We bought a Fleetwood home in april 2013, during the travel from Corpus Christi to Rockport a tire blew and destoryed part of the undearneath barrier which IS NOT COMSMETIC . They sent someone out to fix it along with a water hose they busted,Well not fix it BUT PATCH IT WITH TAPE.It did not hold a month and fell again. They sent someone out a second time,I told them tape is not going to work, they said they would FIX IT . Well they must have put tape again since I was working when they came to do the repairs,.. That weekend the skirting guys came and skirted the home, the barrier repair or patch was still holding. 3 weeks ago I took panel off to add a water faucet and lord behold, the barrier lining and insulation was down on the ground AGAIN,it was TAPED again.. Now Fleetwood said its our fix... Now f fleetwood maintains that they make quality homes and have a good rep. they can send someone to REPAIR the barrier which is underneath insulation and was a already present when the home was purchased.. Or do they just send repair people to do temp fixes to get past the 1 year warranty ??? Thats not good for business..Black tape WILL NOT work unless it is a heat tape or has a strong glue that can handle heat cold humidity etc... or it needs to been sewn on ...I cant wait to see Fleetwoods excuse on this one. Since it is not a cosmetic problem but an ongoing problem from day 1 since we had it delivered ... There was other comsmetic things wrong that were fixed inside, But I want this underneath barrier fixed properly ... Thats all I ask for ...Thank you

I am glad to report that Fleetwood did honor my request even though warranty was expired. This was a problem that started when home was delivered and fixed several times, It was not a cosmetic problem. It was an insulation barrier issue, and Fleetwood promptly sent someone out a week after I wrote to Fleetwood headquarters .... This problem has been resolved ..Thank You .J.R.
