I bought tickets for a movie on Thursday through Fandango and the movie is now cancelled. I called up and Fandango is not ready to give me a refund. The person on the phone said best he can do is submit a refund request and I will know in 3-5 business days. then, I get an email from refund department saying, if I want the refund I should buy another ticket for another day and they will verify that and refund for this ticket. This is just plain stupidity. Why should I buy another ticket to get a refund. A few friends of mine are getting the same treatment. this is totally unfair. I don't want to see the movie at a later date or buy another ticket. When I call up the number again, they said if the refund department is involved we cant help. They are literally holding my money for a product/service I am not using. What else do I do to get my money back?
