Well said, Absolutely 100% truth to the above statement. VERY WELL SAID. That is everything in a nutshell as to what this company is about.

I've read all of the arguments that have gone back and forth regarding Expedite Solutions and thought I'd add a few comments to the list. First of all, I'd like to call on the anonymous defenders (aka Gus and Kristy) to come clean. You obviously have a very positive view of this company, and that's your prerogative, especially if you're receiving a weekly paycheck (aka salary) from them instead of a weekly settlement like the actual drivers receive. Big difference, my friend. I know you claim to be a driver, but your defenses are so transparent none of the real drivers believe that to be true. I'm glad that you feel so loyal to your boss and try so hard to defend the company policies and practices, but please, let's be realistic. You answered other questions so elaborately, so here are a few more: 1. If you are a real driver and are such an outstanding advocate for ES, then why not just list your real name, phone number, and email address so potential drivers can call you up and get the real story behind ES? I can't think of any reason why you wouldn't be willing to do so since you are so passionate about this outstanding company. Of course, this would allow anyone interested to call someone they actually trust at ES, (like Charles) and ask if you have ever worked for them. Charles is a great guy, and I don't think that he would lie, even for his boss. If you refuse to disclose your full name, then that is a clear indication for potential new drivers who have found this site and don't know who to believe. It is understandable that those who are still driving for ES and have a legitimate gripe would not want to reveal their identity for fear of retaliation, but if you really think they are wonderful, great! Tell us who you are and give us a contact number so you can recruit for them even more. 2. Why is it that you make no claims to any amount of actual money that you have made with ES? You offer a lot of propaganda, but no real substance in your rebuttals. 3. If you are going to verbally attack individuals who are simply trying to state their opinions on this site by making fun of their spelling and grammar, then you might want to learn how to operate your own spell checker and proofread your own posts. You might want to note that "their" and "there" are not interchangeable, "consider" is not spelled "concider", (unless you're referring to some obscure illegal apple flavored beverage), and you might want to use and "s" on the end of "truck" or add an "a" when you keep saying that you have "driven truck." Normally, I wouldn't say anything about something as petty as spelling and grammar, but your smugly arrogant rebuttal called for a response. 4. Are you a male or female? In one post, you say "my wife and I", suggesting that you are a man. On the last one you posted, you referred to the frequency of taking showers on the road and said "I know, because I'm a female." Are you confused about your own gender? And please don't try to say that both you and your husband have responded under the same name because the language and format of the two are identical. 5. Why do the ES website and the contract refer to Expedite Solutions as a proprietary training school? We called the Indiana Commission on Proprietary Education (C.O.P.E.) and asked about ES. They are the regulating agency for ALL proprietary education in Indiana and have never heard of ES. They told us that if ES is claiming to be operating under that guise, they will be investigated and shut down. They also advised us to contact the Attorney General for the state of Indiana to further pursue contractual legality, and we are in the process of doing so now. And please don't try to claim that ES is operating under the authority of C1 or Drivers Solutions. We've made those phone calls as well and have learned that ES does NOT operate under their umbrella as a driving school. In fact, one of their Vice Presidents disavowed (do you know what that means?) any affiliation with the training services at ES other than the use of their driving range. 6. Why are you so quick to call on the drivers to "just move on" if they are not happy? Could it possibly be that ES preys on individuals who cannot survive under company policies and therefore must forfeit the $6000 in "savings" that you withhold from their settlements? This is the only way that ES is staying in business and also why they don't recruit experienced drivers. You know very well that drivers who have invested even a few months with this company cannot "just move on" because they entered into what amounts to an indentured servitude by believing in the lies that they have been told, and they cannot just leave without getting sued by ES. 7. Why does the ES website claim that an AVERAGE team will earn $1000 per week AFTER all expenses except for taxes. This is an outright lie. Even a top running team does not make this, much less an AVERAGE team. Speaking of the "savings" plan money that ES holds until you either fulfill or terminate your contract. We have serious doubts as to whether or not this money even exists. I think the Attorney General may look into that, and if ES is using these savings plans, which are not theirs to use, for operating capital, they may be in a bigger hole than they can dig themselves out of. They are also illegally withholding the fuel surcharge money of many drivers every month, probably also to use as operating capital. The FSC is due directly to the driver, as stated in the ES contract and also in the agreements with Panther and Express 1. This it not Expedite Solutions' money in the first place and they have no legal right to hold it. I see a huge class action lawsuit coming on this item, and every driver that has had their FSC money withheld should be able to claim a breach of contract and get out without losing their shirts. The fact is that ES is operating on money owed to their drivers and banking on the fact that no one will last the full year so that they can avoid paying out the $6000 in savings that they owe to each and every team. So, my friend, to use an outdated but quite appropriate metaphor, you are standing on the deck of a sinking ship. You can put your little nose in the air and scream, "it ain't true" at the top of your lungs, but you'll still be sucking water before you know it. Or here's a better metaphor to consider: It's time for you and your fellow actors to decide which side you want to be on when the curtain goes up, because the show is just about over. I welcome your response.

I guess no one knows what to think about the old post that have a lot of complaints that are now posted as well. How would you explain that? Sounds fishy again huh, but from others. I guess everyone else is wrong. NOT.

Filed by Paula Paducah, KY: I joined on with Expedite Solutions on 01/01/07, on 01/02/07 I had my Dot Physical, and Permits. After what was called a classroom training (which was a joke), I obtained my CDL's. Filed by Pardel Bernie MO: My husband and I decided to try team driving in September 2006. Since I already had a class B CDL we decided to try the Expediting Industry. Keith started checking the Internet for expediting companies and put out several feelers with different companies. We were immediately contacted by Expedite Solutions. We explained that I already had my CDL for 14 years so only Keith would need to attend 'school' to obtain his. We were told that I would only have to attend orientation. We started with Expedite Solutions Oct 2, 2006. Filed by Anonymous Detroit MI: We also tell the teams no matter how bad you current situation with Expedite may be, do not under any circumstances, quit or the situation will get 10 times worse. Futhermore, wecan honestly say that even though we would NEVER under ANY circumstances sign another contract with Expedite Solutions Filed by Trucker Pittsburg PA: Me and my fiance were thinking about going into the trucking industry, so i had him look up trucking companies on the internet to see what he could find, but in the mean while i already had my CDL, since i was a school bus driver, and he found 1 in indianapolis IN, so we were checking it out, before we finally made a decision on going to the school in indianapolis. We started on Aug 28,2004. Filed by Linda Truckersreport.com: Hi pardel, we are caught in this big ripp off company that you were in. We cant wait to get out it's been a rough road to follow. I wish we would have had that contract to look over a couple of weeks before we signed things would have been different Posted by Cindylouwho on Expediters online: Let me tell you from experience... My fiance' and I were working regular jobs when we decided to get into the expedite business. Neither of us had our class B licenses and neither of us had any experience with driving a truck. My fiance' had ordered the guides for getting your cdl, but I really wasn't comfortable reading the guides and renting a truck just to get it. I felt like I needed some training actually driving the truck. So, I found Expedite Solutions online and gave them a call. Things sounded peachy and we ended up going last year. I don't regret going with them to get the training for driving, but that's about all either of us got out of it. They, like the other guy said, give you the IN cdl book and you read it and go take your test to get your permit. Once that happens, they teach you how to drive and expedite truck. You are on your own for learning the pre-trip inspection and all the other knowledge. You take your road test and pre-trip and if you p**** you go get your licnese. We then had to go back home to NC and get our license transferred over. We, luckily, didn't have to take the road or written tests over again. We ended up leaving Expedite after running with them for 2 months. I've met a number of people who have gone through the same thing with them and wish they hadn't. My advice to you would be to get your husband's help with the driving and pre-trip part and study for the written tests. I hope this helps somewhat...... Posted by LDB moderater on Expediters online: have friends who both went through that. They didn't get anything except a license that was useless as soon as they returned home and had to redo it in the home state. They are being billed now for a huge amount of money for what should have been at most a few hundred dollars cost. There may be good experiences out there but their's wasn't. Good luck. Posted by MSTAZ on Expediters online: Expedite Solitions is nothing but a ripe off. If you want to survie in the world of truck driving have your husband teach you the things that you need to know for your cdl. My Fiance and I went through the training at expedite solutions and the owner is a joke. we only worked for them for 10 months, which was 10 months to long cause we got in a finacial hole and could not get out. When we got back to PA to switch our license over all we had to take was the hazmat test that was it Posted by Lisalewis on Expediters online: My husband and I went through expedite solutions (for 8 months)ending last October. I was a rookie so I was happy for the training I received driving a straight truck...my husband was already a pro so after one day of practice he passed his driving test. They are good about "walking" you through the course and teaching you the basics. If you are willing to read the fine print and sign that hefty contract for a year by all means give it a shot. But remember that you are not going to make a ton of money...we seemed to average 400 week staying 4 weeks out with a long weekend off. Just think: after you get your 52% you have to subract fuel (which will always be more than you expect), accident insurance 65wk, cell phone, tax guy 25wk, computer (if you lease one through them 35 wk) plus all your at home expenses. Also remember that you pay for the ezpass/pre-pass for the truck also. The fuel surcharge money each month got us by...we averaged 1,500--3,000 month. But if you go in the hole with fuel any week that comes off that bonus. Plus you are not going to get that "dream truck" when you first start. Our truck was so bad that we had to duck tape the inside of the doors to keep the snow out! That stupid truck broke down on us with our 3rd load in WY. Nothing like hand unloading a truck in below zero weather at 3am!! We eventually got upgraded to a better truck but don't expect no more than a 72" sleeper, which can be cramped with two people. Personally I don't like to talk bad about anyone because I believe everyone has a different outlook on the same situation. Just because it didn't work out for us doesn't mean it will go the same way with the next guy. Posted by Jaminjim on Expediters online: I came across one of thier trucks broke down in New Mexico. They ( a husband and wife team running for PII )were on a lonely two lane highway. We stayed with them for about an hour. The truck they drove was a very, very used truck, and looked it. No working a/c, tape on the seats, and just used up in general. We finally had to leave but exchanged phone numbers. Not sure why,or who's fault but they did not get a service truck to them for over ten hours. (and they were under a load that was late when we were there.) Over a period of time we would talk to each other, and he started to complain about the lack of income. So trying to help him out we talked about the type of loads he was taking, and where he was taking them to. How much in service time, how long he was ideling the truck, trying to be on more than one board at a time. Just the normal stuff to try and better your bottom line. Bottom line ended up they left the buisness after six months, why you might wonder. Because with over 90 percent in service the take home pay was less than $300.00 per week.( for the team ) He E-mailed me there pay sheets every week and we would talk about where they went, and everything about each and every load they were offered. I could not figure out how to help them, because there deductions were over $900.00 per week before the fuel was taken out. No they were not buying the truck on a lease, not paying for damage done. Posted by Weave on Expediters online: Is that "training" worth almost $13,000? And Expedite Solutions wants you to pay for pager and workman's comp on top of that? Get real. Plus that additional 3% into what is an escrow account that they make money off of? Just be sure to ask all of your shippers and consignees "Do you want fries with that?" And that one generous once a month wash voucher to take care of THEIR equipment? And the only "benefit" they offer the companies they lease the trucks to is high turnaround green-pea drivers? If you are under the impression that I do not like rip-off fleet operations, you are dead right :+ Posted by Guest on Expediters online: I had wanted to comment on this, but felt like some of the experinced drivers would get a hold of it sooner or later..lol..Looks like you have :). I looked at the website myself after seeing their booth at MATS. They are obviously recruiting teams, but I read through their website anyway. What always amazes me is that alot of rip-offs like this one will actually get enough people signed up to stay in business. If they don't, they will just sweeten the pot just up to the point that they can sign on a few drivers. I guess it's all business, but I just don't care for it. This is just a few web postings on E.S. Seems like we are not the only ones un-happy with E.S. All facts are given and we have the proof to back it up. As for libel, it is only libel when it is not true! It is sad that these teams feel trapped in servitude. I will admit I personally cannot beleive I was caught up in such a scam. I guess it goes to show anyone can be deceived! As for us two, I am sure if we had Expedite Solutions records of past employees where we were able to contact them there would be many many more.

