I was looking for a re-load for my Windows 98SE and in my searches on a few occasions that "Filefortune" came up.



I had noticed on several previous searches that they were offering membership to access their site for $4.87 but this time it was advertised for a lifetime access,so I decided to take it.



I entered my credit card information and personal details as requested in what appeared to be a standard form which again mentioned the $4.87 stating it would appear in my statement as "easy365help.com 8669725077" at the very top of the form.I tried to make a printed copy of my entries but it refused to allow a print copy.Since my screen is only 15 inches I did not notice any other mention of different amounts so I entered the info.A notice said it may take a couple of minutes,which seemed not unusual BUT when the "Sign-Up Successful" box appeared it showed my membership with a company called "megaflixpass".That seemed strange to me,but since I know companies use different names for different activities I wasn't overly alarmed, just a little concerned.



After that I received in my email account, which I was using for that particular action,a written receipt issued by "Dormicom Limited" stating that I am being billed by "helpfulppl.com 866-972-1541" for a " $4.87 3 DAY TRIAL to megaflixpass Premium recurring at $89.73 every 30 days unless/until cancelled" .



NOW I was concerend ,alarmed and ANGRY.I realized then that I had been scammed  and probably legally,albeit by deceit.There is no doubt for me that their intentions were to deceive me with the "Bait and Switch" con game...and they did.



Of couse I immediately sent a cancellation email to their [email protected] and [email protected] just to cover myself.



I called my VISA within minutes of cancelling and a Visa agent said there was already a hold for them of over $100. from my account.
