First Premier consumer fraud ripoff and slow processing Sioux Falls South Dakota
I found a flyer at Food Lion in Mayport,FL and applied for this card 3 years ago.
On this application there were no disclosures and said no annual fee. I figured out this place was a fraud when I received a bill for $85.00 and no card after several months. I paid the the $85.00 and told them to close the account for a card I never received after disclosing the terms over the phone.
In effect, I paid money for NOTHING. I was told by customer diservice I would pay almost $1,000.00 for $300.00 credit. They closed my account in 2000.
Thinking it was over with, I checked my credit reports it was repopened without my knowledge this month. When I applie for FP I knew nothing about sub-prime market.
After escaping First Premier, I received a visa from Navy Federal Credit union with none of the hidden fees of first premier for apr of 12.5 and no annual fee.