Whatever, there are more than 2 complaints on this site. If you go to the top and put in Expedite Solutions it will bring up more. Just a coincedence? I think not. The truth is slowly making its way out about this company. And yes we do still drive and are much happier and actually make money now. (Unlike people with ES). We have no problems or have never had any problems with anyone other than ES. Makes you wonder why.

After reading all the posts about ES, we can't help wondering what REALLY motivates the 2 individuals who initiated this thread. They obviously had a bad experience at ES, but as others have posted, this is at least partly because of their own doing. We have to wonder about these two - are they really currently employed anywhere, or has the trucking industry already kicked them out on the street? To be sure, trucking is extremely competitive - no carrier will put up with the negative, nasty and childish attitudes these 2 exude. And if indeed they are still driving, our guess is that it won't be for long. These are people you really don't want to be around, and are the type that would sue you if they could for not stopping to help with a flat tire. They see themselves as victims, no matter what life throws at them. My wife & I are currently with ES, and have experienced none of the negatives described by these two. On the contrary, ES has kept their commitments to us 100%. Sure, we were asked to take a look at this site to see what we think. If you were being libled, wouldn't you? It won't surprise us if we learn the initiators of this report are being sued in civil court. Life is too short to spend it focusing on negatives; if you were treated unfairly, get over it and get on with your life - it happens to EVERYONE. We're sure you'll reply with another scathing rebuttal, but please know we won't be reading it; we're much too busy enjoying the positive side each new day has to offer on the road.

We have been reading this thread with ongoing interest and since our last posting,we have received some interesting reply's except from the people we wanted a reply from the most. Expedite Solutions. They have ignored our request's for more info on thier supposed school.I have never heard of a learning institution where if you express interest in attending thier school, they just completly ignore you.Usually you receive at the very least and invite to tour the campus aka an open door policy,q&a on what they have to offer, tuition and what they expect from thier future students.ES sure paints a pretty picture on thier web site but thats real easy to do nowadays. Kim and I are still very interested in driving for a living but we see that it will be a difficult hill to climb breaking into an industry we know little about.I'm just glad that ES themselves helped to make up our minds for us by keeping silent and totally turning us off from applying to thier scam instituion. Thanks folks,

I must state that the truck we trained in was also a 1999 freightliner with a babycat as well. It DID NOT anywhere on the truck state that it was a training truck. It also DID NOT have a rearview mirror, nor an extra foot break. In no way shape or form did our vehicle come close to the standards you posted. If training is to be no less than 16 days, then there again I was enrolled and already driving for our company by the 15th of Jan. Now let's see, we had to report for class on Jan. 1, (why when nothing is open). After getting our physicals and permits, our first real class day (if you can call it that) was on Wednesday Jan. 3rd and it was very brief seeing as we had to wait on everything to try to get organized. (It was like no one lnew what to do or when to do it). We tested the following Thursday, which was Jan. 11th. Where was there 16 days of class? We left the following day, and arrived at our orientation class on Mon. Jan. 15th. I DO NOT see how someone can call it training when they take you out on the road 1 or 2 times and on the range twice. The rest of the time you are told to come back after the office closes and practice on the range by yourself. Now this is for people who have never driven a truck before, you tell them to drive by their selves with NO ONE around after just being in the truck 1 time. How can you call that training. You can do that on your own and save yourself $7995.00. What kind of other lies would they be making up if someone wrecked into the building or anything else for that fact, because they were doind it on their own. That is what we were instructed to do by Chad. That was considered to be our homework. Drive on the range by yourself, and it cost me that much to be told that. I also do not know if Kyle is certified, but does it really matter if he is considering you only see him 1 time, and never when you are outside. He comes into the classroom once to talk about things he knows is going to happen to you while you are out on the road. That is SO VERY MUCH TRUE, he already knows you will be struggling seeing as he makes sure of that, by taking everything you are working for. The laws posted are very interesting, since most of those laws do not seem to apply to ES at all. So how can they say they are a legal running operation. How can you have the same complaints over and over for a few years, (all relating to the same issues) and you state you are not crooks. Yeah ok. If you want nothing in your life than this is definately the company to work for. If you want to really make money I would advise you to go elsewhere. Money can be made out here, I know because I still drive, it just cannot be made with ES.

I beleive the point my wife is trynig to make is for all of you drivers out there that feel you have to stay with Expedite Solutions because of this contract they are holding over your head, basically forcing drivers to stay with them. It does not appear Expedite Solutions IS really a legal school. You might want to check them out. A contract that is not legal by law is not enforceable. Expedite Solutions files suit in Indianappolis banking that the drivers will not show up for court and they will win a judgement by default. See posting below! 'you reap what you sow' 'We also tell the teams no matter how bad you current situation with Expedite may be, do not under any circumstances, quit or the situation will get 10 times worse.' I think this statement right here says it all! 'no matter how bad you current situation with Expedite may be' ! The situations of most, if not all, of Expedite Solutions drivers is bad! As for 'do not under any circumstances, quit or the situation will get 10 times worse.'! Not necessarily, check Indiana law on driving shools. http://www.in.gov/legislative/iac/T01400/A00040.PDF. It appears to me we all may have a class action against Expedite Solutions? It is required by Indiana law that all persons teaching for compensation in a driving school weather it is in the classroom or behind the wheel be licensed by the state of Indiana to teach. (4) 'Instructor' means: (A) A person weather acting for himself or herself as operator of a commercial driver training school or for any such school for compensation, who: (i) teaches (ii) conducts classes of (iii) gives demonstrations to; or (iiii) supervises practices of; persons learning to operate or driver motor vehicles or preparing to take an examination for a drivers license; and (B) Any person who supervises the work of any other such instructor. Sc 13 (a) No person shall give commercial driver training instruction for compensation or act as a commercial driver training instructor unless he or she: (1) Holds a valid, current commercial driver training instructor license issued by the commissioner and; (2) is employed by a licensed driver training school. This section does not apply to any full-time teachers in an accredited high shcool, college or university who has among his or her duties the teaching of driver's educations except when employed as an instructor in a commercial driving school as set for in the Act and these rules and regulations. When my husband attended this 'school' the only certified instructor was Shelby, (maybe, I know she is a state examiner, don't know about teacher) however, Adam, Stephnie, Kyle, Jason, and Chad all were 'teaching' there little spills. Chad took Keith, Bonnie and Gary driving! He is not a certified instructor? Adam, not a certified instructor, Stephnie, nope, not a certified instructor, Kyle, don't remember him having any certificate displayed in plain veiw, my guess, nope, not a certified instructor. Jason, ahhh yes, he was teaching the 30 minutes of mechanics of it', oh yes, they were 'training' him to teach! Nope, guess he wasn't a certified instructor. So people look up the laws on that 'driving school' you are being charged thousands of dollarsfor! See if it really qualifies as a 'school' or is it just a few people who decide, geez, we could make a lot of money if we call this a school and charge people for 'training'! wow, we could also scam them out of their earnings, get them to quit, and charge them even more. Wow what a deal! I am just a lay person but by reading the laws even I can see violation after violation if the school is licensed as a 'school'. Of course I do not remember seeing the school's certification that is suppose to be in plain veiw for all students to see. Might of been there, but if it was I certainly missed it. The only thing I remember seeing posted was the letter and post card saying how wonderful Expedite Solutions was sent by 'Charles and his wife'. Keiths date of school was Oct 2006, he was trained in a 2000 babycat Freightliner, with over 700,000 mile on it, let see I believe the law reads: 'Every motor vehicle used for commercial driver training must have a current Indiana registration plate and be a recent model with not more than (5) years having lapsed from the date of purchase. As used in this subsection, 'date of purchase' means the date of purchase listed upon the certificate of title that was received from the application using the manufacturer's certificate of Origin. Oh yes, what about: Every motor vehicle used for commercial driver training must have the additional equippment as follows: (1) One (1) extra operable foot brake (note) EXTRA not 1 period) (2) One (1) rearveiw mirror placed on the inside of the vehicle (3) Two (2) outside mirrors (1) on each side of truck. (well at least this was right) (4) Cushions for the proper seating of students when necessary. (b) Every training vehicle being operated by a student must be conspicuously marked and visible from all four (4) sides of the training vehicle. (c) Every training vehicle must be clean and in good working condition. (we were told these vehicles were training vehicles because they were not fit to be on the road) (d) The school vehicle identification certificate issued by the commissioner must be carried in the vehicle at all times while instructions are being given. Any of you remember having a 'training' vehicle that meet these requirements? Ours didn't. Indiana law states the 'school' must be no less then 16 day or more than 120 day. Keith started the 2nd of October and ended the 13th of Oct. that is 11 days, 5 days shy of the duration required by Indiana state law. These are only a few of the issues I am seeing that do not support Expedite Solutions charging my husband 7995.00 for a class B CDL. Again, I will state I am not a lawyer, I am a layperson, however things certainly appear shady to me.

First off I would love to know how you had your contract for 10 days, seeing as we were not even in class for 10 days while there. We started our first class on Wed. Jan. 3rd, and by the 10th we went hope to get our truck situated before going to our orientation class in Ohio. (We arrived on Jan. 1st), but seeing it was a holiday nothing could be done, (which made no sense as to why we had to be there then). Second it is not we could not make it on the road, if that were the case we would not still being doing it. Third, We do not have to have people call us up to have them post anything on this site. (How much are they paying everyone to post on here), I've already heard they told people to post good things about them. Fourth, dont talk work ethics, since I NEVER in my life have had any job I have ever done complain about my work ethics. I can get back with anyone I ever worked for in the past without a hitch. So work ethics have nothing to do with this (except on ES behalf). They are the ones who need to look at their ethics. If they are such a good company, then why do they have to tell their employers to write something positive about them, they can't do it? Anyone who has written a complaint about them on this website and all the other sites I have read the complaints on have been posted by people who know how they are, and did not have to be contacted to post. (Unlike all the positive post on here). They must be worried about the negative feedback if the have to tell people to post good things about them. They and their equipment are nothing as I have stated before, and as for the contract I would still love to see how you had it for 10 whole days before having to sign it, and how you had your license before signing it. (Exspecially when the class wasent even 10 days) or at least ours wasen't. Why, because they stated we were ready to test exactly 6 days after we started the 1st day of class.

We have been with them for 15 months. We are a Husband/Wife Team. As "ROOKIE" truck drivers, We fell the training we received was more than adequate. Although there is no one who can really prepare you for living on the road in a truck, They supplied as much information as possible in the time we were there. We received our contract upon arrival at Expedite Solutions. We had it for a full 10 days and were encouarged to refer questions regrarding it to appropriate staff members as well as our personal attorney. The contract is written in a very reader-freindly language. It is not full of "legalese" that anyone with average intelligence can not understand it if they take the time to read it. We completed thier school and had our CDL's in our possession before we ever signed our contract with them. The contract spells out all payroll deductions re: savings,insurance,T-check charges, cash advances, escrow, driver liability for equipment, ect. It also gives information regarding maintenance of their equipment. They require and pay for all maintenance. Anyne paying for for PM's, oil, wiper blades or anything else is doing it on their own. We've never paid for anything our truck needed machanically. We also passed 3 DOT safety inspectons in ES equipment. That being said any time our truck has broken down there is a 911 line that gives us a real person 24/7 without fail. They have always made sure we were taken care of with transportation and hotel rooms if needed. Our pay checks are directly deposited every Friday, As well as our FSC settlements on the 15th of every month. No doubt some people have not had the same good experience we've had with Expedite Solutions. There are a lot of factors involved in this kind of work such as attitude, faith, work ethics, ect. Patience & tolerance don't hurt either--Lots of frustration out there on the open road. Living in a truck is definitely not for everyone. Team ya, Married ya 50% of marriages don't survive the American Dream OTR truck driving is a million miles from that (no pun intended)! Expedte Solutions has always been there for us and now we are here for them. It's unfortunate that some folks may be ill-prerared and possibly just not suited for this lifestyle. Maybe it's a lack of doing enough research or having unrealistic expectations. Who knows? I do know..This is not a glorious occupation, it's not for everyone, But you just might fall in love with it. In this business some days are just lousy! The Serenity Prayer is so appropriate--- we have to do what we can for us every day and try not to get run over by the thing we can not change. We take pride in the fact that truck drivers move America and we're proud to be part of that movement!

