Erie Construction solicited for business in our neighborhood. We agreed to free estimate and thereafter two of their representatives came with Jason Sweet an Assistant manager and trainee. Jason did most of the talking mainly talking of how big their company is also that they make their own products in addition to having their warehouse house all the materials used in their construction. They even Bragg they will use acrylic panels and walk-in-tub flooring. They also assured us to do the job in one day. So Jason came up with a figure of a little more than $10K to do the bathroom renovation. I told him that it's beyond our budget. So he recalculated and came with $8754.00. We thought its still high but nevertheless with some hesitation agreed. The project started in the 31, May 2017. It began in a sour note. The guy made a mistake of cutting the panel and realized his mistake. So we called Jason and pointed out the problem. The person did a temporary fix and we were able to use the shower. My wife called their so called installation manager and followed up when the replacement panel will be delivered. Believing that they have the panel available in their Toledo warehouse we thought it will be delivered in a day or two. It took the days to come and later we found out that panels were coming from a company in Chicago. Turns out they do not make this materials as they allege. And that they do employ their construction personnel but sub-contract most their projects. All the inconvenience and anxiety and worries we have to undergo from the time we were sweet talk by Mr. Jason Sweet, I swear to God we will blog this untrustworthy and unreliable bunch of opportunistic company and their people andshould be exposed to the media and the general public. Beware of this Company.Never ever do business with them.!
