I am a disabled senior citizen who always shops online.  I saw an advertizement concerning a special tooth whitening product that was developed by a member of my community, and was offering a free sample of this product for the cost of shipping and handling only which was under $10.00.  I was curious and thought," what could I lose"?.  I lost114.50  that was charged a few days after I received the sample and that was when I discovere that there was no working  telephone number and no address of any kind.  I found a similar report written by someone else that had been scammed and found a working telephonne number, but had to wait on hold for 43 muinutes before I actually spoke to someooone.  They were willing to cancel my "plan", but there are no refunds on acccounts that didn't request a refund within ten days of purcchase.  Theu claimed it was in the fine print, but I couldn"t find it.Beware of free samples.  In this case, my free sample from Flashwhites cost me $114.50. and they stole it from me as surely as is they had robbed me at gunpoint!

Flash Whites Trial Scam

I noticed the Free Trial for the Flash Whites and like a lot of people thought that I was getting a bargin. When I signed up for this I was told it would cost me $6.95. My set arrived within a few days.

2 weeks later another box arrived and I just thought this was a mistake. As I got no notification when I place the order (normal confirmation email etc) and there were no details on the shipping form sent with the product ( No header, NO COST, no, contact details ) Just stating 2 products. I was a bit unsure how to go about back-tracking this. I put it down to a mistake and moved on.

Until this month and another box arrived. I checked my account and found 3 line items going to Flash White. One in Oct for $114, one in Nov for $121 and one in Dec for $121.

Wow. OK, I didnt read the fine print, like a lot of others but at no point when I signed up for this did I request an auto delivery services. Even if I did, I was still charged almost double the price that I have recently seen in the very small Terms and condidtions section of $69.95 per month.

Flash White does not seem to care about Customer Service as the refuse to answer the phones. To end this I have had to cancel my Card and my bank has requested  that I despute these charges and I should see paymnet returned in 3 days.

Shame on you Flash White. Where is the honesty. Word of mouth is a powerful thing and with internet media these days you have a rocky road ahead.

I purchased what I thought was a 1 time fee, for shipping FREE product for $6.95. The add let you to believe you were making a one time purchase for the product, nothing about a subscription. They debited my checking account $69.95 which I can't afford.

What kind of company is this. I plan to report to them to Better Business Bureau, post on all of my Social Media websites that they make you believe you are purchasing 1 trial package, not entering into a monthly plan. They charged me last month for the Free package and now I see a charge for $69.95. I've been on hold forever trying to contact them.

Freedom of speech is what we will take advantage of. If you were billed the $6.95 and nothing else yet. Call your bank and put a stop payment - your bank can block them from making the payment. With the holiday, it was too late for me.

I certainly cannot pay $69.95 each month for nothing and even if they were to send more of the product. The product doesn't work - I'll have to look and see if there is a money back guarantee.

I'm going to fight this one. I can't imagine how many other types of businesses there are like this. Live and learn. They should be ashamed of their business tactics taking advantage of people like me and everyone else that gave their bank information.

Do youo think I'm stupid?  There is NOTHING in your website says anything about purchaing your product..  This is lie number one.  There is nothing offered but a free sample.  This is lie  number two. and nothing is mentioned about price of your product lie number three.  My son is the district attorney of our county and also read what you said in your advertizment and this surprise $114.50 that was debited from my  checking accountl   Do you think anybody that lives on disability  Soccial Security would purhcase a proccuct tht was $114.50?  My son suggests that I sue you for the stolen amount as well as report your dispicable business practices before you leave the area and change your name so that you can prey on other unsung victimme.  Shame on you Flashwhites!

Im sorry but you were NOT robbed. Had you read the whole site you would have seen that the trial starts when you ORDER it. Not when you get it in the mail. This means that you only get a day or two to actualy try the product. The issue is that you did not cancel your plan before the trial period ended. You made an assumption that your trial started when you recieved the product. Your mistake was NOT reading all of the information available on the web site.
