The extotion and vandalism committed by the movers at Florida Southwest Van Lines, Inc. can only be punished by closing down the company and I hope that occurs forthwith.

On April 29, 2011 I was moving four miles away and did all of the packing myself and moved it all with the exception of two desks, a sofa, bed and armoire.   The first infraction was a quote from Mr. Sandor Isreal at the  FLSW van lines office of  $503.00 for these five items to be moved.  All was well, and the movers arrived and began taking the five pieces of furniture out of my house to move 4 miles away within Gainesville to a Condo.

Again I was given the quote of $503.00 and 105.00 had already been charged to my credit card as a retainer fee.  So, I brought 400.00 with me to pay the moving bill.  Things began to change and go south as the truck pulled up to the new condo and the movers came inside to see where the furniture was to be placed.   Then the bomb dropped and they said it would be another $200.00 to move the furniture into my condo.  I questioned them and argued that I was quoted $503 and had already had $105  taken from my credit card as a deposit.  The cunning con men disguised as movers informed me that they would "DRIVE OFF" with my furniture still in the van if I did not come up with the $200 additional and my furniture would be put in storage at  $800 per month unitl I paid to have it  redelivered which would be another $600.00

I was by myself and called their office to complain about the additional unwarranted charges and was told that it was a travel fee plus movers overtime.  It only took 30 minutes to move five pieces of furniture out and 40 minutes to move it into my new place.  WHAT IS THE OVERTIME?

Copious  stories have been written on these  thieves and how they threaten people and extort money, if you just type in the name Florida Southwest Van Lines, Inc. in any search engine the nightmarish story of multiple elderly people being defiled by these criminals will appear.

Oh yes, I called the Ocala Police Dept. to complain about this theft and they jovially said "Oh, I thought we put them out of business, I guess they are back at it again".  To protect and serve is a Hoax.
