EUROCOMPS LTD ripoff! Company requested me to receive computers in USA and ship overseas. Also requested me to open an account with USA bank to receive funds and send oversea. The checks I deposited were fraudlent and my account is now closed. London, England; Internet
This is the letter I sent to the bank today 1/5/2005:
Gentlemen,
I'm writing to you since I understand that the checks I deposited in my account were found to be fraudulent.
These checks ( 3 of them ) I received from a company so called Eurocomps, in the UK.
In the beginning of December 2004 I received an email from Eurocomps Ltda, offering me a job as their representative in the USA . My job would be to receive products in my home and ship them out to their customers around the world. They also advise that they would request me to receive checks from their customers and I should deposit in my account and then remit the balance to their customer overseas via Western Union.
I went on the internet and check this company in the BBB on line and nothing was found. I did a search on the internet and what I found for this company was job offering in the Best Jobs USA". When I did my first deposit in the account I talked with one of your managers and explain how this company Eurocomps Ltda offered me the job. I asked your manager about receiving funds and then transfer them overseas; your manager told me that companies do that and that was nothing wrong with what I was doing.
I felt more confident that I was doing the right thing.
Well I received the checks and deposited in my newly opened account with yourselves and much to my surprise I was told by the bank teller that my account was closed due to fraud. I m honest person and have never had any problems in my life .
In this whole scheme I'm the victim and I will be reporting this company to the proper parties so no one else gets involved with this fraudulent company.
I'm attaching copy of all the correspondence with Eurocomps, as well as copy of the contract and their advertisement in the job board.
When talking to your customer service they advise me that I should write to you explain what happened and ask you to have my name removed from the checking systems
I would much appreciate if you can consider my position in this entire issue and consider this letter with attachments which shows that I'm a victim of a fraudulent company. If you need additional information please advice and I will be glad to supply.
