Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
i worked at Crown Court Appartments from oct. 2007 till dec.2010. i attended two company annual parties held at Rustler's Roost. Mike Bodin the Area Vice President told us we had a new company moto. it was, let's make the residents stay longer and pay even more. then he said we will do this by Superior Customer Service. sounds ok i guess. try to get happier residents that are willing to pay more for exceptional service, is probably an idea that could work, even in this economy. But were Equity falls short, way short is in the Customer Service. i had a resident that had Parkinsons Decease and was requesting an ice maker in his refriderator to be replaced with an upgraded on so it would produce the amount of ice his prescription said he needed everyday. i was told NO by MIke Mckibbin, crown courts 24 yr old Maintenance Supervisor with 5 years experience in appartment maintenance. i saw an elderly lady take in a roomate from her church to try to make ends meet in there $1200.00 per month appartment, this man was a bad man and beat her and put her in to hospital and attemted to kill her, he was arrested for assault and attemted murder. Crown Court and Equity Residential found her at fault for having a unauthorized person living with her. i reported a drunk resident throwing glass bottles at the pool and we had to drain and refill the pool,(residents split to water bill, lighting bill, property tax bill. hoa fees which at crown court run about 30,000 per month to be part of the princess resort. for those who do not know this, crown court is governed by the princess resort, they are the majority share holder of that H.O.A. the resident who cause glass to be in the pool, was not evicted since he put in a 30 day notice as i was reporting the insodent. sharon K. property manager said to his: so you desided to put in your notice before i evicted you right? he said, pretty much. he was pre approved to move into another equity property in cali. never did pay for the water bill the residents did. i will help anyone who has a problem with equity residential and i have acess to other equity former employees as well as residents. my email is (((REDACTED)))
also they NEVER full paint appartments only touch up the scuff marks.

But were Equity falls short, way short is in the Customer Service. i had a resident that had Parkinsons Decease and was requesting an ice maker in his refriderator to be replaced with an upgraded on so it would produce the amount of ice his prescription said he needed everyday.

What do you expect a landlord to do about medical needs as this?  There are numerous counter top ice makers that can be purchased or rented for those who want more ice making capacity.  Insurance companies will pay or partially pay to purchase/rent these ice makers PROVIDED the attending medical provider WRITES A SCRIPT for the ice.  Why should the landlord absorb the cost of someones medical treatment?  I would have refused to modify an existing refrigerator as well.  Medical treatment is not a responsibility of the landlord in a normal, residential apartment setting.

i was told NO by MIke Mckibbin, crown courts 24 yr old Maintenance Supervisor with 5 years experience in appartment maintenance.

I agree with the denial.  How does one replace an OEM refrigerator ice maker with an upgraded icemaker?  Does the refrigerator maker even OFFER an upgraded AFTER MARKET ice maker for the refrigerator that was in the apartment?  Why do you think a landlord is responsible for this medical need?

i saw an elderly lady take in a roomate from her church to try to make ends meet in there $1200.00 per month appartment, this man was a bad man and beat her and put her in to hospital and attemted to kill her, he was arrested for assault and attemted murder. Crown Court and Equity Residential found her at fault for having a unauthorized person living with her

They found her at fault for what?  In my rental units, ALL TENANTS must be a party to our written lease.  I do not allow subletting or allow visitors who stay more than 2 weeks.  How is the apartment management responsible for HER CHOSEN ROOMATE assaulting her?

i reported a drunk resident throwing glass bottles at the pool and we had to drain and refill the pool,(residents split to water bill, lighting bill, property tax bill.

Were the remaining tenants presented with an additional water/labor bill for cleaning the glass from the pool?  If so, I agree this would be inappropriate and actionable.  Are residents presented with separate water, lighting, and property tax bills?  I doubt it.  My tenants never see a water, common lighting, sewer (garbage fee), or property tax bill-these items are included in the BASE RENT.

the resident who cause glass to be in the pool, was not evicted since he put in a 30 day notice as i was reporting the insodent. sharon K. property manager said to his: so you desided to put in your notice before i evicted you right? he said, pretty much. he was pre approved to move into another equity property in cali. never did pay for the water bill the residents did.

Do you know how the lawful eviction process works?  I doubt it based on your report.  The tenant KNEW he was going to get evicted if he didnt leave voluntarily. A landlord CANNOT evict someone without due process.  I can guarantee you that the eviction process, if resisted by this tenant, would have taken substantially more than 30 days.

i will help anyone who has a problem with equity residential and i have acess to other equity former employees as well as residents. my email is (((REDACTED))) also they NEVER full paint appartments only touch up the scuff marks.

Never?  I doubt that.  Eventually, the entire wall will need to be painted otherwise; the patch painting will stick out like a sore thumb.

Moreover, just how exactly are you going to help anyone?  So far, I havent seen anything in this report that appears inappropriate behavior by the apartment management.

Oh!  Before you or anyone else attempts to label me as some sort of evil landlord, you should know that there are plenty of Ripoff Reports where I have made rebuttals to HELP THE TENANTS with landlord issues.

The world has enough scumbag landlords-Im not one of them.

You come off as a disgruntled former employee.  Why dont you tell us about your REAL BEEF with them?