Never in the history of the Rip Off Report has a company received so much attention in a week by so many "interested parties". The fact of the matter is that Expedite Solutions is popping up all over the web with complaints. Do a search on them and flip through a few pages to find the complaints lodged elsewhere, that are very similar to those offered here. It's not hard to see what is going on here. The "defenses" tell me all I need to know. For them to come in the span of a week is more than fishy. It's unimaginable, without manipulation or outright lying in the works. I wouldn't go anywhere near the place.

You know what maybe some of sound like office employees because we actually are educated and no how to articulate a sentence. Do you know what that word means. This site was suppose to state facts on why you do or don't like the company. But now you are making it personal! Nobody care what Stephanies past is about we have all had pasts. But to advertise it is down right immature. Nobodys perfect. And to call people out on the way they are, shows just what you are. So maybe you didn't have a good experience but that does not mean everybody had a bad one. Nobody is discrediting the that you had a bad experience. But now you are discrediting the people that had a good one. I guess the whole point is that you are ultimatley responsible for your own failure. And further more I read your complaint on EO and I called all the drivers and they posted behind me on thier own. So I am taking full credit for this.....

"My husband spent many years with USF Holland, as a dock supervisor before we decided to venture into driving truck. He knew all the ins and outs of being on the management side of truck driving" Really, just curious why a person would give up a job like this? Where you a teamster? If so, you would have a good wage, have full benefits, retirement, ect... Why would you give up a job like that to work for ES? Just wondering! I will still say these rebuttals are written in a manner strikingly similar to a certain office employee at ES. The writing is very unique! :)

Firstly, if all of these companies require experience before they will hire a driver, why did they hire all of us? We had no experience driving a truck! I drove a bus. My husband 20+ years as a police officer, no trucking experience, actually no commercial driving experience at all. Nearly all of the drivers Kyle puts on the road have no commercial experience, he depends on that. Secondly, I did not realize this was an English contest! I'll be more careful in future. Thirdly, stick to the facts! We have listed the real pay figures and our true experiences with Expedite Solutions. As for "plainly listed deductions" I do not see 'accounts receivable' without any explantion as plain? Fourth, but not least, you are the one being insulting and have gone on the attack. Is it because you have been proven wrong repeatedly? Or is it your not being paid enough for your postings?

First off I already know that ES contacted certain people to post their experiences they are having. Funny though it was only told to the current people who are with them right now. If you want the truth go to Expeditors Online, (to post from last year) and look up ES. You will find a whole lot of complaints then from different people. So it's not something new. I guess that is just more digruntled ex. employees (but yet it's all the same complaints). I'm glad your happy with them, (but I don't need to be coaxed or paid to lie for them). Hope you the best. Your gonna need it.

I have decided to make this my last post on this site. It appears to me that the posts from Pardel and Paula are becoming more and more childish at every turn. I am only 30 years old, and I feel as if I'm more mature than both of these individuals, combined. I could be a real a*s, and spend an entire paragraph talking about the punctuation and spelling errors in the posts left by the two negative parties involved here, but I'll refrain from that too. Although, it seems that's really all that's going on here now. I came to this website, because I was told that the company that I work for was being ran into the ground by a couple of people who used to work for ES. I felt that it was just as much my responsibility as it was theirs to inform the 'masses' about the way ES runs their business. It seems to me, now, that it is more of a pissing contest between the disgruntled employees and the satisfied employees. I really have no desire to be involved in such childish behaviors. I have been out of kindergarten for far too many years to have any desire to go back. My whole goal for being involved in these posts was to simply let people know that not all of us who work for ES are as unhappy as it seems these two are. It seems funny to me that they are the only two individuals willing to come say how unhappy they are. And yet, they claim that they know at least a dozen other teams who are just as unhappy. I guess Pardel and Paula are their spokesmen. /shrug This website is designed to inform consumers about companies who truly are deceitful in the methods they use for running their businesses. It's not designed for people to use as a place to come b***h about how unhappy they were with the money they did or didn't make with said company. If ES were actually 'stealing' money from it's employees, the plain and simple fact is, they wouldn't have anyone working for them. When you receive a statement from ES, it clearly lists the deductions that are coming out of your check (as it does with any company you work for). If you have a hard time understanding those deductions, then the problem lies with YOU, not ES. If you are unhappy that you are required to put 10, 20 or 30 percent of your pay into the savings plan (which covers your tuition), then you shouldn't have signed the contract. If that is difficult for you understand, let me rephrase ... If you couldn't read or understand the way the contract was laid out, you should have contacted a friend or family member to read it for you and explain to you what it meant. It really is that simple. And just to clarify, for those of you that are saying you can simply acquire your CDL B and use a rented truck to learn to drive ... that may be the case, but you should also tell the individuals that are interested how hard it is to get a job in this industry without driving experience. Especially in the expediting field. Try calling the expedite companies and asking them how long you have to drive before they will even consider hiring you. Here, let me just do it for you. Fed-Ex - Requires six months of driving experience and Haz-Mat endorsements. Panther - Requires six months of driving experience. Tri-State - Requires six months of driving experience. Landstar - Requires one year of driving experience. Diamond Delivery - Requires one year of driving experience. This is just a small sample of the companies we contacted. My husband and I spent many long hours researching the requirements of these companies before we applied with ES. We know what all of them pay, we know the requirements, and we've talked to reps from all of these companies. We've also fully read through the things each of them list on their websites. We do believe we made an informed decision in coming to ES. It's NOT that easy to acquire your CDL B, hop in some random fleet owners truck and just get to work with one of these companies. I won't say it can't be done. I'm sure their are certainly fleet owners out there who have two feet in the door of most of these companies, and they could probably get the driving requirements waived. But, finding these fleet owners isn't always an easy thing to accomplish. In fact, it can be downright painful. I know, we tried. The reason we came to ES is because we really knew very little about driving truck. My husband spent many years with USF Holland, as a dock supervisor before we decided to venture into driving truck. He knew all the ins and outs of being on the management side of truck driving, but nothing about actually being on the road. We were heavily depending on ES to teach us everything we needed to know about being out there and surviving. We got exactly what we expected from them, and more. Not only did they teach us to drive the trucks, but they gave us a room to stay in for two weeks, put us in a truck, coached us through the CDL testing, gave us financial tools to help us on the road, set us up with a full-time financial advisor and to this day they continue to give us support and advice any time we need it. I will end this by simply stating that ES is not a company hell-bent on trickery, deceitfulness or anything else of the sort. When you are in class, they tell you all about the good and the bad of being a truck driver. They show you pay stubs from current teams (both the high and low ones), they tell you right up front that sometimes making money in this field isn't easy. They do everything they can to educate you on how important fuel conservation is, as well as how important it is to accept all loads and not to take a lot of time off. Never, do they sugar-coat the truth and make you think that you will be making money hand-over-fist in this industry. In fact, they do quite the opposite. I do not feel that at any time, ES tried to deceive us or lie to make things seem better than they were. I still do not feel that to this day. I sincerely hope that the individuals reading this, who happen to be interested in ES as a fleet owner, do some investigating themselves before taking the word of two disgruntled employees. It's more than obvious to me that they're only goal is to make ES out to be the bad guy. Has anyone concidered the possibility that the problem actually lies with the disgruntled employees posting on this site? Maybe their is more to their story than meets the eye. Have a blessed day, and happy trucking. =)

Everything Pardel and myself has written on here is the 100% truth. I also have statements to back up everything. Her statement of how the schooling went is almost identical to ours. The only thing different was we didn't even get the opportunity to meet with Kyle for 24hrs, as he was out of town when we attended. He did finally come in 3 days past time, talked for maybe 2 hrs. and that was it. As far as the rest of the schooling it was just as Pardel stated. We arrived to school on Jan. 1 (of all days, like anything was open). They sent us to have our physicals,(which we didnt get that day due to being a holiday). Then sat around chit chatting with a few people that were there then went back to the house for the rest of the day. On Tue. we went to get our DOT physical, sat around in class, going over very little, given our pretrip inspection sheet, and then was sent on our way again. 3rd day, we went down to take our test, passed, went out and went over the pre trip once, on the range (by this time another couple had came in). Worked on the range for approx. 2 hrs. sent back to the house.4th day went driving out on the roadway for the first time, went out 1 more time the next day, then tested. We did all the practicing on the range after hrs. by ourself as that is what they instructed us to do. (after hrs. when they all left). All of our studying was done on our own time together without any help from them. All they were interested in going over in class was just as Pardel stated, telling you in a round about way that they are going to be screwing you royaly. I would advise anyone who needs to obtain a class B license to not go to ES. You will come out a lot better doing it on your own and renting a truck to take the test in. You will learn more that way, not to mention you will save yourself $7995.00 by the time your done. I also do not know about Charles either, as he was a driver when we attended also. I do know there was not 1 single thing they did or covered in their school that was worth 1000.00 much less $7995.00. All you pay for are lies. You sit and talk to others there was no kind of schooling taught. As I stated before my husband and I were newbies to the expediting industry, but it is a shame to find a company that will rip off hard working people and can care less that they are doing it. what kind of school is worth going to that by the time you leave you do not know how to fill out a logbook. That was our case along with many others. So you pay all that money and they dont even teach you how to do that, what kind of school is that. You think it's worth $7995.00, then go right ahead, but I bet you will be sorry by the time you are with them for less than 2 months. Just a heads up on how they really are. Also you do not need to have someone such as stephanie try to tak to you about relationships, such as preaching on how couples should or could react to each other in stressful situations, and also on respecting others. They need to get someone who knows a little about life and the real world, before sending her in to preach adult topics to adults older than herself. How would someone like that know anything about what goes on on the road when you are barely old enough to buy alchol, and sit behind a desk.

