SCAM ALERT..... STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS

On 08/02/2017 I went to this used car dealership tp purchase a vehicle in wihich I was successful with a down payment of $1000. On 08/04/2017 as I was pulling into a shopping center a guy claiming that he was a repo man black me from behind and approched me, he proceeded to say that there is a repo ouy for this vehicle, at this point I'm very confused because I had just spoke with the desk girl about a 1-2 before this incident before, and she was telling me not to forget to bring the car in for vehicle inspection tomorrow, I forgot to mention that same day in the morning I made a $200 payment to make an even $1000 with $500 to be paid on before 08/09/2017.

I go to the dealership the next morning, Sham and Uship the (Owners), I believe that theres something like trying to avoid TAXES is behind that, because they keep swithcing the name of the business, and no one knows who the owner is, but thats another story. They told me that my husband purchased a vehicle from the 4 years ago in wich I had nothing to with I did not sign any paper work the DMV says the VIN belongs to my husband, but they said that since he defaulted on his payment four years ago that they were keeping the vehicle and not going to refund my $1000. I work hard for my money! and these crooks took my money and vehicle. I have no contractual obligations with that business and my husband. I believe what they did was against the law by not refunding my funds! Thoese were two different contracts, between to different company's, and the fact that I did not sign off on the deal four years with my husband.

The contract could not state under the The Fair Credit Billing Act (FCBA) is a United States federal law enacted as an amendment to the Truth in Lending Act(codified at 15 U.S.C. § 1601 et seq.). That any debt can carry over unto a new contract with a different company but at the same location with "same owners" WITHOUT IT BEING IN WRITTING!!! these people are crooks and will get thier just deserves!!

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Tue, September 12, 2017

Latoya "Toya" Washington and Brian Washington have both attempted but failed to take advantage of hard working people; they were trying to scam us out of a vehicle. Firstly they breached the contract by not obtaining and providing full coverage insurance on the vehicle they were financing from us as is required for all of our customers. Not only is this writing in the contract, it is also dictated verbally upon purchase agreed upon, and signed.  The GPS was removed from the vehicle, which was the 2nd breach of contract.  Once we realized the GPS was removed we feared loss of the vehicle and sent the repossession order for the vehicle. In doing so, we come to find out the address that they provided in the contract was also false as was also was the address on their drivers license we always ask of our customers for a current address on all of our contracts specifically our finance deals. We are God fearing and follow all the laws and bi-laws required of us in anything that we do. We live up to a strict code of ethics and morals. We do not try to get the best of people. We have grown our business organically on reliability and trust. It’s hard to find that nowadays in business especially the car business. So you can see where my frustration is coming from having to deal with this. Most of our customers are either referrals or repeat clients. This is for a reason we would not have gotten to where we are at in business and in life by scamming our customers or people in general. Integrity is a dire responsibility we "Live" by.  The Washington’s have also gone to the extent of calling the City of Houston and falsely claiming that they were injured on our property stating that they were electrocuted in our bathroom which is ABSOLUTELY false and untrue there is not even an outlet in our bathroom to get electrocuted from. When the city inspectors that came by told me they were there about the electrocution in the bathroom and I laughed and told them to get out of here and they told me "No Seriously "thinking that they were pulling my chain because they frequent our lot to make sure that we are up to date on all of our licenses and regulatory obligations and said again "No Seriously" then I began to worry that someone had actually been hurt wondering why this is the first I’m hearing about this. They and I began to question what really was going on because obviously after checking our restroom it is not possible to get shocked or electrocuted without a means of electricity at reach. The inspectors then asked if we had reposed a vehicle recently in which I said yes and that’s when I had the light bulb moment. I then immediately knew who had made the call. They then told me not to worry they see this happen all the time usually when someone has recently been evicted or have had a vehicle reposed. I then apologized that they were sent on a wild goose chase for no reason when knowing there time was better well spent actually dealing with real reports and violations. It’s a horrible waste of time of our city servants and tax payer dollar to have to try to defend ourselves against such slander and falsehoods. This is obviously not their first rodeo come to find out by our neighbor whom also is a auto dealer. When we checked 'Been Verified' application, both of their names pull up several different aliases. We are not here to judge we do not have the right to do so. We are simply defending ourselves against all these un-factual statements and LIES to protect our business our names and our reputation that we have worked so hard and diligently to grow. This is a complete waste and loss of my time writing this rebuttal to defend our business and names against these ABSOLUTE LIES AND DEFFIMATION but none the less very important that we clear our name from these statements that have been wrongly made  against us. Regardless we will pray for them.
