DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY DEALING WITH THESE INCOMPETENT INDIVIDUALS WHO DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS AT ALL! GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE WHO HAS BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE.
We decided to use First ACH as a payment processor for sending money to sellers for inventory we acquire and FACH assured us a level of service that met our requirements.
However, soon we found out how slow their processing is. It can take weeks to send a payment. In our business that is unacceptable with our customers. While we were debating whether to continue with the slow service, all of a sudden they decided to put a hold on all the payments. WTF? Their compliance dept claimed that we need to file paper work for every transaction we processed. WTF again? this was supposed to be a simple automated transaction.
Their compliance department is run by a bunch of incompetent employees who don't care much for resolving customer problems quickly, much less understanding the issue at hand. The best they can do is, read something off a script when they don't understand how to solve the problem.
I've lost customers because of their conduct. There is no avenue for getting a refund if they screw up. That department will just let your call go to voicemail and not ever return your calls.
This was a frustrating experience and it is quite difficult to put a price tag on the reputation harm because of the payments that were not processed and time it took.
Oh and finally, once you sign up, good luck cancelling your account. They will make you jump through many more hoops and make you file additional bullshit paperwork to stonewall the process. All the while they will keep hitting your bank account for fees.