Save yourself a lot of pain and grief! Yes, Expedite Solutions will help you get your CDL. I do not know how Charles does his "training" as he was driving when we were there. This is how our training went. What we did at the shool, stood around and talked with the other couple. We were given a 4 page contract on my husbands CDL to sign, they took copies of my CDL, ,my husbands DL, our birth certificates, social security cards ect. Explained to us we had to keep these items in the truck, played on the computer when we had nothing else to do. Meet the Expedite Solutions staff. Walked out and looked at the truck my husband and the other couple would "train" in. Meet with Adam, where he gave us a projection sheet on our finances. we were sent to take a drug screen and physical. Keith was actually taken out to practice 'driving' 3 times for a total of maybe a couple of hours. Keith and Bonnie & Gary M were given the DMV manuel (you can pick it up at any DMV office for free). We were told to go back to the 'house' and study for the pre-trip inspection with each other. The pre-trip inspection was gone over with them one time with the trainer very quickly right before they were sent to the DMV to take the actual test (in other words, everyone trains each other), the rest was us doing it together by ourselves. We were sent to meet this financial advisor you are required to pay 25 per week to. (that adds up to $1250.00 per year). Oh yes, Kyle spends one day telling you how most people don't make it through the first 3 months and how not to beleive the other drivers because they will lie to you about Expedite Solutions. (That should have been one of our first clues) We actually did talk to a couple that had come in off the road for a breif time while we were there and they did tell us Expedite Solutions was a ripoff, of course by this time we had only just had this talk with Kyle about disgruntled employees telling lies and not to beleive them so we thought "ok, this is who he must of been talking about". He also explained to us how he had 100 percent turn-over in drivers. (Now we know why, and it has nothing to do with the industry.) Adam did a 'finance class', basically telling you how they are going to rip you off, of course at the time we did not understand it. Adam is very good at talking in circles and not anwsering questions. Then Keith and Bonnie & Gary were sent to take the DMV written test, Keith and Bonnie passed it, Gary went back the next day and took it a second time and passed it. The next day they were sent to take the driving part, Keith and Gary passed it, Bonnie went back and passed it the next day. That concluded the 'schooling'. Keith and I were sent to Panther for orientation and Bonnie and Gary were sent to Express 1 for orientation. Then the starvation starts. We were lucky we had money to fall back on, Bonnie and Gary were not so lucky, we sent them money twice from our own pockets that we had to draw from our savings account just for them to have money for food. The figures I posted are the real payroll sheet that we were paid on from Expedite Solutions. As for the contract this is an actual excerpt from the contract: "Expedite Solutions is not the manufacturer of the equipment and is not a dealer in similar equipment. Expedite Solutionjs has not made and does not make any representation, warranty or covenant of any kind, express or implied, with respect to the equipment, its design or condition, operation, durability, suitability or fitness. Lessee has inspected and is fully familiar with the equipment and accepts the equipment "as is" with any and all faults." By the time you are given this sheet to sign you are already in debt to Expedite Solutions for 7995.00. The equipment (truck) is very sub-standard. As for repairs, everytime we called with a major repair we were told 'NO' to run with it as it is. This is the absolute truth and Expedite Solutions knows it is. As for Gus & Kristy, I do not know them, if Charles trained them they are fairly new. When Keith went through the 'training' Charles and his wife were on the road driving. Gus, Kristy, I am very glad you are happy with Expedite Solutions, you say you did not have the same experience as the rest of us. I find this amazing. Everyone I know from Expedite Solutions has had the same experience. As for what I say, I do have proof of everything. If we were treated well, as you say you are we would still be with Eexpedite Solutions today. Future driver, I say 'future' as Kyle generally sticks with inexperienced vulnerable couples, I have said before and I will say again, if you want to drive for this company I wish you the best of luck!

Lessee has inspected and is fully familiar with the equipment and accepts the equipment "as is" with any and all faults." AS FAR AS BEING HAPPIER NOW WE DEFINATELY ARE. WHEN WE LEFT KYLE WE WERE STILL NEWBIES TO THE BUSINESS, BUT STILL MADE OUT 10 TIMES BETTER NOW. WHY? BECAUSE 1. WE DONT HAVE A PIECE OF s**t TRUCK THAT YOU HAVE TO STUFF BLANKETS AROUND THE DOORS AND WINDOWS JUST TO HELP HOLD IN WHAT LITTLE BIT OF HEAT YOU HAD. 2. WE HAVE A TRUCK THAT CAN GET MORE THAN 4-5 MPG WHICH MAKES A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE. 3. I HAVE AN OWNER NOW WHO RUNS HIS TRUCK THE WAY THEY SHOULD BE RAN. AS FAR AS THE DOT INSPECTONS, WE NEVER HAD ONE DONE. WE WERE WILLING TO TAKE IT IN AND HAVE ONE DONE AND HE GOT WORRIED THEN AND FINALLY AGREED TO FIX OUR TRUCK (BUT ONLY THEN). MAKES YOU WONDER WHY HUH. BECAUSE HE ALREADY KNEW IT WAS A PIECE OF s**t TO START WITH. AND AS FAR AS A CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR GOES, I BELIEVE IF I'M GOING TO PAY $7995.00 FOR A SCHOOL, THEN YOU NEED TO BE TAUGHT BY SOMEONE WHO HAS UP TO DATE CERTIFICATION TO DO SO. IF THEY DONT THEN YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY THAT AMOUNT. THAT WOULD BE THE SAME AS SOMEONE TRYING TO DO THE JOB I USED TO DO (WHICH REQUIRED A CERTIFICATION) (NURSING), JUST BECAUSE THEY WERE AROUND SOMEONE WHO WAS A NURSE OR KNEW SOMEONE THAT WAS A NURSE. ANYONE WHO HAS GIVING SOMEONE A TYLENOL,IS DOING SOMETHING A NURSE DOES, BUT THAT DOES NOT MAKE THEM A NURSE. YOU STILL NEED A CERTIFICATION. THERES NO DIFFERENCE WITH SOMEONE WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BE AN INSTRUCTOR. ANYONE CAN READ A PIECE OF PAPER AND GO OVER A PRETRIP WITH THEM, THAT DOESNT MAKE YOU A CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR. AN EXPERIENCED DRIVER--MAYBE BUT NOT AN INSTRUCTOR. AS FAR AS YOU ESCROW GOES YOU HAD ONLY HOPE YOU RECEIVE YOUR MONIES BACK WHEN YOU DO LEAVE HIS COMPANY. I HAVE TALKED TO QUITE A FEW EX EMPLOYEES, WHO STAYED THEIR YR. BUT DID NOT RECEIVE THEIR MONEY BACK FOR NUMEROUS DIFFERENT REASONS. COUNT YOURSELF LUCKY IF YOU ARE HAPPY WITH THEM, YOU ARE ONE OF THE FEW. (BUT SINCE WHEN DID THE WHOLE FLEET BECOME YOUR TRUCKS)? I AM REFERRING TO YOU SENTANCE WHICH SEEMED TO BE MORE FROM AN OFFICE PERSON THAN A DRIVER. YOU ARE RIGHT ON THE ASPECT EVERY TRUCK AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER HAS PROBLEMS AND EVERYONE KNOWS THAT. BUT WHEN YOU DO PAY THEIR ASTRONOMICAL PRICES TO ATTEND THEIR SCHOOL YOU WOULD EXPECT TO GET A TRUCK THAT WILL RUN MORE THAN IT DOESNT. THE TRUCK WE HAD WAS A TRAINING TRUCK ONLY UNTIL THEY GAVE IT TO US. THEN AFTER WE QUIT IT WAS PULLED OFF THE ROAD. CANT MAKE A LIVING IF YOU SPEND MORE TIME WAITING ON REPAIR MEN ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD THEN RUNNING. AND WHEN YOU HAVE TO PLACE SEVERAL CALLS TO GET SOMEONE TO HELP IS ALSO RIDICULOUS. WE SAT ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD OVER 8 HRS FOR A TIRE CHANGE, AFTER HAVING TO CALL ES 4 SEPERATE TIMES OVER A 2 HR SPAN BEFORE ANYONE EVEN RETURNED OUR CALL. SOME 24 HR HOTLINE. I ALWAYS THOUGHT A HOTLINE WAS JUST THAT, NOT HRS AND HRS LATER. THATS JUST A CALL LEAVE A MESSAGE AND WE WILL GET AHOLD OF YOU WHEN WE FEEL LIKE IT. SO AS FAR AS YOUR STATING THE REAL ISSUE IS WETHER HE FIXES HIS TRUCKS, WELL THAT GOES TO SAY WHAT PIECE OF s**t YOUR IN. OURS HE STATED HE WAS NOT PUTTING ANYMORE MONEY IN IT BECAUSE HE WAS GOING TO TAKE IT OFF THE ROAD BECAUSE OF THE SHAPE OF IT. (SO WHATS THAT SAYING). THEREFOR HE ENDANGERED US AND EVERYONE ON THE ROAD CAUSE HE DIDNT WANT TO PUT ANYMORE MONEY IN IT. BUT YET HE PUT US IN IT. CARING MAN HUH! AND IF HIS TRUCKS WERE SO GOOD WHY DOES HE PREACH TO YOU IN YOUR (JOKE) SCHOOLING TO NOT CONTACT YOUR CARRIER WHEN YOU BREAK DOWN. WE STARTED CONTACTING OUR CARRIER AND THEY WERE STARTING TO GET A LITTLE IRATE EVERYTIME WE HAD SOMETHING GO WRONG, WHY BECAUSE IT WAS SOOOO FREQUENT. HE DOESNT WANT THEM TO KNOW SO HE WONT BE FORCED TO YANK THE TRUCK OFF THE ROAD. MAKES ME WONDER WHY HE FINALLY YANKED OURS AFTER IT WAS RETURNED. MAYBE BECAUSE OUR CARRIER SAID SOMETHING. DRIVER TURNOVER IS HIGH EVERYWHERE I ALSO AGREE TO THAT, BUT I DONT THINK MANY SCHOOLS HAVE A HIGH OF A TURNOVER RATE AS HE DOES. KYLE WANTS A LOT OF HIS PEOPLE TO QUIT, I WILL ALWAYS BELIEVE THAT. IF THEY DIDNT QUIT HE COULDNT STAY IN BUSINESS. HE NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO SUE PEOPLE TO BE ABLE TO KEEP HIS PIECE OF s**t TRUCKS ON THE ROAD. HOW DO YOU THINK HE CAN AFFORD TO BUT THE NEW TRUCKS (THAT I KNOW QUITE A FEW OF ARE ALSO HAVING MAJOR MECHANICAL ISSUES). FUEL----LETS SEE HOW TO CONSERVE FUEL. WE DIDNT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THAT, WE WENT NOWHERE OTHER THAN TO OUR PICKUPS OR DELIVERIES, OTHER THAN A FEW AND I MEAN FEW DH OR EM. AGAIN I WILL TELL YOU WHY, WE WERE ALWAYS BROKE WORKING FOR HIM. WE BARELY HAD ENOUGH TO BUY FOOD TO SURVIVE, AND WHEN YOU AVERAGE THE BAD BAD FUEL MILEAGE THAT WE DID YOU DIDNT GO ANYWHERE, YOU COULDNT AFFORD IT, SO I DONT WANT TO HEAR ITS BECAUSE OF UNNECESSARY RUNNING AROUND. ALSO TIME OFF WE TOOK TIME OFF 1 TIME IN THE 3 1/2 MONTHS WE WERE THERE, FOR A WHOLE 2 DAYS AND GOT BUGGED BY STEPHANIE THEN ABOUT WHY WERE WE OUT OF SERVICE. THIS AFTER BEING OUT THERE FOR THAT AMOUNT OF TIME. THE REST OF OUR VACATIONS,AS YOU CALLED THEM CAME FROM SITTING IN MOTELS WONDERING WHEN WE WERE GOING TO BE ABLE TO RUN AGAIN AND FOR HOW LONG THIS TIME. MILAGE IS EVERYTHING IN THIS JOB, AND YES IT DOES DEPEND ON WHAT YOUR CARRIER GIVES YOU BUT IF YOU RUN BETWEEN 4-6000 MILES A WEEK IN THEIR SLOW PERIOD AND ONLY MAKE BETWEEN 300.00-HIGHEST 700.00 SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THAT PICTURE. AND AS I ALSO STATED BEFORE I STARTED WITH MY OWN PHONE AND COMPUTER SO THEREFOR I DIDNT EVEN HAVE THOSE EXPENSES. (EXCEPT FOR WHEN THEY WOULD TRY TO CHARGE ME FOR THEM ANYWAY, WHICH WAS MORE THAN ONCE). IT CANT ALL LIE ON THE DRIVERS WHEN THEY ARE MORE THAN WILLING TO WORK BUT YET COME OUT WITH NOTHING. THIS COMPANY IS A BIG SCAM AND NO ONE WILL EVER CONVINCE ME THEY ARE NOT. I BELIEVE HE HAS BECAME A PROFFESSIONAL CON ARTIST OVER THE YEARS HE HAS BEEN DOING THIS. IF YOU WANT NOTHING, YOU WILL HAVE IT FROM THEM. IF YOU GO BACK AND LOOK INTO EXPEDITORS ONLINE FROM AT LEAST A YR AGO THERE ARE A LOT OF THE SAME COMPLAINTS THEN WHATS THAT SAYING. EVERYONE IS JUST MAKING IT ALL UP. WAKE UP!!!

