finite construction services john John Forged My Dads Name On a Check Made out to my Father Internet
I was looking online for a contractor for my Fathers House. John called me from Houston! He stated that He was trying to start a business here in Austin. He was a nice and sometimes very talkative person. He seemed quite nice. As we were trying to cut down on costs, we ( the family) opted to do all the painting. He never gave us anyhing to do the job. Everytime I asked him for reciepts of what he had bought. He gave me an excuse like. Oh we dont do that.!
I became suspicious when my father would say that he would leave and not comeback till the next day in the afternoon.
My Father got sick and we have to take him to the emergency room. He has cancer and phnuemonia.
We had been waiting for the second check to arrive at my Fathers house. And during that time. John kept calling me to see if the checked had came in. John went to my fathers home and walked in with out being invited in and proceeded to go through my fathers mail. He found the check and took it and forged my fathers name on iit and cashed it. Now we are out a sink and some money to the tune of 1500.00. John will not return my phone calls! Plese look elsewhere for your constructions needs. They will rip you off like they did my Dad!!

1) The company had relocated to the Austin area but I still use the cell number with the Houston area code. I did not "call from Houston"
2) They were not trying to 'cut down on costs' Her father pulled out a reverse mortgage and spent the lump sum buying a new vehicle in cash which left him little to get the work that was needed done. The work necessary were items that the Mtg company required be completed or they were going to Foreclose. I bent over backwards trying to come up with ways to get the items completed plus a few others. The company passed on any profits, I personnally did the work myself (plumbing, painting, flooring, drywall work) in order to save them more money.
3) I was scheduled to meet with this person (the daughter) at her fathers house to pick up the final check. I was made aware of when the check was sent out by the Mtg company so there was no need for me to keep calling her. When she did not make the meeting I spoke with the brother who lived at the house and he gave me the check.
4) It has been confirmed by many at the Mtg company of the authentication of the signature.
5) I find it interesting that she doesn't mention that all of the work on the contract was completed, the inspection by the Mtg company was done and the foreclosure proceedings were stopped.
I saved her father from getting his home taken from him and this is what she tries to accuse me of.
She is correct, however, in one regard. I will not accept her calls nor return them. I do not deal with people that falsely accuse.
Work performed, completed and agreed to on the contract:
800 sq ft of flooring installed (L & M)
$400 in paint costs
1 new sink and faucet installed (L & M)
trim work
New toilet tank guts installed (L & M)
new drain work on 2nd sink (L & M)
New bedroom ceiling installed, primed and full room painted (L & M)
This work was all completed at a total cost to them for $3000. (2 checks from the Mtg company)
It is these type of people that make it very difficult to want to help those in need. But, regardless, what I have written are the facts, you all can decide.

Call the Police, he has committed "Breaking and entering"(Yes even though there was no breakage)
