My experience with First USA closely resembles the previous complaint presented. This company presented expensive offerrings pertaining to web promotion that produce no residual value. Despite constant efforts to plainly relate these observations of problems and discontent with products, process and development quality, I was met with no real action to either discuss, resolve or negotiate early on or throughout interaction. My executive account manager had excuses to not speak with me for weeks. In addition, this company is a business partner of another company guilty of major fraud.
First USA personnel avoid any communication presenting interruption of their plan, which is to decide for themselves what programs to introduce that will take client money for the least company input. Examples include their " Social Media program" ($3995.00) which involves two months of posts that have no relevancy to promote a site or impact on activity visible on their own Web Analytics program ($1995.00)showing limited click data for three months. Simply, their social media posts are juvenile and non-tactical. Their "Press Release" is sent to one Internet publication generally unacknowledged as unread and had zero impact on site visibility. Furthermore, it was so obviously prepared by inexperienced writer that a refund was quickly offerred but never followed through on. A "Landing page" ($2495.00) is an unnecessary expense for a new start up with limited funds and that ultimately the client develops. Business Branding is considered the Logo ($2695.00) which a client ends up developing themselves. They also aggressively sell their Affiliate program designed to generate money until the website becomes viable. This idea is a scam meant to generate leads from websites for their own purposes and gain commission. Actual sales can be kept from the client who if lucky sees one $100 payment while paying hosting fees every month. They sell them as no maintenance money makers--all lies.
The client is assigned a contact for each product/service in addition to the account manager, however contact is only permitted for 30 minutes a week. The bottom line is keeping track of 6 projects contacts progress with one appointment per week. A point not learned until after money is paid. If a question is not answered it rolls to the next week. If a phone appointment is missed you must wait until the following week for another appointment. Consequently extensive delays and excuses for lack of progress give First USA time to schedule clients every 30 minutes per an account manager and then blame the client for delays past a 17 day completion promise. Projects that should take a few weeks take nightmarish months. Money for all projects is required upfront, despite their start time, quality or reported satisfaction.
To conclude regarding First USA Business Development, this is yet another ecommerce related company with aggressive phone selling techniques and less than marginal products and services to offer in return, bordering on fully fraudulent but left acting as a business to bait others. Despite lack of project completions, account manager contact disappears as does the executive account management leaving the client with pieces of unfinished, unsatisfactory website promotions that through their own analytics, prove no more value to a website than before and the client simply hangs in limbo divested of funds or means of resolution.