IF I AM PAYING $7995.00 FOR A DRIVING "SCHOOL". I WOULD WANT TO KNOW THAT THE SCHOOL HAD A CERTIFIED DRIVING INSTRUCTOR. CERTIFIED BY THE STATE TO TEACH A DRIVING SHCOOL. THINKING ABOUT IT, LOOKS TO ME LIKE A 'SHCOOL' WOULD BE REQUIRED TO HAVE A REAL INSTRUCTOR? SEEMS LIKE YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET SOMEONE TO 'TEACH' YOU FOR LESS THEN THAT IF NO CERTIFICATION IS NEED. HMMM, IF YOU DON'T NEED A REAL INSTRUCTOR WHY NOT JUST GO TO THE FIRST TRUCK STOP, GET ON THE CB AND ASK SOMEONE IF THEY WILL TAKE A COUPLE OF HOURS AND TEACH YOU TO DRIVE THEIR TRUCK. BET YA WILL PAY A LOT LESS. OFFER A $1000.00 SEE HOW MANY TAKE YA UP ON IT! GUESS I COULD TEACH YOU, DAVEKIMM, YOU WANT TO LEARN FOR 7995.00, I'LL TAKE A COUPLE OF HOURS NEXT TIME I'M IN INDIANAPPOLIS AND TEACH FOR HALF OF THAT. :-)

In response to the above questions, I can only say what I know first-hand or from experience with this company. Being a driver that has only been with ES for going on five months, I could be slightly off on some of this. 1. AS FOR THEIR TRUCKS, THINK ON IT! A TRUCK WITH 700,000 - 900,000 MILES WITH NO MECHANICAL PROBLEMS? DOES THAT SOUND PLAUSIBLE TO YOU? - I don't believe that anyone here is stating that we don't have issues with our trucks. My husband and I have been very fortunate so far, and the only major issue we've had with any of our three trucks was a bad sensor. This was the above mentioned time that we spent a night in a hotel. Our other truck problems involved only comfort issues (inverter, microwave, a fridge that died, etc). Obviously, you aren't going to find a truck on the road that doesn't encounter problems of some sort. Hell, even brand new trucks have issues! Even if you get into the 2008 trucks, you have to deal with problems involving 'recycling' the sulfur when you're truck has been idoling too long and it's not burning the sulfur off on it's own. I've never been to a single truck stop in the U.S. that didn't have a line at the repair shop with drivers needing repairs. And, let me remind you, they don't all drive for Kyle. EVERYONE has problems with vehicles, whether they are big trucks, cop cars, personal vehicles, or you're driving farm equipment. However, the real issue that needs to be addressed here is whether or not Kyle fixes his trucks, or if they are safe for driving. The answer to that is clearly, yes. Again, I will state that in the three DoT inspections my husband and I have had to endure, we've never been cited with repairs that had to be fixed for us to be able to safely drive. In fact, we didn't even have lights out on the truck for them to cite us on. If the trucks that Kyle is giving drivers were considered unsafe, surely we wouldn't be passing DoT inspections. 2. WHY HAS EXPEDITE SOLUTIONS ONLY CERTIFIED DRIVING INSTRUCTOR QUIT THE SCHOOL? - I can only assume you're referring to Shelby here. When I started at ES, Charles was the only instructor there. I met Shelby (a former employee of ES) while I was at C1 doing my range and driving tests. She was very warm and welcoming to all of the ES drivers, and even spoke to Charles while we were there. All I know of her leaving ES was because she started working next door for C1 as a driving instructor for range and road testing. I guess you'd have to ask her why she left ES, although I think you're getting ahead of yourself in assuming she left because she wasn't happy there. She certainly didn't seem unhappy associating with all of us 'ES' drivers, students or even Charles when we were at C1. /shrug 3. WHY HAS JASON THE MECHANIC QUIT? - I have no idea who Jason is. Can't speak for this one. Any time we've had repairs done on our trucks, it's been at a truck stop, freightliner dealer or Stoops in Indy. I will say this, though ... The guy that we went to see when we picked up our 2008 a few weeks ago at Stoops was extremely friendly. He actually got in our truck with us and explained everything he'd done to the truck to make it more comfortable for us. He went into great detail with us about all of the things Kyle is doing with the new 2008's to make them more driver friendly. He even stated that if he were going to be a truck driver, this is the truck he'd drive. He was like a kid in a candy store when he was going through all of the work he'd done to the new trucks. He had nothing but kind words about Kyle. 4. WHY IS A 'DRIVER' NOW TEACHING THE 'SCHOOL'? - Why is it unacceptable for a former truck driver to be instructing at a truck driving school? This one baffles me. Honestly, in my experience in the work industry, I think this is a welcome change! I can't tell you how many times I've been trained at a job by some 'higher up' who knows a lot about a company, but has never stepped foot behind the scenes to actually DO the work, only for you to realize later that the information you received wasn't even accurate. In my opinion, it's ALWAYS better to be trained by someone who's had first-hand knowledge of the job either in the past or the present. Charles is a really great instructor, and he knows a whole lot, not only about the trucks you will be driving, but about the trucking industry as a whole. I'm surprised that anyone would disagree with Kyle's decision on this aspect. 5. WHY ISN'T THERE A CERTIFIED DRIVING INSTRUCTOR AT EXPEDITE SOLUTIONS? - Didn't you already ask this one? I think the above paragraph pretty much explains that. 6. WHY DOES KYLE STATE IN THE 'CLASSROOM' HE HAS 100% DRIVER TURN OVER? - Just a word of information for anyone who wants to drive truck, or for those who already do ... the ENTIRE trucking industry has a turnover rate that's as high, or pretty close to this. There are many people who get into this field and find out very quickly how hard it can be to drive truck. It seems like the perfect solution to having the 'freedom to do as you choose'. However, the reality hits hard and fast when you actually get into that truck. Let me give you a few examples: A. You rarely get to shower more than 3-4 times a week. This can be especially hard for a female to get used to. I know, I happen to be female. =) B. Sleeping in a moving truck, on bumpy or icy roads, in the rain or construction is the pits. I can't tell you how many nights I've laid awake in the back of the truck while by husband was behind the wheel and got no sleep. It takes a LOT of getting used to, let me tell you. And, having to get up and drive the next day, on almost no sleep, is even worse! C. Shopping for toiletries and groceries is a bear! You can rarely find a place to park your truck, and even Wal-Marts are starting to put up 'No Truck' signs and height barriers at almost every entrance to their stores now. It doesn't make for a good day when you really need to buy things, and the only Wal-Mart in the area refuses your business simply because you drive a truck. D. Your money solely depends on how many miles your carrier gives you, as well as the price of fuel. Yes, I said 'How many miles your carrier gives you'. Not 'How many miles you CHOOSE to drive'. My husband and I love to work. We are hard, diligent workers and sitting around on our butts does NOT make us happy. In addition to that, we WANT to make money. Who doesn't? It's very easy to get frustrated when you've had a really great first couple of days and then they send to Bumf*ck, Nowhere and suddenly you're stuck there for five days without a load. Yeah, that hurts the pay check, believe me. Keep in mind, though ... this is NOT something that ES has control over, this is your CARRIER's issue (Panther, Express 1, etc). In addition to that, if you burn more fuel than the revenue you take in, you don't make money. That means idoling your truck to stay warm or cool while you sleep, deadhead miles that the carrier doesn't reimburse you for, or any running around you need to do (i.e. trips to the store, site-seeing, etc). These are just a few of the reasons that brand new teams end up saying 'Screw This, I'm Outta Here' after first going out on the road. I have no doubt that couples have left Kyle because they didn't like things to do with ES. I can give you so many examples of other teams on the road with Fed-Ex, TriState, Panther, Landstar, etc that are equally unhappy. I've talked to so many teams on the road now, and every single one of them will give you a different story. NO single company can keep ALL of the employees under them happy. Everyone in the work force should know this by now. 7. WHY DOES SO MANY DRIVERS QUIT EXPEDITE SOLUTION? - See question 6. 8. WHY ARE ALL OF EXPEDITE SOLUTIONS DRIVERS 'NEW' TO THE INDUSTRY? - Umm, why not? It's a truck driving school. How many drivers that have been on the road for years are going to head back to trucking school? Seems like this question can answer itself, if you ask me. 9. WHY WOULD WE LEAVE EXPEDITE SOLUTIONS IF WE WERE TREATED WELL? - Again, I will state that NO SINGLE company in America can make everyone happy? Maybe you were looking for things that ES simply doesn't offer. Maybe the communication level between you and ES was lacking or non-existent. Maybe you wanted more money than you could make with the carriers provided at ES. Maybe you didn't like the truck you were given. Who knows ... only you can answer that. But, keep in mind, that your answer doesn't necessarily mean that ALL drivers coming through this school will end up feeling the same way you do now. 10. WE ARE STILL DRIVING IT IS JUST FOR ANOTHER TRUCK OWNER WHOM WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH? - Good for you. I have no doubt by the posts you've left here about Kyle that you are much happier. I hope you have continued success in your continuing endeavors! =) 11. WHY ARE WE MAKING SO MUCH MORE NOW THAT WE ARE WORKING FOR SOMEONE ELSE? WE ARE DRIVING LESS MILES, GOING HOME FOR A WEEK EACH MONTH, AND STILL MAKING 3 AND 4 TIMES WHAT WE WERE WITH EXPEDITE SOLUTIONS? - Maybe you are more experienced now? Maybe you've learned better ways at conserving money? Maybe you are better at conserving fuel? Maybe you have found a fleet owner who takes a smaller cut? Maybe you are making more per mile than you were at ES? Maybe your fuel surcharge is higher now? I have no doubt that there are many contributing factors as to why you'd be making more money now than you were at ES. But, stating from personal experience with ES, I seriously doubt it's because ES was 'stealing' money that didn't rightfully belong to them. Congratulations on your new trucking job. I hope that you see continued success with your new company. I sincerely mean that. We are all out here to make money. =)

We have been reading this thread with great interest since we both were just day's away from submitting our applications to this company. There have been complete horror stories as well as glowing reports from current employee's as well as ex-employees .We have e-mailed ES with url's from this posting trying to get a response from them and asking why we should consider signing on with such negative comments about their treatment of they're employees. We never received a reply. We did however notice that after we sent them that e-mail that current employees started to comment with praise for ES.This really got us to thinking that maybe, these were possibly made up comments praising ES from an office worker of ES or that maybe they were genuine, sincere comments from their satisfied drivers. We are serious about starting a new career in trucking and we just don't want to make a huge mistake by signing on with a company that will stab us in the back right off the bat so to speak. Since ES is about a mile from our home,it looked like a great solution to what we have been looking for as far as getting training, driving straight truck experence and mentoring in a field we know little about. We were hoping for a one stop shop for our needs but now, we are uncertain about getting involved with ES. We welcome all to comment they're experences with ES by dropping us an e-mail at... [email protected] and look forward to try to clear up this confusion about what we should do to try to enter this new business for ourselves.

