Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
On 9/14/02 I went with a friend to the above mentioned location, she was to pay for her rental car. We had planned on going boating that day and we had all of our personal belongings in a wet proof bag(driver license, credit cards, atm cards, etc.) well she was paying with her credit card for her rental car>not mine< my name was no where on the contract nor have I ever rented there before.....so back to the story, she gave the salesman "Jeff" a gold card which she thought was hers, come to find out was my check card. They both seen this mistake and cancelled the transaction and issued credit back to my card and assured me that my card would never be charged for any reason. Oh'yea she paid with her credit card on that date.

So, on Sept 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30th the salesman Jeff authorized sales for $394.44 and when I called the bank to dispute this, I called the main number and had Jeff call me and he confirmed that he did infact do those charges and he also stated to me that he was aware that it was illegal>fraud< and that his manager "Harrison" was aware of this as well and told him to do it anyway, that they was gonna get paid someway!

Hello?

It there something wrong with this picture? Besides the illegal fraud that has taken place.....I did not rent a car, I was not responsiable, I never authorized anything!

Well some good news after being on hold for a while and playing tag on the phone with corprate, I will be issued credit back for those illegal unauthorized charges, Thanks!

But I still have charges for overdrafts and return checks, who will cover that?

Rest assured that I will file criminal charges on both employees for doing this.

Oh'yea, I plan to file a civil suite as well, wouldn't you?

And there is more to this story, my friend who rented the car.

Well without getting to much into her business, tells me that they told her that they reported the car stolen and they did not have the car. Well she has the contract showing returned on 9/30/02 and paying cash on the balance due over $1100.00.

Looks like the fraud just keeps getting deeper and deeper, it would be ashamed to make a false police report for grand theft auto and send an innocent person to jail.

Looks like the employees who are doing this are setting the company up for some major lawsuites, I think the corparte office should step in and get this right Things have gone to far!
