Buffalo,#2Consumer Suggestion

What happened to you was shameful and a true rip off! I would like to make two suggestions:
First, go back through the website exactly the way you did the first time. Take screen shots along the way (cntl-prt scrn will capture, then paste to a word document). Don't forget to scroll down so that you get the entire page.
Once you go through the end, but before you hit submit, check carefully to make sure that no boxes have been pre-checked for you. Scammers love to get people with those little boxes that you have to uncheck if you don't want something. I say this because you need to cover your bases and make absolutely sure this isn't your fault before you go to suggestion 2.
Second, call the IRS and ask them why they decreased your refund. When they say you authorized it, you have proof that you didn't. They should have to look into it, and hold the relevent parties responsible.
I hope this helps a little. Good luck!