My husband and I are current employees of Expedite Solutions, and like the other team that responded today, we can only respond with our own experiences and opinions of Expedite Solutions. We started with ES in August of '07. We were very impressed with the training we got from day one. The curriculum was a little off, as far as what classes were scheduled and when, but the content was all there and thorough. As stated above, we were absolutely expected to do most of our learning on our own. However, we expected nothing less. When you come in, you are expected to know what you need to in order to pass your Indiana License test. You are also expected to know the written testing for your CDL's. You are given all the information for your Pre-Trip Inspection testing, and there are instructors available at any time of the day to help you study for this section. The class time was primarily to educate you on keeping logs, learning how to conserve fuel, the basics of truck driving, Expedite Solutions background, CBS (financial advisor) information and some basic mechanics (to help you keep your truck running more efficiently). We found every single class that we attended to be full of useful information and very well put together. Our main instructor, Charles, was fabulous. Being a former driver (and having driven for Exp. Sol.), he knew a whole wealth of things about what we would encounter on the road. We soaked up everything he told us and still asked a ton of questions. He was more than helpful, he was a fundamental 'dictionary of truck driving'. To this day, we still call on Charles when we have questions or problems and just want advice. The entire duration of our training at ES was pleasant. We were given free room and board at a house just a few blocks from school for the entirety of our training. We had instructors available for questions any time we needed them. We had full, hands-on driving training both on the road as well as on the range. All of the staff at ES were extremely helpful and knowledgable. Upon completion of our training, we were given a whole list of websites to help us on the road (including sites that help you find the cheapest fuel for your truck - This is EXTREMELY helpful in making you successful on the road). We were also given a binder full of information that we could 'look back on' whenever we needed a reminder of what we learned in classes. In addition to the written materials you receive from ES, you also have a complete support system of people who are willing to help you at any time of the night or day. I can't count how many times we've called Charles or the Emergency Line in the wee hours of the morning because we got our truck stuck, ran out of gas or had a question that couldn't wait until the morning. Never have we been treated poorly, even during those nighttime hours. We have always been greeted with a welcome voice, and friendly know-how. I can't begin to describe how nice that is when it's 3am, you're stressed, and your truck is blocking the entire driveway of a customer because you tried to turn it around in an area too small for your truck, thus getting it stuck in the grass. =) As far as the contract goes ... we were given our contract (in full) on the first day of our training. We were instructed to take them with us, read them in full and keep them for the rest of the week. We were given MORE than ample time to read, re-read, share with friends (or an attorney) and even make copies and mail them to family, if we so desired. We were not, in any way, made to feel that we couldn't take the time to fully understand what we were signing. In addition, every single dime we owed to ES was detailed in that contract ... even those monies that would be owed if we left before our year was up, AND what we would owe if we didn't give two weeks notice (in order to give them time to replace us with another team). There was absolutely NOTHING that we found out AFTER signing our contract that was a surprise to us. If we had felt uncomfortable with our contract, we certainly would have never signed it. In regards to 'hidden expenses' ... We were told before we even came to ES that we would need internet access in order to put our loads in each week. Since we didn't have a laptop, we opted to take one out on loan from ES. Now, let me state for the record, you absolutely do NOT need to have a laptop to work for ES. Nearly EVERY major truck stop in the U.S. has internet access for you to use. Flying J has a terminal that you can even pay by the minute, should you choose not to pay for monthly or annual internet access. ES does NOT force you to have a laptop. Should you choose to take one out on loan from ES, you pay a weekly rate for it. Did you expect this to be free ...? Naturally, this fee comes out AFTER your 52%, as it's a bill YOU owe, not one that ES owes. I'm not sure how anyone could expect this to be different. The only other 'expenses' that come out of our weekly pay check are the work insurance (required by pratically any trucking company) and CBS (the financial advisor). By the way, CBS is optional for each team. You aren't required to use them, therefore you CHOOSE to have this deduction as well. If you didn't want to pay for the help that CBS offers, you didn't have to. Never, ever, ever have our paychecks been late or incorrect with ES. There has only been one occasion that we were supposed to receive a reimbursement that we didn't receive. After sending an email to Adam, the matter was resolved the very next morning. No questions asked. In addition to that, we have never had money taken from our paycheck that shouldn't have been taken. Any money that was taken was either owed (as a result of a paycheck advancement) or payment for our computer, insurance or CBS. ES does take money from your pay just to suit there bank account. That's absurd. If they did, no one would be working here. Now, about the trucks. We have now had three trucks in the almost five months we've been with ES. Our first truck was a 2001 Freightliner that had approximately 750,000 miles on it. We drove this truck for less than two months before we were called to come in and pick up an upgrade. We didn't have that truck very long, but we had no issues with it. Our next truck was also a 2001 Freightliner, but it had a lot of in-cab upgrades (such as a TV, DVD player, Queen sized bed, dinette, etc). We were thrilled to get this truck because it made living on the road a lot more comfortable. We are now coming into our fifth month, and we were just given a brand new, 2008 Freightliner. It's beautiful! It is fully equipped with everything a trucker needs, and more. It only had 400 miles on it when we got it. As you can see, you aren't placed in and out of trucks at ES all because they are 'bad' trucks. In fact, all three of our trucks have been safe and very comfortable to live in. We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly we were 'promoted' in our trucks. No fleet owner in the trucking business is required to give you a truck with ammenties such as those in the new trucks that Kyle offers. He isn't required to pay for a TV, DVD player, microwave or inverter for your truck ... but, he does. Why? Because Kyle is a fleet owner that happens to care if his employees are happy on the road. How could anyone complain about that? Someone mentioned in a previous post that if you've had several DoT inspections, it must be because there are problems with your truck. I can't even believe someone who drives (or has driven truck) would say that. First of all, DoT inspections are RANDOM. You can be inspected by DoT at any time, day or night and in any state. They can pull you over on the road, at a rest area, at a truck stop or in a weight station. And, they need no reason to do so. Do you think there are blinking signs on 'bad' trucks that say 'Inspect me, my fleet owner doesn't do repairs' ... ?? We've had three DoT inspections now, and we've passed all of them with flying colors. Why? Because our trucks are maintained and in proper working order. That is a direct relection of Kyle Ochs and Expedite Solutions, as well as the driver that is responsible for keeping the maintenance up-to-date on the trucks. We have had very few issues with our trucks, and every one of those times have come with little hassle. We've never been turned down at a repair shop because ES doesn't pay their bills. We've NEVER been told that we couldn't repair our truck by Kyle or any other ES employee. In fact, they've repaired our truck as soon as we called them every time. The only one time we were down overnight, Kyle called us before we even got to the repair shop to tell us that he'd already set us up in a hotel for the night because the freightliner couldn't get to our truck that day. We didn't even know we were going to need a room, and it was already taken care of. We didn't owe him for this room, HE paid for it and had the repair shop take us there since we had no ride. On another occasion, our microwave broke and we called Stephanie right away. Being a team that prefers to eat in our truck, we were pretty distraught about not being able to cook our food. She was very sympathetic and immediately put money on our T-Chek card so that we could go to Wal-Mart to purchase a new one. Again, ES is not required to provide a microwave in our trucks ... but, they do understand that it makes life easier on the teams if they have them. No hassle, no problem, we got a new one. The same thing happened when our inverter blew up. We called Kyle and he immediately got on the phone with an inverter specialist and made us an appointment. He made sure the repair shop was on the way to our next delivery and he paid to have a new one put in the very next day. How could any team be unhappy with service like that? I could go on all day about why I disagree with the negative comments left on this page about ES. We've been nothing but satisfied with them. The staff is helpful and ready to answer questions at any time. Our repairs are always timely. Our trucks are safe and comfortable. Our paychecks are on time and correct ... every time. Our training was thorough. I guess I just don't understand how anyone couldn't be thankful to have such an award-winning team behind them in such a scary endeavor such as truck driving. My advice to those of you who are unhappy is to just move on. Every company has their pros and cons. It's obvious that you were unhappy, and you left for your own reasons ... but, there is no reason to try and drag everyone else down with you. You certainly don't speak for my husband and I. We are thrilled to have had ES on our side for the past five months. We've learned more than we could have ever imagined about trucking from this company, it's staff and our carrier. Great job, Expedite Solutions ... Keep up the good work!!

I would just like for people to know it has nothing to do with your work ethics with this company. I worked in the nursing field for 10+yrs. have never had a problem working or with any company I have ever worked for in all my years. We do not take time off from work, We are willing to run (as I hate sitting still). This is the first and only company we have ever worked for that we have had problems with. I was a newbie to the trucking industry when I signed on with this company. We did realize very fast something was not right with this company, and quit after 3 1/2 months with them. We still drive for the same carrier company, but with a different owner. We are VERY PLEASED with my our owner, and we have made 5 times the amount of money with him that we could've only hoped to make with Expedite Solutions. I can also add we have a 100% on time rating now, (for almost a yr. we have been with the new owner), where as with Expedite Solutions we were lucky to be on time 50% of the time. You ask why? Because as I stated before, we had a truck that would barely run. The max speed it would go was 60 if you were going downhill, uphill you were lucky to make it to 35mph. (and that was empty). You can not run on time with a truck that will no go. We were told numerous times by them that they know the truck isnt very good and that they are working on upgrading us. We heard that for the whole time we were there. We were not wanting a new truck, we were only wanting a truck that was operable to do our job. This went on for the whole 3 1/2 months that we were there. He would say the same thing "I have nothing available at this time". As far as new couples with no experience starting at the bottom is something that everyone does when they start a new job. Now as I stated I worked in nursing for 10 yrs. but the last 1 yrs.before joining Expedite Solutions I drove a city bus. My husband has had 20+ yrs of truck driving under his belt. No I had never driven a truck before, but it sure didnt take a rocket scientist to figure out that your being ripped off by this company. And as far as his having no other trucks, he was putting new people in better trucks everyday while telling us he had nothing any better. Like I said we didnt want a new truck we just wanted a truck that was up to par to do our job. Like I also stated before, we were broke down more than we were running. Most of the time it was the same problem that we took to numerous garages to be fixed, then were told "no" he will now authorize. The reason stated to us was he wasent putting any more money into that truck. Funny after we quit he yanked it off the road for good. WONDER WHY! As far as Im concerned he broke his contract by putting us in an unsafe truck, and being unable to run. I know when you only average 5mpg something is wrong with the truck. I have a better truck now with a bigger motor, and use a lot less fuel and run at 70-75 mph depending on the speed limit. We run with a c- 10 cat motor and average 9 mpg. at the speeds stated above.(and also run a generator) and still average 9mpg. His FL60 (which was junk) had a 221 hp cat, averaged 5 mpg at 55 mph. Somethings wrong with that. If we did make anything for the week it all went right back into the fuel tank at those averages. Also I cannot see how you can downshift a 7 speed all the way down to get up a hill, and you still cant make it up. We would pray that we would not start rolling backwards while trying to get up. This is his good equipment. Now not to even mention, this truck leaked, had no air, lost the heating in it, and half the guages didnt work. We asked for a different truck before even leaving his lot when we noticed the guages didnt work and we were told the truck was fine. Our very first run was into Canada, and that was also our very first problems with the brakes. So it was an ongoing problem for us. I just cannot believe he would jeopordize peoples lives in the way he does. I'm also not saying that everyones experiences are as bad as ours was, because I do believe he has to have some couples succede in order to keep things running such as he does. Have to keep some happy folks or things will really look bad on your part. I honestly feel he has 1 couple out of every 3 to make it, thats his goal. and the rest are set up to fail so he can make his money.

