After years of being great customer, the new resident managers failed to keep light sensors working, failed

to ensure safety by letting intruder enter gate by tailgating on my code.  when I asked for the managers

help, he  brushed me off and said it doesn't matter.  But the gate sign says no tailgating, and must enter

code for the tenants security.

If an intruder wanted to rob and rape a tenant, he would be unidentified, because if he comes in on a

tenant's code, no one can identify him.  THe resident manager's job is supposedly to protect the tenants

too. 

There are no emergency lights in the facility I rent.  The address of Columbia is the headquarters, and not where I have a unit. At night, when the sensor turns off the light every five minutes, approx.  it is complet

ly black and one can see his/her feet or anything.  The sensor over my unit fails to turn it on; so I have fall

en over things because I must walk all the way to the end of the isle, a long way for someone with injured

legs, etc. and bad for someone who should not over use legs, etc.

When I wrote a letter to the acting manager (the president CEO was incorrectly listed on their website so

I don't know who it is), asking for these things to be fixed, they sent me a letter, telling me they are  kicking me out, even in the worst heat

when she knows I have great difficulty walking, and am a Senior citizen.  I will be forced to leave a lot of

valuable and treasured family history items, because I won't be able to get it out in less than thirty days, by the end of July 2012.  Storage facilities don't care how long you have been a good tenant, if you com-

plain they refuse to fix their errors and kick you out.  That is wrong.  I sent a letter to the FTC; but they won't do anything, except keep a record of my complaints.
