We were hired by Stone Law Firm to design a web site. The process was difficult, but we completed the project after a hundred or so changes. Once the site was completed, we were hired to complete more programming and then some on site optimization for the web site.
Elliott Stone had us working with one of his esteemed who he fired and then rehired (allegedly). After Mr. Stone signed a contract detailing the work and the fact that we would be uploading his business listing to multiple directories, he then proceeded to blast us for uploading his business listing to multiple directories.
At the end of the project, Mr. Stone's assistant sent over final changes.. All changes were completed except for adding content to one of the pages. From the beginning of the project, this content was not delivered. After 100 days, this content was not delivered. We requested the information for almost a month. Then, we realized Elliott Stone was withholding the information so that we wouldn't have to pay the remaining balance. He nor his assistant replied to repeated attempts to get paid and now we have to follow this up in court. The credit card he used was not valid anymore and he locked us out of the admin area to make the final changes.
If Elliott Stone screws vendors out of the money he owes, he must be good at screwing other people through his law firm. You should hire him for your business law but I would stay far away from him as a vendor.

I RECOMMEND THAT NO VENDOR WORK WITH THIS FIRM. THEY ARE UNBEARABLE TO WORK WITH AND THEY WILL PROBABLY SCREW YOU OUT OF WHAT THEY OWE ANYWAY..

After writing our initial report, Mr. Stone and our company were able to amicably resolve all differences we had with respect to this project. Mr. Stone provided the content we needed to complete the web site and we were compensated accordingly. We were not "screwed" out of the money we were owed because we were paid the final balance on the project. We fully appreciate Mr. Stone's participation in this matter.
