so in the end I lost nearly 1000.00 which is a lot for someone who is on disability. Maybe EDC is a real business or maybe not but people who want to sponsor others should sign a code of conduct so they don't just take your money & run because I can imagine that there are a lot of people out there who have experienced the same problem as I had.