Here is the pay we made over a couple of months. Gross Rev. $ 5,446.24 (our pay for 2 employees) $ 664.03 and I add that was one of the biggest amounts we ever received. Jan. 29, 2007 statement. Feb. 5 Gross $1845.10 (our pay for 2 employees) $350.00 Feb. 12 Gross Rev. $3545.35 again our pay only $550.29 Feb. (so called bonus) $6338.90 and we got lucky and received $788.11 back. That is just a few statements I took the info off of. They were actually the highest statement amounts we had. These amounts are after running 6000 miles some weeks. Our Year to date Profit and loss For Jan.-Feb. 2007 (straight from the financial advisors printout statement sheet) Our hauling income amounted to $10,248.68 ...lets see if anyone can take a guess as to the amount we came out with for the whole month? It was a big whopping $946.76 which in turn came out to making a whole 9.2%income from Expedite Solutions. I just took this info straight from the income report from their financial advisor. Feb. Profit & Loss Gross hauling income $6521.54 Our income was a BIG $330.15 which gave us making a 5.1% revenue off of our truck. Now how can anyone survive with no other income with these amounts. They cant. This is what you will face when you sign on with Expedite Solutions. I didnt even show the weeks we also were into them with a negative balance. We were told one week we owed them over $700.00, so therefor you pay them to have the privlidge of working for them, and you say this is not a SCAM YEAH RIGHT. One week we were told we owed money, turns out they owed us, another excuse of I overlooked something, or pro's didn't pay out. All they are hoping for is for people to not pay attention to their statements, or keep track of their loads. They do this more frequently then they actually get it right. NO COINCIDENCE AT ALL, AND NOT AN HONEST MISTAKE EITHER. THEY HOPE YOU DON'T CATCH IT. I also done the math, unless you paid off your tuition (in full)when you started with them, there's no way you can have it paid for in less than 3 months. I figured it up on the basis of running 5000 miles a week (and we all know that doesn't always happen), by the time everything was taken out (tuition, financial advisor etc.) and counting on you having your own phone and pc, it would leave you with approx. 1700.00 now I have not even deducted any fuel for the 3 months as of yet. So it seems to me that you would be into Kyle for approx. $3000.00-$4000.00 for the 3 months in the least. (Then if you had the truck we had, you would be into him for 3 times that amount) since we only averaged 5 mpg at 55mph. So I believe something isn't adding up on your end at all. As far as the contract, ours was also broken up, ended up thicker after you signed on, then everything started coming out about this comes out of your 52%, and this, and this. So like I stated you are lucky to come out with a whole 12% of anything you make. Be prepared to lose everything you own if you DO NOT have another source of income when you sign on with this company, because they will sure take it all from you.

I have read the reports and rebuttals posted on this site and felt it was appropriate for me to respond. My wife and I have been driving for Expedite Solutions for some time. Long enough to have gone through all the truck changes, repairs, and pitfalls of the job. I would like to detail our personal experiences rather than comment on what others have said because I cannot personally say whether or not any of these comments are accurate or not. I will follow with my perceptions and comments in summary. First, I would like to give you some of our background. Your personal life experiences, training, education, and prior working background all have an effect on how you approach a new job and handle all the baggage, good and bad, that comes with it. I spent 30 yrs. in industrial maintenance and engineering. I am certified by Mager as a teacher in several technical disciplines and have designed and taught many courses for a fortune 500 company. My wife has considerable experience in treating various animals at an animal hospital and was instrumental in running that business. That said, this is how you must look at being an independent contractor in the trucking arena. This is a business. Sometimes things don't go as well as expected and sometimes they are great. That's the way it is. Unexpected things happen. It's how you deal with them that often makes the difference. When we started at Exp. Sol. we had high expectations. I am used to demanding work with very specific details and getting paid well for performing the required tasks. Did all of you read the contract carefully from end to end? Many of the things that have been mentioned in these complaints were clearly spelled out in the contract. We knew coming in that it might get a little rough at times. We knew full well that we would be paying into the savings plan beginning at 30% and then reducing 10% each 3 month period until the required amount was reached. We knew how we would get paid and when, including fuel surcharges, bonus monies, etc. If you read the contract you had to be aware of the settlement structure. Exp. Sol. has never failed to pay us what was owed to us in a weekly settlement or monthly bonus. Now, that doesnt mean we haven't gotten any negative equity settlements. We have. But there have also been weeks where we got large checks because of the timing of buying fuel or timing on deliveries. We keep meticulous records and we know exactly where we stand, what's owed to us, what our bonus should be, and if any mistakes are made. I can honestly say that I don't believe there has ever been any conscience attempt by anyone at Exp Sol. to deceive us or to alter any portion of what they said they would do in the contract. If you are not keeping accurate records then you should be. You should be comparing every settlement with your own records. People make mistakes and if theyre made you should have a record to refer to. We have not seen many mistakes in the figures. Adam does a very good job of getting it right. Mistakes that have been discovered have been corrected without issue. I believe they are an honest organization and are not scamming or cheating anyone. I've never seen any evidence to suggest that. We started our driving in an old white FL70 with about 700,000 miles on it. Was it perfect? No. Was it safe? Yes. We were the rookies and we dealt with it. Like any job you start at the bottom and prove your worth. We graduated after a couple months to a blue Century Class that also had over 700,000 miles on it. We were glad to get it. It had some small issues due to age but appeared well maintained. Repair issues and PM's were taken care of without issue. At no time were we asked to drive a vehicle that was not safe. A couple months later we were upgraded again to a new 2008 truck. We have encountered a few problems but they have been addressed. We have had to wait while repairs were pending but this was no fault of Exp. Sol. In conversations I have had with Kyle about these issues he has always been amiable and willing to work with us to correct them. I have never seen any unwillingness on his part or Charles to work with us on anything. They have always responded well to emails and phone conversations on our issues. I would expect no less. As far as training goes, I felt that Charles was making a great effort to provide good and effective training. At the time he had not been at it that long but was able to get us the right information and deliver it well. All the people that were there at that time delivered their specific curriculums well and we learned what we needed to learn. Now, like I said before, I am a certified teacher and have designed and taught many classes. I know what it takes to put a training program together. It is a learning experience. Just like a student, a teacher grows and learns while they are instructing. I'm sure the program has improved since we were there and I would expect it to continue to develop because the people behind it care about the effectiveness and results of the schooling. In summary, we believe that Expedite Solutions has delivered exactly what they said they would in their contract and in their classes. People entering into this contract need to read it thoroughly and if they don't understand it all then ask questions or have it reviewed by an attorney. We have never seen any deceitful or dishonest actions on behalf of anyone at Exp. Sol. In contrast, they have been helpful and amiable in their dealings with us so far. We have no reason to distrust them. Believe me, if we thought there was any impropriety in there business with us we would be on it. We are watching because this is our business, and so should you, but we knew what we were getting into when we did this. Did you?

We must have the same pay! Your statements are almost identical to ours. Our biggest paycheck was $749.53, that was after running over 5000 in a week. Most weeks we were lucky to make $300.00, If we didn't owe them. There were numerous weeks we owed them (More so than we didn't). This after accepting all loads, since we were out there losing everything we had before joining on with these crooks. We also done everything they said to do, came in with an open mind, but when you leave a $7.00 hr. job for this company, it's sad to say your better off staying with the $7.00 hr.job. You will make more money. As far as them being so good ( then why has almost all of their original staff quit them). Same reasons from what I am led to understand. They were probably tired of having to lie to the people who came through their class. By the time you are done with this company, you are very tired. Tired of busting your a*s just for them to take it all. How can anyone sit back and say that that is right. You expect to work and be able to survive, NOT WITH THIS COMPANY, they will see to it that you dont just so he can make a living scamming others. And as far as there are a lot of happy people working for him, why do so many end of quitting him if they were happy. Explain that to me. He makes his living banking on you quitting. I have met over 15 couples that either drive for him now (mostly newbies still) who say they are starving. I have also met at least the same amount of couples that have all stated the same things posted on this site. They say he's a crook. I WILL BE GLAD WHN IT ALL CATCHES UP WITH HIM, because eventually it will. You cant say someone is sooo good when more than half the people who have had or just started with him say the same things. NOT A COINCOIDENCE IF YOU ASK ME. Says to me he's became a pro at being a professional con artist.

You say you started at the same time? Then look at the bottom line of what your making, if you really are a driver for Expedite Solutions! I have my doubts. You write strikingly similar to a certain "office" employee of Expedite Solutions. To date I have not met anyone that has had a good experience with Expedite Solutions. I give real paycheck amounts. Whats your bottom line? I see you are saying it is only after the first year you are claiming to make 60% so you are admitting the first year is a year of slavery! As for the contract I am absolutely saying it was not presented in full when we started with Expedite Solutions. It was presented in pieces and then more pages where add to it. What about the CDL situation. I had my CDL for 14 years however upon leaving Expedite Solutions they try to charge me 3500 for my CDL? How dishonest. What about never receiving a final statement? We just received a ridiculous letter saying "we are pretty sure your going to owe us 6995.00" , we are pretty sure? what kind of letter is this? It goes on to explain we could just make them a check for half and call it even. I will be happy to pay them the value of their "school" for my husbands CDL as soon as they pay us the approx $9000. they owe us. March 26 Truck revenue - $2912.80 team pay $344.45 (2 people 172.23 each) April 6 Truck revenue - $3968.25 Team pay $1046.18 (2 people $523.09 each) * * * Fuel Surcharge * * * April 15th gross $4015.53 - Paid $2455.61 (last I checked 100% would be $4015.53) April 16 Truck revenue - $893.30 Team pay $-214.82 (we owe them 2 PEOPLE IN DEBT) April 23 Truck revenue - $7686.00 Team pay $1978.26 (2 people 989.13 each) Been a lot of years since I attended school, so math must have changed a lot. When I attended school these figures did not reflect 60%. For all of you out there thinking of driving for this company. This is the real figures. Straight from the pay sheets sent by Expedite Solutions. You do the math. Then check other companies and other teams and see what you would make with them. Don't be fooled or scammed into a year of slavery. As you can see the only one making money is Expedite Solutions. As for obtaining your CDL. All Expedite Solutions does is give you the Indiana state handbook and tell you to study it, you can pick this book up for free at any DMV office. They then tell you to go over the Pre-trip inspection with your spouse. They do let you use one of their trucks to take the test in, however you can rent a truck to take the test for 75.00. They do tell you about logs. For that go to www.driversdailylog.com and download the 2 month free trial and it will teach you all you need to know about logs. The rest of their school is about them. Their financial advisor, how Kyle started out, ect. Useless information that you as a team could careless about. Bottom line is your out to make a living for yourself and your family. You will not with Expedite Solutions. Check with the DMV for your license needs, you do not need Expedite Solutions to obtain the CLASS B CDL. Go rent a 24 ft U-haul. Take it to a large lot and practice backing, Turning, ect. If you can drive it then you can drive the straight truck, it is the same thing. When you are ready to go on the road contact Tri-State, Panther, Express 1 (all excellent companies) they will direct you to a truck owner that needs drivers. Learn from our experience and save yourself the hurt and financial struggle we went through. Why pay Expedite Solutions $7000.00 and a year of your life for what you can obtain yourself?

Let me say that I am sorry that you had such a bad experience. We started at about the same time but for you to say that all there drivers are unhappy is not true we have never had a problem. As for the 4 trucks anytime a newer truck became available they gave it to us. Further more there are quite a few teams that stuck around after thier first year. So for only two of you to file on here says something too. I am just stating my personal experience. And have talked some other teams that are just as happy. Saying that we must of had the same contract. So I dont think ours was so different why would he deceive you and not everyone. As for the 60% it is what you get when you fulfill your year. And like I said before I agree they could have a better deal for the new people. Everything was in the contract at least it was in mine and I am sure we didnt have 2 different contracts.

