Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I was cold called by this company one day out of the blue. They claim to be a web optimization company that can make your web site come up first in any searches that people do. Against my better judgement I listened to their call. I had red flags going off the whole time and I should have known better and should have just hung up on them. They transfer you from one high pressure salesperson to the next until you give in. When I told them I couldn't afford anything they transferred me to a slick talking guy that said he could do a special thing for me for one year. I wanted to talk to my husband and call them back. He told me I couldn't, that the offer wouldn't be available if I called back (another red flag going off! wish I'd listened to my gut reaction to all this). I agreed to let them "help" me and wish I hadn't. This man walked me through signing up via their web site and he quickly had me go through everything. When it came to the part where they had all their rules, etc. he verbally told me what was on there as if he didn't want to wait for me to read it like he was in a hurry. Now I know that he wasn't in a hurry, he just didn't want me to read the fine print. I wish I hadn't let him do that because in the fine print it stated NO REFUNDS. PERIOD. I never would have signed up if I had known this. They stayed on the phone with me while they made sure my credit card would go through for the amount they stated (this is the only thing they seemed to be concerned about...getting the money). As soon as it went through I was transferred back to someone else. I was told I'd get a call the next day at a specific time so they could get information from me so they could develop a web page for me. They claimed they couldn't use the web site I already had...this seems to be a common thing they tell everyone. Up to this point they hadn't done anything for me except take down my name, address, credit card info, and web site name.

I waited by my phone the next day and no one ever called me. I became very alarmed at this point. I emailed the company and told them to cancel the charges on my card that I was not going to do business with them. It was at this point that I feared I had been ripped off. They never responded to my emails but as soon as someone ready my email they called me. They had someone call me to try to set up another appointment and claimed they were "busy" and that was why I didn't get the call. I refused to answer these calls. In my eyes, they had had their chance to prove that they were a legitimate business and they had failed.

I disputed the charges with my credit card company. First Web Search sent a slick, canned, and mispelled letter back to them claiming that they had done all this work for me. They claimed that the minute I talked to them they started working on this for me. What a bunch of B.S!! They couldn't work on anything for me because I never gave them any information because they never called me when they were supposed to. I went round and round with my credit card company about the charges. It finally all came down to the fact that they have a NO REFUND POLICY. So the credit card company recharged me for their services and I am having to pay for them doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR ME. First Web Search also told my credit card company that they told me repeatedly that there were no refunds. This is absolutely not true. The first time I heard about there not being any refunds was from my credit card company telling me, not them.

My husband called Robert Jenkins Jr.'s, the owner of the company, cell phone to talk to him about it, figuring he was a businessman that perhaps didn't know how his company was being operated. He thought that if he explained what had happened then he would call his office and tell them to refund the money since they had failed to live up to their end of the bargain and hadn't done anything for me. You would think a businessman would want to have a good reputation and keep his company in good standing. BOY WERE WE EVER WRONG. He taunted my husband and said "I HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD LAWYER". Kind of makes you think this guy is used to doing this, doesn't it?

So my husband thought he'd call Rita C. Jenkins, also the owner, thinking he might find a more sympathetic ear. SHE DENIED THAT SHE IS INVOLVED IN THIS COMPANY AT ALL. I can't believe she would deny it when she is registered on the Nevanda Secretary of State's Business Entity page below:

So, anyone out there that has money to blow on nothing, go ahead and give them a call. They've got everything all set up to take your money and they don't have a conscience so maybe they will and maybe they won't do something for your money. To this day they haven't done anything for the money they got from me and they don't care if they do. I tell you what, if this kind of business practice is legal in the United States, sign me up. I wish I could make my money this easily.

BEWARE OF ANY CALLS FROM ANYONE THAT YOU GET THAT ARE NOT INITIATED BY YOU! That's the lesson here. If you're being cold called, you are probably being set up to be scammed. And mostly BEWARE OF FIRST WEB SEARCH, LLC if you should get a call from them. HANG UP IMMEDIATELY!
