I referred a friend to Pheasant Run Apartments and was suppose to receive a $200.00 referral fee. After months of calling, I got the $200.00. I referred two more people and was told my checks would be sent. My friend told me he received a $200.00 referral check and took it to the office and explained he did not refer anyone the agent said," you must have, it's free money, keep it". I called the corporate office and talked to the manager and explained I was due two referral checks and that the Pheasant Run office had the information all screwed up,he transferred me to the accountant. I explained to her that I referred a friend and a couple of months later received the referral check but I was waiting on two more checks for two referrals. She looked at her computer and told me I received a check for the one referral that had moved in two weeks prior and I told her that she was incorrect, the check I received was for my friend that had moved in three months ago, she told me I was wrong and the computer was right. I told her that it takes six to eight weeks for the process, that is what I was told by the office. She said it could take two weeks. I said if it takes two weeks why have I had to wait four moths on one and three months on the other, she said she would investigate. Today, one of my referrals told me he received two $200.00 checks for referrals that he did not make and the office told him to keep the money. I called corporate to talk to the accountant and she will no longer talk to me and the manager does not return my calls after I leave messages. Also, the Pheasant Run manager said she doesn't know what is going on because corporate is suppose to take care of it. The moral of this complaint is, all good deeds don't go unpunished and no referral money!
