First Realty/Karol Kirby Buyers and Sellers Beware Auburn Alabama
Multiple ethical issues were uncovered with listing agent, Karol Kirby, of First Realty that occurred during the sale of our home in Auburn, AL and resulted in big financial losses and undue stress placed upon our family. Our relocation and personal situations were taken advantage of by our listing agent. We were lied to, misrepresented, manipulated into accepting an offer on our home, third parties were allowed access into our home alone without our consent, and a conflict of interest was not disclosed to us, but later discovered on our own accord. When these issues were brought to the attention of the broker at First Realty of Auburn, they brought about the typical corporate response of "she's one of the most professional agents in our office" and "I'm sure it was all a big misunderstanding." To that end, I’m sure there will be an eloquent and professional rebuttal to this complaint. Just a note of caution: home buyers and sellers do your homework before doing business with this agent and this real estate office! You are taking big chances with your biggest investment.
An ethics complaint has been filed against this agent with the Lee County Board of Realtors.
