Others have described the nature of the business, but suffice it to say it is a subscription service that matches parties.....or so you would think.
I 'met' a woman and started talijng to her. It was odd to me that she didn't have Skype or other means of a video chat, but this seems to be a common theme in China.
Basically we started talkng ans I said I would go to China to meet her. She said that would not be possible, but that she could come to the Sttea. RED FLAG! Then she tells me to use a specific travel company in China. So this is setting off serious alarm bells in my head.
The issue with the dating site is: the majority of the profiles are fake. They have al the usual disclaimers and warnings about profiels, but the onus is on the user to filter through all the s--t to find a real person.
In the first day I reported 25 fake profiles. If I calculate the lost time and out of pockdt cash I have 'invested' more than $!000. The good news is that I kept all my hard cash because I coujld smell the foul odoer of a scam artist across 7000 miles!
