EMV Compliance FALSE INVOICE FOR Annual EMV Download Dallas Texas
We are a medical practice, and use a credit card machine. We have been in business 7 years and have NEVER had to pay anything extra for annual compliance of our credit card processing terminal.
EMV Compliance has sent us an invoice which I have seen others report on this site as fraudulent. The company is trying to TRICK unsuspecting small business owners into sending in a fee of $139.50 for an annual download of EMV credit card processing compliance software.
The company does not provide a physical address, phone or fax number in their invoice, so that should set off alarms for you immediately. Please, if you have a credit card machine and are the least bit concerned, contact your current merchant and they will confirm for you that this scheme is entirely bogus.
I hope that these clowns will be put out of business soon, and that they will have to pay a full refund, plus interest, to anyone that they have cheated.
