I rented a car from enterprise after my car broke down. I had full Coverage insurance so I did not our chase their insurance. I asked for a car and not a truck but I was not picky beyond that. The manager of the store said he had a Chevy HHR. I told him that's fine so he had me initial all of the paperwork, including te damage part before I even saw the vehicle. Then he said the vehicle was in harrisonville (20 min south) and he'd have an employee drive me there to pick it up.

By the time we got there I had already been trying to Rent this car for almost an hour. The employee ran inside and got the keys. He came outside, marked a scratch that was on the drivers side door and didn't check any other part of the car. He got inside the vehicle and there was absolutely no gas in the car. AREN'T THE ENPLOYEES SUPPOSED TO FILL THE CAR UO W GAS AND CLEAN IT OUT BEFORE RE-RENTING THEM? So he told me "oh just return it with no gas." Ok....

I returned the car 8 days later. The lady came out and inspected it very well and told me That there was dog hair in it and it would cost 120.00. So I told her I would go vaccum it out for 50 cents down the street. She was nice and I returned a few minutes later. She went back outside and inspected te vehicle a SECOND time and said everything was ok and I got my receipt and left. She kept the form that said there was no new damage.

I went and picked up my car from the shop, went out to lunch with my grandparents, drive home which is about 20 minutes away. Approximately 2 hours later I get a phone call from the manager dating that there's a fist size dent in the drivers side bottom panel and that he was reporting it.

I did not damage the vehicle. I have no idea what he is referring to bc the only Thing I know is about the scratch that was already there. He said it was so obvious that he noticed it as soon as he walked outside. ... If it was that obvious why didn't his employee Notice it during the two inspections? And isn't the business transaction done as soon as I pay and she marked off my paper work? Now I got a damage claim from their "outside agency" asking for my credit card or insurance. I called asking for more information regarding the costs to see if it's worth going to court w my lawyer and they said they did not know the costs yet... Then why are you asking for my credit card?

I also have a friend that will take a little dent out for free but I will not admit any guilt because I did not do it.

They claim new damage with me after the transaction was closed. They did not reimburse me For the gas I left in the tank after they gave it to me on empty, oh and the best part.... THE AIRBAGS STOPPED WORKING ONE DAY I WAS DRIVING TO WORK.

I have contacted a lawyer however I'm not sure what else I can do. I do not have the money to pay for damages I did not do and I still do not know why damage they are talking about. Can the corporate office help me? Should I go to small claims with my lawyer? Can I sue for lawyer costs? Help.
