Elegance Home Painting Unskilled Painters, Showed Up Drunk, Shotty Work, Never On Time Jacksonville Florida
This "mick" of Elegance Home Painting gives us a quote and we decided to go with them. What a mistake. They showed up late on the first day, seemely reeking of alcohol from the night before. After starting the painting project we saw right away this company was NOT a good choice.
They tried to paint over raw surfaces without priming. When questioned we were given "I been painting for 20 years" pitch. Paint specs all over our hardwood floors, paint on our curtains. And the cheap caulk they used cracked out a month later. We were not happy at all.
We wanted a discount for the cleanup and repairs we would have to do and were told that they would "repair". We wanted to get rid of these drunkards; so we paid for the repairs and cleanup ourselves with another company. It cost us an additional $750.00 to get our home up to standard.
My husband did a check on the company. Seems this "mick" as he calls himself is really Michael Anthony Boneta (we checked SunBiz.org) and public record has him for a criminal background of child abuse. Convicted right here in Jacksonville, FL. We were appalled and ashamed we didn't do our research before hand.
Do yourself a favor and stay far away from these crooks!

After extensive research we noticed that there was NO such customer in any of our invoices we thought that this was very suspicious and decided to do further research. We found out today who the real person behind this review was. We do not wish at this time to post this information do to the integrity and values our company has. After taking this a step further we contacted the STATE ATTORNEY'S OFFICE and come to find out that this person is using a fictitious name ALEXIS HARLOD. We could be childish and try to slander this person but its not in our nature to do so. Not only did this person leave a negaitve review here but they chose to use this wonderful thing we call social media and hide behind their computer and after leaving several other negatice reviews which WE HAD REMOVED! Our company has been serving Jacksonville Florida for over 15yrs. This is the first complaint in a childish manor that has been published. To any potential new customers that is reading this I would advise you if you want to do a background search for my company contact the companies that cannot be bought such as BBB, Consumer Affairs, and Chamber of Combers. I have an outstanding positive review that our company has worked hard for. I have never really played alog with this social media I usually stay clear of it simply beause of acts like this. I turly apologize to all new customers that may be reading this but I have to defend myself and my company. We have worked to hard to build a good reputation in Jacksonville, FL to let one person that is childish ruin that.