May 18 2007 Truck Revenue for week ( $1289.10) - Adjusted Gross Pay ( $ -17.11 ) Let's see, just to eat on the road for two people, lets say 50.00 a day for two!(250.00 maybe) Hope you don't have a slow period! May 18th Truck Revenue for week ( $2848.95) Adjusted Gross Pay ( $229.73) Guess it's good if your on a diet and you want to lose weight! :-) How about these weeks? Oct 30th truck revenue $2721.60 - oops pay $428.39 (I'm rich) Nov 11th truck revenue $2153.25 - pay $350.00 (moneys rollin in now) Nov 13th truck revenue $3052.35 - pay $465.05 (wow, I'm going shopping) oh, heres a big one! December 4th truck revenue $3165.30 - pay $634.02 or how about in January - pay $ - 775.00. (Yep, that's right, I owe them $775.00) Yes people, these are our real paycheck amounts with Expedite solutions. Can you survive on this? Luckily, we had money we could fall back on when we started with Expedite Solutions. Not everyone was that lucky. I personally know of two teams that did not even have money to buy food with, who actually were going hungry while working for Expedite Solutions! As for 1099's being sent directly to this "financial advisor", funny when we got our paperwork back there is no 1099 anywhere in them. We had to file with the payroll printouts because no 1099 was provided. By law, the 1099 had to be sent to the employee, not to a "financial advisor" of Expedite Solutions choice. I am sorry but this company is just wrong! No one should be put into the position they put un-wary people in. Sleep good for now Expedite Solutions because eventually what you are doing will catch up with you. When it does it is going to bite you really good!

Another thing what you said sounds like the same line of bullshit you hear when you attend what is supposed to be a class. (what a laugh). You must have had to record that and play it over and over so you would be able to preach the s**t to everyone else. I guess you must actually believe it. As far as work ethics go, you should take a look at your own. I NEVER ONCE received anything they stated you would receive as far as pay or bonus went. Your bonus was actually money you were already owed. And the excuse of your paperwork wasent in in time is the same line Adam uses often. I do my paperwork before I ever leave the consignee, (even now), so that was just an excuse that he is accustomed to using. The next one is I dont know what happened I loaded your pay on the card dont know why you didnt get it. Then it was we havent gotten paid yet, (but yet they are supposed to pay you as they state in good faith), and will wait on their pay. And there are at least 1/2 dozen other excuses he had. But I just had to say that whole statement that was made by annom. sounded to familar. I must have de ja vue.

I will agree 100% with Pardel. I am also willing to post numerous negative pay statements. We ran 6000 miles several weeks, funny when the paycheck is in the negative after all that running. I also had Adam give me the same line of bull when it came to not getting the right pay. As far as a 24 hr, emergency line HAHA another joke, hope you wont freeze to death waiting for a return call. If Expedite Solutions is so good, why not put your name. Anyone who works for them better check your statements real good, cause I know their is skimming going on. The contracted given to us was also the same as stated before, 4 pages sure went to about 40 after you signed. Your company is nothing more than a rip off company, who sets out to take everything including your diginity. Well I wouldnt let you take mine. I make money with who I drive for now, and am happy with them, you are nothing but A JOKE. The 3 in the office are all together in on it a bunch of crooks who need their hopes and dreams taking away from them as they do to others. Like I stated as well, I can back all of our info. just as well, problems with the truck, the number of times we were broke down and the numerous pay statements that shows I owe them for the week. Im also not afraid to post my name because I dont have to lie about anything. I can back it 100%.

Never, and I mean never, in the 8 months we were with Expedite Solutions did we receive 60 percent. As for the bonus, how much "bonus" is actually there after they take all of their deductions, like the "savings plan"? We figured out what we were actually receiving after their "deductions" and it was around 12%. As for oil and such being re-imburseable, funny we were never re-imbursed for anything. I guess you have to support this company as your still with contracted with them. Sad you would let someone use you as Expedite Solutions uses their drivers. I, for one, have one hundred percent proof of my claims. As for notable work ethics. We were told by Expedite Solutions themselves we were "hard runners". We seldom turned down loads and actually did run 6000 miles one week. We would run as hard as Panther would run us. We always met their so-called bonus status. We would still end up in the negative owing Expedite Solutions at the end of the week. Want to talk finances? Ok, let's go! Finaces, how many times did I have to e-mail Adam for loads that were not paid. One load took me 6 weeks to be paid on, I finally had to e-mail Kyle that this was a breech of the contract before we were finally paid on it! Let's see, what where some of the excuses, oh yes, "It must not have been entered right?" Yes it was. "I will pay it next weeks settlement". Nope, wasn't there! "Oh, I forgot about it will get it on next settlement", OOps, not there again! Ok what about these deductions! Jan, Feb, and march we were charged hundreds of dollars for tolls! April comes along and again we were charge over 300. to tolls for the month. I started questioning all of these tolls as we had not been on the East coast that much so had not hit many tolls. Why were we paying over 300. a month in tolls? When I asked for proof they could only show me around 150.00 in toll charges on our truck from Jan through April. They re-imbursed me only 150.00. Honest mistake! I wonder! I don't think so! Accounts receivable with no explanation! How many of you Expedite Solutions drivers have that one on your fuel surcharge? I called and left messages as to what it was for, my calls went un-anwsered! I e-mailed, this e-mail went un-anwsered! What about the excess fuel charges? I kept all receipts and wrote them down on the loads as well. 3 times in 8 months there were excess fuel charges that were not ours. Again I sent e-mails and left messages all of which went unanwsered. Oh yes, as for the e-mails I got smart on that one once another team told me how our e-mails seemed to "disappear" from the hotshot e-mail account (which of course is through Expedite Solutions) I started forwarding all of their e-mails and returned e-mails from them to my personal account so I do also have all of my e-mail documentations as well regarding their breech of contract regarding pay. My reply to you is I am willing to post my negative paychecks from Expedite Solutions, can you say the same about your supposed 58 to 60 percent earnings? If you received it, I say prove it! No, I don't think they are honest or a good place to drive for. I think there is a lot of scamming going on. I personally feel they should be ashamed of themselves!

Seems to me if you are really an employee (driver) of Expedite Solutions (I will just bet your an office employee, and we all know who that would be. lol ) you would not be anonymous! You are being very dishonest. The contract is not presented until the end of the school. By the time you get there you have already quit or retired from your job and have spent quite a bit of money on the trip there. No contract was presented to us on arrival. We were asked to sign "a" paper a few day into the start and another near the end of this so-called school. We then were given a totally different 'book' like contract later! The one we were origianally given was maybe 4 pages. It then turned into about 40 pages. As for repairs, right! I have a written statement from the TA mechanic stating not to repair our truck even though it had bad brakes and a steer tire that was about to blow out (and did blow). I also have the repair receipt for $35.00 for the seal off of our rusted out gas tank! When we finally left Expedite Solutions (May 28th) we did not even have air conditioning. The truck was so hot we were sick from the heat. No repairs were done on either truck we were assigned. So go back in the office with your two co-conspiriters and have another cup of coffee! Sit back and laugh while the three of you continue to scam and cheat others out of there hard earned savings. Sad! VERY SAD INDEED! How can you sleep at night?

We couldn't disagree more. We started with this company completely green to the industry and close to having nothing as most people do starting here. But we came in with an open mind, a willingness to learn, and complete determination to make this a successful business. We and everyone else that comes through Expedite Solutions are given the exact same training and the exact same tools to go out and be successful. What did we do different? We listened to what they taught us, used the tools that were available to us, kept communication lines open, and went to WORK. We started in a 2001 Freightliner with 850,000 miles on it. Not once did we have any problems getting anything fixed. Not once were we cited for one violation at any inspection. We had several instances to upgrade trucks but opted to wait until a 2008 model was available to us. We ran over a 100,000 miles in that 2001 without a hitch. We made closer to 58% by the time we added in our monthly production bonuses, and we made them on a consistent basis. Many extras pertaining to the truck such as oil, wiper fluid, etc., are reimbursable. There is a 24 hour emergency line staffed at all times. We ran the numbers, we compared the plans, and even after purchasing our own fuel, we made $15,000 more last year than if we had run a 40/60 split and fuel was paid for. Our training was paid off in less than 3 months. This company has never missed a beat paying us on time. Yes we get paid and paid well. And we don't run 6000 miles a week doing it. The financial advisor is a blessing to anyone getting into the trucking industry. That is all they deal with. And it's worth every penny! We can't imagine trying to keep track of all this information for the year and figure the taxes ourselves. Expedite Solutions knows what the accountants need from us to put our taxes together the right way, and they supply it directly to them for us. A lot of these extras that are mentioned in this conversation are optional. And every single item and cost is laid out in the contract. There are no secrets, there is no deceit, and they certainly don't lie. They have done nothing but put their best foot forward for us and have been willing to help us succeed in this business. They have been there whenever we have needed them. Our life has been blessed many times over this past year, and Expedite Solutions in large part is to thank for that. We are now FAR from broke! We could go on more about the statements that were made against this company, but we don't have time. We're on our way to pickup another load!

First off if you have had 4 upgrades something was probably wrong with the truck.(And why so many DOT inspections) (something already wrong). As the other person stated and myself, we were flat out told "no our trucks brakes were not being fixed" numerous times. We ran our butts off (with bad brakes) and Kyle knew it and refused to have it fixed several times. We spent 10 days broke down while he refused to have the problem taken care of. Our truck was broke down more than it was on the road to begin with, how do you make any kind of money that way? You don't. Second when you pull into some shops and they refuse to even address your problem because, " the owner of expedite solutions does not have a good standing account" with them it starts getting to be a pain. We went to several places that stated "no" because he doesn't pay his bills. Third, you should never have to pay any employer to work for them. We ran good, did not slack off, (when our truck ran), but yet was always given a different excuse as to why we could not have another truck. Like I said if you run 2 days out of every 14 because you are broke down for the other 12 days he's setting you up to fail. Then you have to practically beg for any hotel expenses while your broke down. The truck we had was actually pulled off the road once it was returned, finally, but a little late. We were just lucky we didnt kill someone or ourselves in it. Had no heat, no air, brakes didn't work right, and for his keeping it at 55 to conserve fuel, thats a laugh. We still drive, our truck has a bigger and better motor in it than his truck, we can do 70mph and our RPM will not hit 15' in his truck when we done 55 our RPM's ran 18,in his truck. I get 9 miles to the gallon now at 65mph. His truck didn't get but 5 maybe (if you were lucky) 6, mpg only if you didnt go beyond 55. Then empty the truck would not get up a hill any faster than 20mph, you could get out and run faster. So thats just a little more extra info. on his trucks. As far as the extras you say he tells you about, he sure leaves out the part of which you will be paying him to work for him by the end of the week. We always had our paperwork in on time, but yet he would hold the fs money for as long as he possibly could. And how do you get by with saying someone owes you 700.00 for the week when in actuallity they owe you. That was a frequent matter, not just coincodence.Happend too frequently. I also was charged several weeks for their equipment, and never had their equipment. I started with all my own. He is just a big scam artist who prays on couples to fail, he sets them up to fail. Thats how he makes his living. JUST EVERYONE BEWARE! If you want to go through everything you have worked so hard to put away, then go with him, you will have nothing by the time he is done with you.

The contract states everything out in the open. There are no secrets. You have time to read the contract and also have an attorney look at it if you take the time to do that. You are also not obligated to anything until you do sign. The contract that we signed broke down every expense that you would have to pay if you broke the contract. Also you are required to have a laptop but you do not have to go through them to get one. They explained to us before we ever got to the school what we would need and if we couldn't get it they would provide it at there cost. Also we have never had any problems getting our equipment fixed. And have had numerous surprise dot inspections and passed everyone of them, and we have upgraded to 4 different trucks. If your work ethic is notable you have no problems getting paid. I think the contract could be a little better for new people but at the same time nobody forces you to sign it. If you stay and become an experienced driver your pay also goes up to 60% your escrow goes down you get 100% fsc and a newer truck. The pay is comperable to other owners. Basically its all you put into it and your personal experience.

I would like to rephrase the statement, "that all his trucks are a piece of junk" I must reclarify. When you are a beginner with him you are put in a piece of junk. Most of the time they are unsafe vehicles to you and others on the roadway. If you can manage to stay with him for approx. 6 months, then you will usually be upgraded to a better truck.
