Emergency Liquidation Center Fraud Liquidation for "$5 Everything!" West Palm Beach, Florida
A TV Commercial advertised for bankruptcy liquidation at the old Linens n' Things store on Okeechobee and Military, West Palm Beach, FL. Constantly Over and Over on the commercial they stated that Everything was $5 and everything must go on Friday, July 15 till Sunday, July 17. People gathered at least an hour before noon. We were there 30 minutes until opening. Seems 5 minutes before opening they stick a poster on the door stating "$5 Admission for 12 y.o. and up. Good until End of July". We heard some some people shouting angrily but we did not understand what it was for. We were at the end of line. We paid $15 for three of us an it took less than a couple of minutes that there is nothing for $5 other than some reusable grocery bags or similar items. All Electronics and Audio equipments which people have rushed for them were on regular price or even over priced. We tried reasoning with the people that we paid for admission but they just guided us to leave store and even others also who felt jipped did not get their money back either and wonderfully they threatened us with the Police! Obviously the point of this Fake Liquidation was collecting $5 admission fees.
